Welcoming and very easy-going staff, very clean, good warm shower and the facility is well kept overall. The surroundings are picturesque and very calm. Their restaurant is just couple of minutes away and is a gem. I highly recommend to go there for a dinner you will not regret, the food is just delicious. You will have your breakfast in the same place and the breakfast itself is a special event. Free parking with plenty of space. Great place, thank you for a nice stay.

Always love staying in this hotel, particularly because of the fabulous breakfast and excellent restaurant. Only issue we had is trying to get in when we arrived, it's not easy to ring when the number is German and we only have an English mobile. Please provide a WHATSAPP number for people to ring, it is much easier.
We will stay here again.

This place is a hidden gem located far from big city life. The staff is friendly and helpful, the room was large and clean. The highlight was the breakfast with more than enough delicious food to start the day. Thank you!

This was our 3rd stopover at Abtei Sayn on our journey from the UK to Nuremberg. It is set in a wonderful wooded valley and so peaceful. We had a large room on the bottom floor next to a big kitchen with fridge/freezer, coffee machine, kettle, oven, teas & coffees and sweet treats all free for use. It was a very hot day, 32 degrees but the room remained lovely and cool despite having no air con due to its very thick walls. Had dinner at the nearby (and connected) Lindenhof restaurant, the schnitzel was beautifully cooked and very plentiful. The breakfast was again at the Lindenhof restaurant a 5 minute was away and was truly a gastronomic feast. Highly recommended. See more info on my older review.

Friendly place. Wifi wasn’t working in our room but they sorted it out. There was no curtain/blind in our room so I hung a towel over the window.
The restaurant Lindenhof is about 250m away and fabulous. We ate dinner and had breakfast there. Outstanding. I’d return just for the food here.
No tea/coffee in rooms but there’s a kitchen where you help yourself to tea/coffee/snacks etc.
