I stayed there March 2020… Due to the beginning of Covid there was only 8 of us. Mr. Hanaffi made a great meal during the nyepi New Years of Bali. Best place, best price, and mr. Hanaffi is one of the nicest people I have ever known. The kind of fellow that could never bring himself to do something that he judged as wrong. Yes it was my first time to stay in hang 5 but I have known him as one of my best friends for the better part of 30 years. I have stayed at Hang Five Hostel before the dreaded covid & now just after Bali opened up to tourist. I am happy to say the hostel atmosphere is still just as great!!! Many local warungs nearby to eat at. On site manager Sultan & owner Hanafi will go out of their way to assist you.
