Labarthe

We had a wondeful stay at Richard and Jeanette's . We stayed in one of the B&B rooms. Really beautiful room. Very comfortable bed. ( my husband actually had the best night sleep in years!) Breakfast was continental with fresh cooked eggs as well if you wanted. The scenery around there is gorgeous and we had a really relaxing time in the garden with a glass of wine. Richard and Jeanette could not be more helpful and attentive hosts. We would definitely stay there again if we were in the area.

Our stay Labarthe B&B was exceptional, we really thought our room and facilities were perfect. Jeanette and Richard were the perfect hosts, providing Glyn and I with first class breakfast, as well as local knowledge of the area. I must say, our bed was extremely comfortable and we loved their super friendly dog Jack. Hope to be back soon.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at Richard & Jeanette's B&B, a very warm welcome, immaculate house and grounds, fantastic bed and linen, even an invigorating dip in the pool. Lovely walking the laneways from the house, and also a nice walk to the town of Duras. Was lucky to see the starlings murmuring during sunset one evening with the full moon behind them, a memorable sight. A calm and peaceful stay, thank you Richard, Jeanette and Jack!

Richard/Jeanette Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful house with us so very comfortable and immaculately clean. The breakfast was great with lovely eggs as well as a full variety of cereal/fruits etc . Jeanette, Richard and Jack (the dog) were the perfect hosts going above and beyond in all aspects. We stayed in the B &B which was extremely comfortable. They were both very knowledgable about the area and suggested excellent restaurants to eat out and places to visit. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable (hopefully we will back shortly).

Returned to Richard and Jeanette’s wonderful house for a 6 night stay. As usual it was spotlessly clean, comfortable, welcoming and a joy to stay there. Plus they passed on invaluable knowledge of the area. Highly recommended.

Arriving at Labarthe we were immediately struck by its very peaceful location. We were warmly welcomed by Richard & Jeanette and after being shown our room, overlooking the pool, were treated to a complimentary drink on the terrace. The view is absolutely magnificent and for the duration of our 3 night stay, whenever we sat there, we never heard any traffic. You could literally have heard a pin drop. It was quite simply bliss ! The breakfast provided was extremely plentiful with an excellent choice of cereal, fruits, yoghurts, croissant and toast. Throughout our stay our hosts were always very helpful and informative. Most certainly we would recommend Labarthe to anyone visiting the area. It would also be remiss not to mention a third member of the hosting team, Jack the dog. Extremely friendly and, for us, the icing on the cake. We would absolutely not hesitate to return.

This was our second stay at lovely Labarthe, and we'll be back again at the first opportunity. Richard and Jeanette are very accommodating and generous hosts, for whom nothing is too much trouble. And Jack the dog's welcome was very warm, too. Immaculately clean, excellent breakfast, outstanding view from the terrace and a lovely pool, all add to its attraction. Highly recommended.

This was our second year staying at la Barthe, and it was wonderful. A copious Breakfast on the terrace with a fabulous view of the surrounding area. Richard and Jeanette provide a very comfortable and spotless environment. As it was very hot this year we were able to enjoy the pool . I highly recommend staying here.
