We love Fig Tree Bay. We have visited for several years, always admiring the King Jason and its setting from the boardwalk. We booked a holiday here in September into October. The King Jason didn’t disappoint. The welcome on arrival was very friendly as were all of the staff throughout our stay without exception. The hotel and rooms are cleaned and maintained to a high standard. The food was very good, we were consistently impressed with the choice and quality. All staff deserve a special mention for their effort, their quality of service and their friendliness. We will definitely return. Thank you to all at the King Jason for making our stay the best ever at Fig Tree Bay.

Spent a week at the Sunrise Jade Hotel and had very high expectations given the past reviews, and in general we were not disappointed, but the hotel is not without some flaws, we booked a shared pool room, and while the room was very nice, the shared pool was a bit of a waste, as the sun was only on our terrace for a couple of hours in the morning, I guess the clue is in the name, Sunrise, as the hotel faces North East, this is also an issue for the main pool which also is in the shade mid-afternoon, given the time of year I guess this is not so much of an issue mid Summer, the room is very nice, modern, and very comfortable, the maid service is extremely good. one strange thing missing is the outside lights on the terrace and balconies, The hotel has a dine-around option as well as the standard buffet restaurant, which is quite good, the breakfast is very good, and the staff member who looks after the egg station was brilliant, i didn't get his name but you only ever had to wait a couple of minute for omelets, poached or fried eggs, all served with a smile, the actual buffet area is a bit cramped and busy, but still works and all the staff seems friendly and helpful. We tried all the dine-around restaurants, but this is where we were left disappointed as the quality varied immensely, from fantastic to utterly awful, the Kyklos Mezedopoleio which is at another Sunrise hotel in town was simply the worst restaurant I think I have ever been to, given it is a Greek/Cypriot restaurant I was expecting good local food but what we were served was overcooked, tasteless, with staff who didn't seem to care, we had Calamari and Taramslata starters, the Calamari was burnt and the Taramslata was served with stale toasted french bread I had the Pork Kontosouvli, which was so overcooked it was black on the outside and dry and tasteless, my wife had the Pork Souvili which was also so overdone she could not get the meat off the skewer, I would avoid this restaurant at all cost, on the other end of the scale was the Reef next to the hotel, the steaks were exceptional, cooked perfectly, with attentive staff, excellent starters, and a nice atmosphere, we also tried the Ginger Asian and Brazillian both were OK, the Ginger was overpriced for what you get, the Brassilian was again in town at another Sunrise hotel, and while better than the Mezedopoleio I would not go again, Other highlights of the hotel is the sunbed allocation scheme, which works well, the hotel grounds are very nice, we enjoyed the small beach in front of the hotel, the pool bar is very good, Overall a nice hotel, is it special no it is not, we stayed earlier in the year at the Amanti in Ayia Napa, and the Sunrise Jade is way off the quality of that hotel, I don't think I would return, but we did enjoy our week.

From the minute we arrived at this hotel to the minute we left we felt valued and looked after. Every single member of staff, regardless of role, was friendly, efficient and professional. We were greeted with a drink on arrival. There were no charges for things like the safe, towels, etc. and someone took us to our room and showed us how everything worked. Our suite was immaculately clean and sparkling. We soon found this the case with all the hotel areas. The allocated sun bed was great (we asked to be around the adult pool and was given a fab location). Even though this isn’t an adult only hotel it was peaceful and calm where we were. The food quality in this hotel is amazing and the dine around option included in half board is fantastic value for money. Location - can’t get any better. Right on the *****, so central to everything. Situated on the beach and the sea directly in front of the hotel has no rocks so you can literally walk straight in. It’s ridiculously clear and like a large bath. Customer service is second to none. Nothing is too much trouble. Frozen flannels were brought to your sunbed around noon. A small bowl of fresh fruit followed in the afternoon. There was a manager’s cocktail party which guests were invited to and this gave a really personal touch (shout out to Christos who is great). I’ve been to Cyprus quite a few times and got married at the Sunrise Beach. I will definitely come again and can honestly say that these two hotels are the best I have stayed at in Protaras!

This hotel is lovely, it was very clean, the room was good with everything that was needed including robes and slippers. Lovely high powered shower. We had twin beds pushed together with separate bedding but wanted one bed with one set of bedding. We requested this after our first night and it was sorted that day without bother. The food in all of the restaurants and buffet was always good, only once had lasagne in the Italian which had pretty much no meat in it but apart from that you could not fault any of it. The staff were really nice, especially Charlotta who greeted everyone with a huge smile, she was especially helpful and friendly a real asset to the hotel. We stayed on half board basis which we would probably change to B&B on any return visit only because the drinks at the hotel are pretty steep, much cheaper to drink in the bars and restaurants on the *****. We like wine with our meals and found it very expensive having it with our meals in the evenings. Location for night time entertainment was great literally on the doorstep. The beach at fig tree bay which the hotel is situated on is just lovely, soft sand from beach right through walking down through the water to swim, play games or do water sports. Beautiful clear sea, as good as we have found in the Maldives just perfect. Would recommend definitely

Just spent a week at the Protaras Plaza, loved every minute of my stay, hotel is excellent, all the staff from management down were, kind, courteous, friendly and helpful throughout my visit they could not do enough for you, i was half board and enjoyed the breakfast and evening meals, the rooms are extremely clean and the maids came in every day to make the beds and change the towels, the pool area is well kept and i had no trouble getting a sun lounger, i tried the revolving bar on the roof one night and although they don't sell beer up there they do have shorts and cocktails, the hotel is situated at the quiet end of the ***** so no problems with noise, all in all i would definitely recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again, 10 out of 10.

Vino aquí con mi esposa y mis amigos para disfrutar de unos días de jubilación. Casi el final del verano para relajarse. El hotel es fantástico y el personal es muy feliz. Ellos están felizes en su trabajo que es bueno para buscar a los clientes. Además de que los alimentos son frescos y tienen diferentes opciones para elegir todos los días. El menú de bebidas es grande y el cocktail es delicioso. Las habitaciones y el área de la lobby son limpias y agradables. La piscina es hermosa y la parte más hermosa del hotel se encuentra a la vista de la habitación y del hotel.
