We wanted to try a new hotel where we could eat/drink and hang out for New Year’s Eve. The bar was closed, no room service as the website described. The other bar mentioned on their site that had a first come first serve New Year’s party was closed for a private event. Location is not that great for anything else really. Room was comfortable.

This is a really nice hotel in a great location in Austin, but it's a little loud at night (bars across the street are open until 2am), so be sure to ask where your room is at check-in. If you want your room cleaned every day, be sure to ask. The room was spacious, loved the little booth next to the bed and the bed was super comfy. The lobby bar was closed, but there are two other hotel bars, so plenty of options. Overall, I would likely rate this a 7 out of 10. I would stay there again if the price was right.

The hotel is really nice, new, clean and has a very nice decoration. The room is big and has everything you need. The hotel is surrounded by many restaurants and bars. The only negative side in my opinion is the expense vallet service, which is almost 40% of the price of the room rate, which is crazy, and there isn't any more options for overnight parking parking around.

Overall, this was a nice stay. Be aware that parking is a challenge that you will receive a text about that after booking and the day before the trip if it goes like mine did, complete with a solution for a $39 valet tab.
The place has a nice vibe going about it. There is construction across the street currently. One miss was that the soap had not been replenished in the shower which was discovered at an inopportune moment. Otherwise, it was an incredible shower. Seriously. There is a gin bar on the second. There was no disruption or noise from that in my 2nd floor room and this was New Years Eve. The sack was outstanding. Staff was pleasant. Did not try out breakfast. It is in an area that is up and coming, hence pockets of construction.

The air conditioning in my room was not functional. I couldn’t not adjust the temperature below 73 degrees, which is much too warm for me to be able to sleep. It was very noisy outside and I could hear loud music coming from neighboring bars. The entire hallway outside my room reeked of cigarette smoke. The hallways are also extremely dark especially at night.
Also there is no lobby and it was extremely difficult to find where to valet. The check in desk is located inside a bar/restaurant that appears to be closed down/not a functional restaurant. All very strange. Would not recommend.

The hotel was amazing. I loved the decor. The floors not having carpet was a surprise but wasn't terrible. Tons of places to walk to for food. The incidental charges are crazy expensive but overall I really enjoyed my stay.

Typical Austin style hotel, modern decor, concrete flors and sealing. We were unlucky to get a room on the second floor, with outdoor restaurant behind our windows. For privacy, windows are painted white, so we could see only sky. No coffee maker in the room. Minibar, expensive. At departure time we asked for a later check out at the front desk, the immediate answer was no.
