We recently stayed at the Core Amalfitano City Suites and loved our stay. Luigi was very helpful working up to our stay when we had questions and was quick to respond. Luigi also helped arrange a car to drive us from the Naples airport to Amalfi. The car service was a good price, on-time, spacious, and the driver was very friendly. We did add breakfast to our stay and I'd recommend it. I was a bit worried at first because included breakfast can be small, but this was a menu service at the little restaurant next to the hotel. The restaurant had a special menu for Core Amalfitano Suites with lots of options to chose from. The food and service was great. When we arrived, Assunta met us at the terminal parking where cars can drop off and coordinated the bag service. Assunta and all the staff were so friendly all trip. They even had a little welcome gift for our 7 month old. We booked the suite and stayed in the Positano room. It was very spacious especially for rooms in Europe (rooms tend to be smaller). They had a crib ready for us and it was great to have the extra space when he went to bed earlier. The Positano room shares a beautiful deck that faces the water (each room has roped off area with table/chairs). I thought it might be loud with the tour buses and ferries, but the room is very sound-proofed. There were fireworks the first night and we were amazed at the volume difference inside vs. outside. The jacuzzi tub is amazing and fits 2. It is a tub and not a hot tub, so we asked to have it refilled to be hot. The staff would refill it each day for us. The location (especially with a baby and a stroller) was wonderful. We took ferries to other towns a couple days and navigated with bags/baby/stroller/etc. The town is very walkable with a baby compared to Positano (day trip definitely recommended). I liked staying close to everything because of the baby, but it is busier since it is so close to transport and the town center. If you do have a stroller, there are a few steps into the hotel. Overall, we had a wonderful time & the staff were lovely. The location was perfect for our family. The hotel is smaller so you really get wonderful service.

Ho avuto la fortuna di soggiornare in questo bellissimo hotel dal 23/8/23 al 27/8/23 e mi sono trovata benissimo!!! Il proprietario è gentilissimo e cerca sempre di andare incontro al cliente... L'hotel è in posizione centrale, le camere sono arredate con mobili antichi, hanno smart TV grande, wi fi, aria condizionata, letti e cuscini comodissimi e terrazzino vista mare... C'è anche il servizio bagagli!!! La colazione è internazionale latte,caffè, succhi, ottimo dolci freschi e dei cornetti buonissimi... Salumi e formaggi di qualità e molto altro... Tant'è che ho fatto anche i panini per il mare!!! È stato bello soggiornare in questo hotel, lo consiglio vivamente 💗

Hotel Fontana El hotel está situado en una zona de 3 estrellas. El hotel está muy bien situado y es muy útil. El hotel está situado en el centro de Amalfi . Y ofrece una buena vista de la iglesia y el restaurante en la calle. Recomiendo muy bien este hotel.

We couldn't have asked for a better hotel. It's unassuming from the outside but when you walk in it is so beautiful. Decorated in a unique style and such interesting pieces to look at. The staff were so friendly and so helpful made us feel so welcome. The room was decent size, bed comfy and a little balcony area we could see the beach. It literally is right in the middke of town across from the beach, shops, cathedral, marina the perfect location. The breakfast was in a gorgeous spot overlooking the water, and our breakfast was included and you order off a menu which I liked. Some breakfast buffet items. We have been travelling for 5 weeks and stayed in many hotels and this has been my favourite. Highly recommend and if we are lucky enough to return in the future this is where we will stay.

El hotel tiene una vista magnífica. Está junto al mar. El estacionamiento es pequeño y debe programar una cita con anticipación. ¡Por supuesto, se cobra por el estacionamiento! El desayuno es bastante rico. Hay una playa para nadar. Se cobró 15 euros para dos personas.

景色がとっても綺麗でスタッフもフレンドリーに対応してくださいました！ お部屋も広くてベッドメイキングも丁寧でドライヤーもしっかりしてました。シャワーの温度、水量も問題なく快適でした。 Thank you for your nice services and memoriable stay in Amalfy! We really enjoyed staying here for 2nights!

My husband and I stayed for a week at Grand Hotel Excelsior and had an amazing time! It's situated in the cliffs high above Amalfi, which was actually great to get away from the crowds. The view was unmatched and amazing to wake up to every morning. The shuttle service was easy to use and goes back and forth to the town quite frequently. We never had any issues. The front desk staff was very helpful with any questions we had. Breakfast was great, they had a good selection of food and everything was very tasty. We had dinner there once and the food was decent, but you'd be better off going into town for dinner. The drinks at the bar were also great, and we got a charcuterie snack one night which was wonderful. I've seen a lot of comments that the beds were too hard, but we found it quite comfortable. We had a great stay!

My wife and I were overwhelmed, grateful and sad leaving this amazing resort. The unlimited generosity of the staff with the sole purpose of making sure that our stay was unforgettable. They went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and pampered and therefore we want to thank Maurizio the owner, Alfonso,Lorenzo, Alesia and Maria at the reception, Lucio and Chiara the concierges and Stefano the Maitre, Manuela, Roberto and Ileana for their hospitality at the Alici restaurant as well as Marcela, Italia, Nicola, Marco and Andrea at breakfast. The delightful breakfast which is included in the rate offers multiple alternatives, great fruits, home made breads, grissinis and coffee. The food was delicious at the restaurants and since we are vegetarians we were offered excellent alternatives. The Borgo Santandrea is a monument to good taste and refinement. Our room had a balcony with a magnificent view of the Mediterranean and the linens as well as the bathroom’s Acqua di Parma amenities were excellent. Thank you all for making our visit so remarkable!

We arrived on Sunday 22/10/23 with limited expectations, the hotel had a Wedding in progress and this made check in at most casual, initial impressions were ok décor looked traditional and clean, The room 204, that's where it all went down hill, room was small and bland. a small TV hung on the wall, a fridge was in the cupboard below which didn't seem to work and was supposed to be stocked, it wasn't, it was empty, walls were scuffed and could have done with a lick of paint. The bathroom was small and had an over bath shower with usual facilities, the bath needed the sealant replaced around the whole bath, the shower blind was a bit dated and grim the underside of it was not clean. I'm afraid it wasn't inviting, quite the opposite, needed updating. The door to the balcony was new and worked well, when you get outside you see this hotels appeal being 600m Above Sea Level the views are breath-taking. Bed was hard as stone like sleeping on a mortuary slab, not that I've ever done that and i actually slept quite well. my wife however wasn't as pleased, we enquired about a topper at reception, the language barrier did get in the way but we thought we'd got through, alas we didn't get the topper. we had one meal in the hotel which was ok. Breakfast was served on level -1 a large soulless room, normal continental fair ham, cheese, bread, hard boiled eggs some limp lettuce, no cereal to speak of, yogurt tea and American Coffee. Not exactly well presented but ok. my wife is a coeliac(gluten free) and the staff provided gluten free products, on the Wednesday morning and i can only assume that as there were only 5 people in the hotel breakfast was served in the ground floor restaurant, which was better, and had great views, breakfast was served at the table. There was a bar but it was not well stocked or manned. 2x G&T's £8 parking was ok a bit tight but ok. The hotel is in the hamlet of Agerola which has limited restaurants and bars we had drinks at Madame in the square and at the bar across the road when the aforementioned was shut, we had a meal in the next village along, which was also small and only had one or two restaurants that we could find. Not exactly buzzing but very pretty and it was October, also bear in mind the temperature is 3-4 degs lower than the coast, Also it takes about an hour to get to the coast, round some tight bendy mountain roads, if your a nervous driver might not be the place for you. We left a day early and moved to Pompeii as he weather was not good, and we wanted to get nearer to Naples, paid the bill which included a local tax! I'm sure was included on the original booking but i may be wrong, worth watching out for. This hotel is very pretty and traditional the staff are friendly and helpful, it has the potential, to be a good hotel, public rooms are modern and clean but they need a bit of fine tuning, Room/s need modernizing. Overall we had a pleasant stay.
