Our experience was excellent from the minute we entered the hotel. Every single associate was upbeat, friendly, and helpful. Our room had a sofa, desk, microwave, TV, coffee maker, small frig. and terrific bed. Bathroom was roomy, clean and even had a night light. We even had dinner in the dining/social area...we shared 3 large and yummy appetizers and a bottle of wine. Breakfast was made to order, not self-made waffles and kept-warm eggs...nice surprise to start the day. There was even a small ”store” with single serve wines, microwaveable meals, snacks...and a full bar. I was ready to move in!

I enjoyed this hotel for its spaciousness and it's bathtub. So many hotels now don't provide bathtubs and I'm just not a shower girl. We could not find an ice machine. The rooms are suites with a full refrigerator in them. However our ice in the fridge was turned off, so it took a long while to get any ice. When we got in our room, it was freezing inside. I had to sit on the couch with my jacket on and the extra blanket on me to get warm. It finally warmed up.

The hotel is conveniently located near UF and offers free parking, which is a definite plus. However, the property is in desperate need of renovations. The rooms are outdated, musty, and not very clean. The bathroom vent was particularly disgusting. The hallway carpet was filthy, and the pool was poorly maintained, with leaves and black algae visible at the bottom. As a big fan of Hilton hotels, I always prefer them over other chains, but I found the quality of this hotel far below Hilton's usual standards. I have stayed here before and recall a great breakfast buffet, but now the breakfast selection is limited and overpriced. While the service at the main bar was excellent, it was sad to see pieces of the ceiling falling off. Additionally, the front desk personnel were cold and unhelpful. As a Hilton Honors member, I requested my complimentary water bottles but never received them. I was told they were in my room, but they weren't. See attached pictures for further details.

GREAT SERVICE, GREAT LOCATION… After having the WORSE experience in the Hampton Inn few minutes before from the one at downtown Gainesville . This one change the bad experience into a Great one as normal Hilton experience, when we arrived the front desk attendant was VERY Welcoming with a smile and Super nice…. After me asking for a room she immediately asked if we were Hilton Honor Members and we told her YES..We were VERY tired and Very happy we found this Hotel…In the morning after having a Great breakfast (fresh and great taste). At checkout the front desk attendant was VERY Nice with a smile.. We are definitely coming back to this location..LOVE THE EXPERIENCE….

Muy bien. Había que llamar algunas veces debido al ruido sobre nosotros a las 1100pm. También la piscina estaba congelada. Necesito un calefactor. El bar de desayuno caliente era increíble con gran servicio.
