Villa Lekythos

Siamo stati al Lekythos alla metà di Agosto per 3 notti. In verità struttura, camera, servizio e dintorni li abbiamo trovati di estremamente deludenti in relazione soprattutto al prezzo pagato. La colazione appena sufficiente con un offerta davvero minimale, la camera era decisamente piccola e scomoda (la definizione SUITE fa sorridere e poi la vista mare si ma a 15 km, col binocolo), il sito dove la struttura è ubicata non ha alcuna rilevanza ma anzi la strada per arrivarci è sconnessa, orribile e molto sporca (come molte altre peraltro attorno a Agrigento e non solo in Sicilia quest'anno). La gestione è carina ma niente di più. Considerate che per la stessa cifra che abbiamo pagato in questa struttura abbiamo soggiornato in Hotel 5 stelle in centro a Palermo. Trovo che non ci sia alcuna giustificazione per richiedere prezzi del genere se non la speculazione. Abbiamo inoltre riscontrato che subito dopo il nostro soggiorno gli stessi prezzi erano dimezzati. Ce ne siamo andati con la sensazione di essere stati derubati. Giudizio decisamente molto negativo nel complesso rispetto al prezzo pagato. Consiglierei ai gestori di rivedere di parecchio il listino prezzi delle camere e forse chiedere la metà sarebbe appena adeguato. Sconsigliato!

A very beautiful villa to stay for a week-end, convenient for visiting the valley of the temples. They suggested Sergio as a guide to the valley, a cultured and passionate person. the stay was relaxing. Very nice room with a view of the valley. The staff is young, very helpful.

Precise location from host. Couldn’t imagine such exquisite stay in this location. Super helpful staff, even come back to give us kettle at 8pm. Breakfast has great selection and friendly staff

Villa Lekythos is an oasis! The property is a garden filled with a variety of local plants and pathways. The swimming pool area is relaxing, inviting and quiet. The pool is great for starting or ending one’s day. The breakfasts display local produce and delicious baking and lovely specialty items. The staff is marvellous, very hospitable and thoughtful in their interactions. The rooms are fantastic with its decor, facilities, the views, and storage. Very modern in approach while highlighting local features. So much pride has gone into developing this welcoming and beautiful villa! We were very happy staying here! Thank you!

Peaceful and quiet, I’m in a beautiful location close to Agrigento and the valley of the temples

I recently stayed at Villa Lekythos and was truly captivated by the stunning outdoor and pool area. However, while the rooms were decent, a little more attention to detail could elevate the experience. The breakfast was satisfactory, though there's room for enhancement in terms of service and variety. The language barrier seemed to contribute to some confusion during breakfast, and the plastic chairs on the terrace were quite uncomfortable compared to the luxurious poolside seating. What disappointed me was the presence of two kittens on the property. Despite the staff's efforts to shush them, the kittens seemed neglected and relied on pool water for hydration. Guests even shared their own food to help them. Having experienced thoughtful treatment of cats at other properties in Sicily and in general, even very luxury properties such as Belmond in JAR, I suggest Villa Lekythos consider providing better care for these feline companions. On a positive note, the property's location is excellent, conveniently close to the center of Agrigento.

Exceptional property with wonderful views of the coast in the distance and trees in the grounds. Extremely quiet and lovely traditional farm house but with modern decoration and quality fixtures and fittings. Bed was so comfortable offering a wonderful nights sleep. Host was very knowledgable and provided good guidance of the local area and valley of the temples. Finally breakfast with home made items was absolutely delicious. Can not fault this property at all as everything has been well thought through to offer visitors a unique and comfortable stay.
