Mistral Bay Hotel

Muchas gracias a todo el personal del hotel, en especial a Tatiana, por el ambiente amable, familiar, cálido y acogedor que hizo que nuestra estancia fuera inolvidable. Salimos del hotel con tristeza y muchas ganas de volver aquí lo antes posible. Tatiana, muchas gracias por tu cálida bienvenida.

Mistral Bay Hotel Agios Nikolaos Miserable mistral 919007816 Turned up about 22.30 so not that late.greeted by a not so helpful person at the desk.asked about refreshments as it's all inclusive (not sure the understand the meaning) Said we could have 1 sandwich and drink each. The cardboard box it came in would of been more appealing . Rock hard bed. Imagine when opening the curtains the following morning onto a building site and a slim side view of the sea. Ask at the desk to.be moved very rude women tried to tell us that it Was a sea view and not a side sea view.i showed her my booking and it states sea view.after alot of rudeness from her she changed our room.so now we have a sea view what we paid for. Tiny room . Balcony is not fit for purpose .2 plastic chairs and a tiny table .you cantbsit out as the air con unit takes up alot of space and hot air.so that's a waste of time. Funny smell in the room we later found out was the mould in the air con unit .as you can see in the pic. The only Greek item of food on the menu all week was the yogurt at breakfast. Coffee wasn't filtered it was instant. Food looked like slop. Only ever tepid. The swimming pool was no bigger than a plunge pool .and the description pool surrounded by sun beds .had to surrounded when it was inclosed on 3 sides.a cigarette butt had been in there for 2 days never saw it cleaned and never smelt chlorine. One morning I asked for ice about 9am and was told no ice daily until after 11am when it's delivered. Never saw any cake for afternoon tea only a small bowl of biscuits . Roof top bar was never open when it was meant to be. By 15.00 one afternoon I rang down to see if it was going to be open and was told it is .it wasn't and he never arrived until 15.30.no apologies just shrugged. He was always sat drinking beer and smoking and couging over everything . He wouldn't give you a drink unless you had your glass.he refused to serve anyone that didn't have there glass.all inclusive. I don't think so .bar closed at 22.30 you had to pay for you drinks after 22.00. Filthy dirty shower on the roof top and shabby decor. Dust at reception on the first day still there when we left. Staff running after guests to cut off the all inclusive arm band .and told YOU DO NOT GET ANY MORE FOOD OR DRINKS. we left on our check out day in the morning and didn't get the transport which we had already paid for we just didn't want to be there a minute longer than had to. On the last day a new family arrived with 2 children about 14 both vaping .not a good look for the hotel. IF YOU HAVE READ THIS PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE.YOU ARE IN FOR A WHOLE WORLD OF DISAPPOINTMENT AND MISERY .

A bit disappointed in this place but the area it's in saved it for me. The apparent seaview rooms basically don't exist anymore thanks to the new hotel being built next door yet they still advertise it as such. The food was awful and repetitive. If you go here I would recommend you plan on spending money elsewhere for food and drinks. Although the breakfast was bearable. Staff seemed lovely, room was alright too. Saving grace is there are 3 lovely beaches within walking distance and plenty beautiful restaurants and shops.

The hotel was located in the perfect part of Crete surrounded by the town with bars and shops and lots of beaches near by. The hotel room was not advised the way it was in the pictures, it was small with hardly much room to move especially on the balcony. The food was awful, there was nothing at all to choose from, same again each day and not a big place to sit in either, we had to eat out most of our trip. The pool was tiny and it was not a place to sit and chill we spent our whole holiday on the nearby beach and paid for loungers. The downstairs bar was hardly open and the upstairs rooftop bar was nice but you could only choose from beer and wine and you had to pay for the cocktails or mixtures! Wasn’t the best hotel but Crete was absolutely lovely

The 24-hour reception desk ensured a warm welcome anytime. The main restaurant delighted my taste buds with a rich variety of Mediterranean and Cretan specialities, including delicious vegetarian dishes. The rooftop bar, adorned with sunbeds and umbrellas, offered a perfect spot to unwind with stunning views. Friendly staff, delectable cuisine, and a rooftop spot made my experience truly best.

6 flights of stairs to get to hotel. Only 8 choices of food , mostly rice, potato and pasta, all cold AI finished at 10 , entertainment once a week. Pool is tiny and very cold . Very clean rooms, lots of building work going on next door, noisy………..

Had a great time at mistral bay. The staff were great. Especially Tanzil & Anthony who even gave me good advice after something occurred during my time in Crete. I can’t thank them enough. The hotel itself is a right by the sea and all restaurants and bars are a 5 minute walk down the coastline.
