I had a pleasant stay with my friends for 7 days. The price was so good that we decided to have our own room for each of us. The size is decent, I could wide open my large luggage without any trouble walking around the room. The location is not bad, like 10mins walk from the JR Sendai Station, and quite close to the most popular restaurants in Sendai.

Sendai has become my second favorite city in Japan. It offers the perfect blend of chill and urban vibes — not as crowded as Tokyo, Osaka, or Sapporo, yet equally lively and enjoyable. This capsule hotel is located right along the main business street, making it very convenient for dining and shopping. There’s even an Ichiran Ramen just next door, and a famous Taiyaki shop only a 2–3 minute walk away. Sendai Station is about a 10-minute walk from the property. However, one downside is the confusing luggage policy. The hotel rules state that large luggage cannot be brought into the sleeping area, so I rented a chain lock (JPY 100) to secure my suitcase in the hallway. Despite this, many guests still brought their bags inside, so the rule seemed inconsistently enforced. For guests like me who followed the policy, it was a bit inconvenient since my capsule was quite far from the hallway and it was troublesome to retrieve my belongings each time.

5〜6回利用してますが、いつ行っても清潔感あり、接客がいい。言葉遣いが丁寧かつ、お客様側を絶対に不快な思いさせない話し方が徹底されていて安心できる。 今回初めてたまにはだれにも干渉されないでゆっくり温泉旅したかったので素泊まりにしました。(前回まで親友と二人で朝食夕食つきプラン) こういう泊まり方もリーズナブルで接客に安心感ありますので今後も秋保温泉では他の旅館には行かず蘭亭にします。 還暦を迎え、あと何回行けるかわかりませんが、、。 本当にありがとうございました。

The hotel service was good. The lobby was grand and beautiful. On the contrary, the rooms were a bit old. The onsen was great. I tried both the new and old onsen. I personally liked the old one and is has a more Japanese taste. The new one is too modern. The onsen water really made my skin softer. The buffet meals were great. Overall good value for money.

La ubicación de ryokan es excelente. Mi habitación tiene una enorme ventana de fotos enfrente del este. Puede ver la famosa bahía con muchas islas, incluida la isla Fukura (Fuji 𡷊), en la mañana con maravillosa vista al sol. El desayuno japonés fue excelente, especialmente el del segundo día... pescado fresco grilado, etc... las cenas de Kaiseki para ambas noches fueron maravillosas con pescado fresco grilado y carne de vacuno de alta calidad vagyu más ostera cocida para la perfección. Los Onsens, por otro lado, son justo Okay. Sin embargo, con la vista de la isla de Fukura y su puente rojo ... nice.

La habitación del hotel está impecable. La cena y el desayuno son tipo buffet. La comida es bastante normal. La comida no impresiona. Si buscas buena comida japonesa en un hotel con onsen, este definitivamente no es una opción. El onsen público es espacioso y sin buenas vistas. Reservé un baño privado, pero era malo, pequeño y completamente interior, ¡sin vistas! No recomiendo pagar más por el baño privado. Perdí la llave de mi habitación dentro del hotel y me cobraron 10.000 yenes en efectivo. Creo que el precio por la pérdida de una llave es irrazonablemente alto. El personal del hotel no habla inglés. Es muy difícil comunicarse con ellos. Cuando me comunico con el personal en inglés, me responden en japonés y la mayoría de las veces no me ofrecen la ayuda adecuada. En general, no fue una estancia agradable. Por favor, considera otro hotel de la zona cuando veas esta reseña.

The hotel is clean and tidy. It’s unfortunate that the weather is really bad on the day of my arrival. So I’m basically forced to stay at the hotel and enjoy the hot spring. It’s also really great that they provide free ice pop outside the hot spring and coffee downstairs.

The location is fanastic. It is close to Sendai JR Station, Sendai Morning Market and shopping streets. It is especially important given we have 2 ninety-year-old ladies in our group. Breakfast was great. The dining hall was of Art Deco design. It had a mixture of western and Japanese dishes. The amount was plentiful and quality was good. The onsen was free. There were jacuzzi and old water bath. It is pity that there was no open air bath. We would consider a return if we happen to come back to Sendai.
