El hotel era económico y limpio, con mucho espacio, suficiente para tres maletas. Tenía zonas húmedas y secas separadas, y el baño público de la azotea estaba bien, excepto en horas punta, cuando había mucha gente. La ubicación era excelente, justo al lado de un mercado de mariscos. El personal del hotel también fue muy amable.

Rooms (3/5): For a family of 3 the room was relatively spacious and had no trouble handling us and our luggage. There is a decent amount of wall plugs with 2 in the room and a third in the seating area. They also give an extension cable with 2 sockets and 2 usb ports. The toilet is spacious and the bath is decent in size. Overall atmosphere of the room was calm and relaxing. Service (4/5): Service was exceptional, the receptionist introduced the hotel to us well and they had several pamphlet guides from how to wear a yukata to how to behave in an onsen and several others which was nice to havw. When leaving the onsen by car, they also wave until you are out of sight which is a small cherry on the top. Facilities (4/5): They have 2 onsens, mens and ladies which alternate daily. I only had the joy of trying one of them which was lovely and had a small cold bath outside which is a plus in my book. In the mainlobby they also have free flow non alcoholic drinks through a dispenser, having hot drinks like tea and coffee and cold calpis, coke, sprite, orange juice and water. Had a nice time after the onsen grabbing something sweet and cold then sitting in the lounge to cool off. Food (3/5): The dinner was lovely. They served a variety of food with the steamed horse mackeral standing out (this is coming from a person who does not like fish that is cooked besides when its battered). The seaweed and miso based paste also went lovely with the rice. Breakfast was also decent but nothing outstanding besides the pudding at the end. Overall 3.5/5: If you want to be out of the hustle and bustle of the city and just really want to kick back and relax this is the place to be. For me, this Ryokan is worth visiting again if I ever pass by. Nothing extremely exceptional but overall enjoyable experience.

The hotel is old and the room is clean but not well cleaned especially the corners of the room. The room is old and dull and the toilet smells bad. The balcony is covered with bamboo screen which make hard to see the outside. We can see the balcony is not well cleaned and the rooftop of the building is not well cleaned, too. If they clean the balcony and rooftop it will make a big difference. The fence at the balcony is worn out if they repainted it,it will be very beautiful seeing from the inside. I dont care if the building is old but they should keep it well cleaned and more presentable and im sure people will come again. The food is good and the bathing facilities is also good but its too hot no air at all, i didnt stay long because i cant breath i wish they open the window for fresh air to come. the atmosphere from the window the dried mold of the rooftop and the worn out of the balcony fence should be fix.The place is very quiet and you can really relax.The main entrance and ground floor is renovated and its nice and modern. The service is good too but the clerks are not lively they should be more cheerful. If the room is not dull and the balcony and rooftop is clean i want to stay again but sorry i wont stay here again. No podía ayudar, pero se sintió un poco engañado. Queríamos pagar por una actualización, para conseguir uno con ángeles en el cuarto, pero se les dijo que todo estaba totalmente reservado. :( por lo tanto, tenga cuidado al reservar el tipo de habitación deseado.

Nuestro alojamiento en Morino Sumika fue maravilloso. Este hotel es probablemente uno de los mejores Hoteles (Ryokan) que hemos estado en Japón. Estamos tan impresionados con su servicio. El personal es amable y responsivo a pesar de la barrera lingüística. Nos quedamos en una habitación con baño abierto con balcón mirando al jardín de la colina y al hotel mismo. La arquitectura es increíblemente hermosa. Las habitaciones son espaciosas y más grandes de lo que esperaba. El diseño de la habitación es grande. Nos sorprende mucho el hotel y todo lo que queremos pasar en el hotel en lugar de salir. El hotel está a unos 5 km de la estación Kagaonsen en la zona llamada Yamashiro Onsen. Ofrecen servicio de navegación que les contactamos por correo electrónico. Yamashiro Onsen es muy agradable y tranquilo. FYI... La estación Kagaonsen está a 20 minutos a pie de Kanazawa por Hokurik Shinkansen... muy conveniente...

This a traditional Japanese onsen hotel that was built in a historical building with 230 tears old. The ambience is super nice as you can immense yourself in the authentic traditional ryokan style with hospitality. The service is impeccable. The only drawback is the outdoor onsen is too small and not literally outdoor.

Excellent onsen hotel in quiet yet popular location .. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Taiku drums nightly show was fun and great draw for families with kids. We stayed on a very busy weekend and hotel’s breakfast and dinner were fully booked. NTL the hotels casual restaurant was very good, menu and price wise; also excellent location to see the drum show . Easy walking distance (5-10 minutes) to Main Street of Yamashiro, tho not in middle of it. Free drinks and snacks in lounge very pleasant. Free shuttle bus to KagaOnsen station is popular . Most thankful to hotel’s customers service in answering a few requests we made within 24 hours prior to check-in. Except for meals which were fully booked , they catered for our requests, and with prompt emails communication. Would highly recommend hotel Rurikoh , when visiting Yamashiro.

Hotel estupendo. Nuevo, moderno, con todo detalle. Habitación estupenda con futones y edredones comodisimos, onsen maravilloso con salida al exterior, piedras, maderas, sauna, bañera fría, y todo tipo de detalles,  experiencia inmejorable. Cena y desayuno tipo buffet con todo tipo de comida japonesa y occidental. Zona de juegos para disfrutar y reírse un rato.  Tranquilo, y acogedor. Solamente el cuarto de baño de la habitación estaba bastante anticuado, nada que ver con todo el resto del hotel, pero sinceramente, fue lo de menos. Lo recomiendo mucho para recargar fuerzas.

The carpet in the room was old and stained. What concerned me most was the appearance of blood stains on the drapes. This was very unpleasant and fell below my standards of cleanliness. In addition, the A/C did not work. A staff member brought a fan, but the room was still hot. I appreciate the quick response, but this was inadequate due to the price of the room. The staff were very kind, courteous, and helpful throughout my stay. The shuttle bus service to Kanazawa Station was very useful. The location was very convenient to local attractions as Kanazawa Castle, Kenroku-en, and the river area around Asano River. Because of the excellent staff and the convenient location, I am giving this hotel 3 stars.

Regardless, we proactively requested not to prefer to eat beef for religious reasons. However, I was still informed that the hotel policy cannot make any adjustments for anyone. What a joke that you can have more rice! Is this a policy for human beings? Another interesting fact to note is that there is no additional food order option, even if you want to select food options, as long as you are willing to pay for them. What a brand! Overall, I would not recommend anyone with a food allergy, as it may cause an unwelcome experience during your stay. I stayed for 2 nights and had a total of 4 meals for USD 1,400+. I don't think it's worth the money.
