An excellent place to stay, even if just overnight. The hotel was easy to get to, with the shuttle bus running on a tight schedule. The staff were very attentive, friendly, and welcoming without feeling overbearing and were easily able to meet all our needs. The hot springs were very accessible and very romantic, and excellent in the snow. The food was amazing, with the service again being excellent, and the complimentary ice cream was very yummy. Will be easily considering staying again should I return to Japan. 11/10.

Es un hotel bastante impresionante. Aunque se encuentre lejos Pero el hotel dispone de servicio de transporte. La habitación seleccionada es una habitación de estilo japonés. El interior está muy bien, excelente, pero el área del pasillo huele bastante a cigarrillo. El onsen es hermoso y tiene todas las instalaciones. También hay una sala para leer cómics.

La ubicación geográfica excelente está justo en frente de Yubatake. La ducha, el baño y la cara de la habitación son muy pequeños porque son muy viejos, pero la cena de bife y la ama de la cama son deliciosos. No sé cuándo el estacionamiento tiene el último autobús, así que llegué después de que llegara el último vuelo, pero recibí un vuelo especial y lo cargaré seguro en el hotel. La próxima vez que quiero ir a pasear en el paseo, así que puedo llegar más temprano.

My stay at Kamenoi Hotel Kusatsu was excellent. The onsen was very clean and quite spacious, making it a relaxing experience. The hotel also has a convenient shortcut that leads directly to the Yubatake pedestrian area, which is a big plus. Both breakfast and dinner were buffet-style with a wide variety of dishes — plenty of options and all very enjoyable. The service was great, and the room was comfortable to sleep in. The only downside is that there were a bit too few power outlets in the room, but it wasn’t a major problem. Overall, a fantastic stay and highly recommended for anyone visiting Kusatsu.

A relax and nice view in Kusatsu. The hotel is located a bit far from bus terminal. However, there is a free shuttle bus service which connected with bus service. I strongly encourage the private onsen package where we can taste three different type of onsen in the hotel. My platinum ring changed colour, may be due to the acidity of onsen water😂. The dinner and breakfast inspired and it is good for family trip with a number of accessible service for elderly with physically limitations.

Estaba cerca de la terminal de autobuses y del río Yubatake, así que podía ir y venir caminando fácilmente. La habitación era espaciosa, pero antigua, por lo que oía pasos y otros ruidos, lo cual me resultó bastante desagradable. Solo cuatro personas podían usar el baño a la vez. El personal fue muy atento.

3 different types of onsen , amazing breakfast with huge selection of food, amazing spacious rooms with an amazing view of the river. Only spent 1 night here but would’ve easily stayed another if we had time. The building is well maintained and the onsen was so good I had 3 sessions even though we were only here for 1 night. Very nice Japanese style room overlooking the river and the tree filled riverbank hill. It was very private. Breakfast and dinner was served at the table and was excellent. Much variety of fish, chicken, pork, tofu, and vegetables. The overall atmosphere was very elegant and relaxed. The ryokan is located right on one of the bus stops for easy access from the train station. It is a short 10 minute walk to the main area of town. There are several onsen pools. Some rotate between men and women at different hours. Very clean with good amenities. Overall a very memorable stay.

酒店非常豪華，可能是我住過最豪華的温泉酒店了。從進入大堂就被驚艷，房間和各處設施也都非常寬敞高級，居住體驗極其舒適。出酒店走十分鐘左右就能到草津湯畑，晚上特別漂亮，值得體驗。早晚餐都是自助形式，餐品口味非常好。以酒店的標準評價，這家能拿滿分。 但想提一點建議。作為温泉酒店，考慮到酒店房間特別多，住客量也特別大，相比之下温泉池數量少，池子也不夠大，也沒有私湯，這就導致温泉池總是很多人，泡湯體驗不夠好，匹配不上酒店的其他部分。如果能多開幾個私湯，或者公共浴池再大一點，環境再豐富一點，可能會更好。
