Very nice and beautiful hotel, built with high-quality materials and a great design. However, my biggest disappointment was that a 5-star hotel did not provide complimentary water in the room, instead selling it for $4.50 per bottle. This is especially surprising in Costa Rica, considering that the room costs over $1000 per night. It feels quite disappointing and even greedy that they are unwilling to meet basic international standards of service. In my opinion, the management should take inspiration from hotels in Asia and the Middle East, where guest service is often much more thoughtful and complete. I felt that instead of providing small essentials as part of the service, they were trying to charge extra for everything, which negatively affected the overall experience.

Amazing Stay with Fantastic Hot Springs and Waterslides! We had an incredible time at this beautiful hotel! The hot springs were a true highlight—relaxing and rejuvenating, with breathtaking views. The waterslides added a fun and adventurous twist to our stay. The property itself is stunning and well-maintained, with a serene and inviting atmosphere. The only downside was the lack of dryers anywhere on the property, which meant we had to take some damp clothes with us on the plane. However, this was a minor inconvenience compared to the overall experience. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to our friends. If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway with unique amenities, this place is a fantastic choice!

We had a wonderful experience with Casa Luna! The hotel property is beautiful with an amazing garden. Room was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was delicious! The hotel staff are very nice and ready to help. One night we were walking in the garden, we ran into a hotel security, Dimas (hope I got the name right). We asked about animals. Dimas right away gave us a tour and showed us so many animals! We saw sloth, snake, frogs (including the green one), alligator, fresh water crab...all in the hotel garden!!! The garden is a paradise. Inside the hotel property, all we could hear was the sounds of insects, frogs, birds... We are so happy that we stayed at Casa Luna!

The staff were all great, especially all the restaurant staff. I especially appreciated the hotel making special arrangements to celebrate my birthday. However, some of the shortfalls included the very slow and inconsistent WIFI at our building (500), the bathroom door couldn’t be kept closed, and the in room jacuzzi never got hot. But on the positive note, the in room AC was very good, the room, bathroom and shower were spacious and had hot water. P.S. I was underwhelmed by my undercooked tomahawk during dinner.

El lugar es increíble, El personal magnífico!!! Juan José y su equipo de trabajo son espectaculares: Amables, Atentos. La comida Exquisita, Mucha variedad y las habitaciones muy bien equipadas. Sin duda alguna esperamos volver pronto

Excelente albergue. Servicio de atención al cliente excepcional en todos los departamentos. Servicio personalizado y amigable. Elección de restaurante excelente. Habitaciones y instalaciones excelentes. Inexcelentes en todos los niveles.

The Lodge was so amazing and the staff was so friendly. Includes a free breakfast that is fantastic, a clean room, and is located right in La Fortuna but away from the most touristy areas.

Hotel ubicado cerca de la Catarata La Fortuna y del sendero al Cerro Chatota (lago donde alguna vez estuvo el cráter de un volcán). Excelente opción para aquellos que quieran seguir el sendero, ya que los no huéspedes deben pagar una tarifa de 15 dólares para ingresar a la propiedad (el sendero comienza dentro de los terrenos del hotel). El sendero no es para todos, el nivel de dificultad es alto. Habitaciones antiguas pero funcionales. Personal amable y servicial.
