初入酒店園區平平無奇，辦完入住走進後發現太不一般。酒店裡真是別有洞天，先時入住主題房，獨立的小城堡的感覺，小孩很喜歡，大人也很驚喜。 酒店服務也非常到位，還有管家提前聯繫，聯繫我的是管家小諾，熱情細心！ 酒店設備衹能給到夯，不出酒店玩三天可以不重樣，酒店靠樂園很近，玩一天都很快樂 騎馬、冰雪世界、漂流都有，吃飯也很方便且不踩雷。強烈推薦，下次有空再來！

Overall, this was a good stay with some truly special aspects, but also a few areas that could be improved. The hotel is quite remote, which makes it feel very private and peaceful, surrounded by nature such as the lake, forest, and mountains. Even though we visited other viewpoints around Qiandao Lake, this location felt more special because of its quiet and secluded setting. The hotel itself feels like a destination, with scenic viewpoints, a garden with a lake, a cave, and even trekking trails to explore. The garden area includes a swan lake, which is a nice idea. However, the swans are kept in a very small netted space. It does not look great visually and feels restrictive for the animals, which took away from the experience. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a very comfortable bed that was not too soft or too hard. Sound insulation was excellent, which made for great sleep. I also requested a firmer pillow, and it was provided quickly. The lake view room upgrade was a highlight. The view was stunning and made it hard to leave the room. If you stay here, I would strongly recommend booking a lake view room. The layout was nice, with both a balcony and a window view. The thick frame dividing the view slightly affected the overall feel, but it was not a major issue. The bathtub was also a nice addition. Cleaning was good overall. The AC did not work very well during the hot midday hours, although it was fine at other times of the day. Facilities such as the gym, yoga room, pool, and game room were nice additions. However, they felt quite standard for a five-star hotel, and I have experienced better quality in similar properties. One great feature was the free Tesla charging, but this was not communicated at all. We only discovered it by chance, which is a missed opportunity as it is a strong benefit. Breakfast was acceptable but not at the expected level. The coffee and bakery were the weakest parts. Ordering is done via QR code instead of in person, which felt a bit impersonal for a luxury hotel atmosphere. Service during breakfast also felt a bit off, as staff seemed focused on their tasks and were not very proactive in guiding or prioritizing guests, which made the experience feel less warm and not the kindest. Service was generally kind and friendly, but inconsistent at times. Some staff could benefit from additional training, as not everyone followed typical five-star service standards such as greeting guests or offering priority. Another disappointment was the welcome fruit, which was included in our package but not provided on arrival. After we asked, a staff member came carrying items for multiple rooms in a bag and handed us just one apple and one peach. This felt unprofessional although something very small. Another point worth noting is that the hotel was originally booked as an InterContinental, but about 1-2 weeks before arrival it was no longer part of the brand (somehow on Trip.com it still says intercontinental). Not sure if this impacted the experience, but overall it did feel slightly below what you might expect from that level, even though the stay itself was still enjoyable. The hotel also offers free Tesla charging, which is a great feature. However, this was not communicated at all during or before our stay, and we only discovered it by chance. This feels like a missed opportunity, as it is a strong benefit that could add significant value for guests I did not try lunch or dinner, so I cannot comment on those. Overall, this is a very peaceful and unique stay with amazing natural surroundings and a beautiful lake view. However, some service and operational details need improvement to truly match a luxury standard.

Travelers beware! The photos advertising Ke Gamer do not resemble to actual room and the food is horrible. I opted to upgrade to the private hot spring villa for close to 4000rmb a night expecting a high class experience but was instead highly disappointed! We arrived on a Saturday and reserved a table at the restaurant, famished from traveling and expecting a wonderful meal. They did not mention that this was a set menu (only for the package that was included with the room) so there was no option to select my dishes nor to explain our gluten free diet. First bread came (couldn’t eat it, gluten) then a mushroom chicken soup that was difficult to swallow. Over salted and the chicken was rubbery. Then came there version of a kimchi that was ok. Shrimp next that was battered (gluten) and smothered in mayonnaise, and then an over salted spicy beef dish and inedible veggies dish.At this point we decided to leave and opted instead to pay for food delivery. When we shared this information with the assistant helping us he messaged me saying you are a foreigner would you prefer chicken wings or a steak. I’ve been living in China 10 years and never spoken to so rudely. My gf then wanted to have a soak in the hot spring and have a fire because the rain had stopped but she was told no they could not do this for us that night. That’s when I added the wechat and she deleted him so she would no longer have to talk to someone so rude. We did find it strange that even though I was now in communication with him he still attempted to friend my gf several times, very disrespectful!! After I explained how unsatisfactory the service was to that point he made more of an effort and we did get to enjoy a relaxing evening outside. The next day we stayed away from the restaurant not wanting to have that experience again so ordered delivery service again, decent food for delivery. We did attempt the on site restaurant one more time before checking out for breakfast and this was awful as well. Cold eggs, bacon and sausage. They did have a nice assortment of breads which we could not eat (gluten) so we had a yogurt container and coffee before leaving. One part of the stay was an assistant driving us into town to a nice tea shop. He took us tot he location and offered to help us select a shop. He was very friendly and helpful inside the shop to explain the differences in teas and get us a good deal. We ended up purchasing 2 boxes of tea to take home. Overall I did not enjoy the stay at this overpriced and falsely advertised hotel. This is certainly one case when we did not get what we paid for. Wishing you better luck than we had.

Este es el hotel más terapéutico, relajante y con mejor servicio en el que me he alojado. Toda la música de la habitación, incluido el aroma de los aceites esenciales, era increíblemente relajante. Está cerca del centro de la ciudad, pero es tranquilo y apacible. Las habitaciones son increíblemente espaciosas y cada detalle está diseñado con mucho gusto. Xianhua Sandalwood International Hotel Rating: ★★★★☆ We recently stayed at Xianhua Sandalwood International Hotel during the national holiday in China, and overall, our experience was quite enjoyable. Here’s a breakdown of our stay: **Location: 浦江仙华檀宫国际度假酒店 **Check-In Experience:**   We arrived at Xianhua Sandalwood International Hotel and the check-in process was smooth and efficient. The staff greeted us warmly and provided all the necessary information about our stay. However, the English was limited, but at least it was smooth and no hassles.   **Room Comfort:**   Our room was spacious and well-appointed. We appreciated the comfortable king sized bed, view, huge bathtub, cleanliness, and spaciousness. However, as a coffee lover, there was only one serving of coffee, so when we woke up the next morning I was quite upset that only myself was able to enjoy an early morning coffee. Nevertheless, it was perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. **Facilities:**   The hotel offered various facilities that enhanced our stay. We particularly enjoyed facilities like a fitness center, indoor pool, hot springs, table tennis and the pool table. The breakfast buffet was delightful, offering a mix of local and international cuisine. **Service:**   The staff was exceptional. They were always available and eager to assist with any requests. Their friendly approach made our stay even more pleasant. The front desk manager Kang was super friendly and arranged for the coffee bar to open earlier the day we checked out. **Room for Improvement:**   While our overall experience was positive, there were a couple of areas for improvement. We traveled with our 7 month old daughter and the noise and maintenance were quite unpleasant. However, these didn’t detract significantly from our enjoyment. **Final Thoughts:**   This international hotel is just a few minutes' drive from the city, offering a serene escape with a beautiful exterior. Guests are welcomed by a picturesque fish pond, vibrant gardens, playful rabbits, and a designated play area for kids, making it an ideal family-friendly destination.  In addition to comfortable accommodations and expected amenities, the hotel provides a relaxing environment for guests of all ages. Would we return? Absolutely!

¡Madre mía! Es casi un evento anual, y nos vamos otra vez (el año pasado a la zona de VOCO), ¡este año un poco más al sur! La experiencia en general fue genial, ¡así que usaré mis ”tres criterios” para evaluarla! Primero, el ”ambiente”: realmente se sentía como un hotel resort, con comodidades para familias, un ambiente relajante y las características operativas de un hotel completo (incluyendo pequeños paquetes turísticos), ¡incluso el ”fragancia” en el vestíbulo, jaja! Segundo, la ”atención”, especialmente la ”respuesta de servicio” atenta y meticulosa del servicio al cliente ”Zhou Zhou” (Qi Qi), ¡me sentí como en casa! Tercero, la ”justicia”: hay un descuento para estancias consecutivas, ¡lo cual es realmente ”genial”, jeje! En resumen: instalaciones bien, limpieza bien, ambiente bien, servicio bien… ¡Volveré!

En general, fue una estancia aceptable; no esperen estándares japoneses. Al parecer, tuvieron un periodo de preapertura y abrieron el 15 de abril. Se nota que aún no van del todo bien: trip.com indica que el spa debe reservarse con un día de antelación, pero en WeChat dijeron que no era necesario reservar y que podíamos usarlo cuando quisiéramos. El segundo día, quisimos usar el spa por segunda vez, pero un miembro del personal nos dijo que no podíamos volver a usarlo, lo cual nos confundió. Más tarde, otro miembro del personal nos dijo que sí. El spa en sí tenía vistas espectaculares, pero la piscina exterior, curiosamente, tenía manzanas medio mordidas y podridas flotando. Tras hablar con el personal del spa, dijeron que era por motivos estéticos y que los huéspedes debían de comérselas sin saberlo. Preocupantes estándares de higiene. 😨 Por lo demás, la higiene general parece estar bien. Todas las habitaciones tienen su propio patio privado, así que hay dos puertas: la principal de madera y la de cristal que da a nuestra habitación. La puerta principal de madera se rompió dos veces; no pudimos cerrarla (más bien, no solucionaron el problema por completo la primera vez), lo que nos hizo perder el tiempo, ya que tuvimos que quedarnos sentados viendo cómo el personal de mantenimiento arreglaba la puerta. El desayuno estaba bien, pero la mitad de los platos estaban demasiado salados para mi gusto. Una extraña mezcla de cocina occidental, japonesa y china. Era más barato comprarlos allí mismo (168 yuanes a día de hoy). El servicio no estuvo a la altura de un hotel de este precio. La personal que nos recibió parecía estar leyendo un guion; la mitad del tiempo no pudimos oírla, incluso después de pedirle que hablara más claro dos veces. Parecía que estaban allí para supervisarnos más que para cuidarnos. En lugar de ”¿En qué puedo ayudarle?”, respondieron ”¿Qué le pasa?” en dos ocasiones distintas. ¡No me parece aceptable! Algunos empleados tampoco reciben bien a los huéspedes.

After reserving, I received a courtesy call from the hotel, and we then connected on WeChat since I don’t speak Chinese. The hotel introduced me to Long, the housekeeper, who coordinated our entire stay with great care and attention. Before our arrival, they asked if we had any special requests. As my wife and I were celebrating our anniversary, I asked them to decorate the room with flowers—and they did a beautiful job. They also asked about our dinner and breakfast preferences and were impressively organized in their preparations. We arrived on a Saturday afternoon, but our taxi had trouble locating the hotel. I called Long, and he immediately came out to meet us—a huge help! When we checked in, they welcomed us with refreshments and even surprised us with a complimentary room upgrade. The room had a bathtub, which our three-year-old son especially loved. To our delight, they had thoughtfully prepared a child’s hygiene kit for him, including kid-friendly soap, shampoo, and a dental kit. We also received a handwritten note, a fresh fruit bowl, and a lovely bouquet of flowers. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, spotless, and very tastefully decorated. There’s a small indoor play area for children, including a slide, tent, and games—our son played there every day. We also enjoyed strolling around the grounds and spending time at the scenic swimming pool, which is nestled in the mountains. The food was another highlight: we had a delicious Chinese dinner and a traditional Chinese breakfast, both full of flavor. Throughout our stay, Long was incredibly helpful and made our trip truly special. Thank you, Long! I highly recommend Lost Villa. They have other locations as well, and we’re definitely looking forward to staying with them again.

We really enjoyed everything. We came from Hangzhou for a weekend getaway to relax and visit 诸葛仙山, and also to swim. The surrounding nature is magnificent, and the hotel was quiet and peaceful — exactly what we came for. There's an excellent outdoor pool where you can swim under the moonlight. On the hotel grounds, there are black swans, rabbits, a fox, and raccoons. We stayed for two nights. For the first breakfast, we had a choice between a Western or Chinese set menu. On the second morning, there was a buffet — and it was fantastic. We definitely preferred the buffet. There were green olives. The food was very tasty. Most importantly, black coffee was available for breakfast — strong, just the way we like it, and no sugar! What could be better than a cup of Americano in an Italian castle in the morning? The mini pastries were exquisite. The hotel itself is very beautiful — we felt as if we had visited Italy. The staff were extremely polite. The rooms were delightful, with a bathtub and even bath foam provided. Upon arrival, a small buggy took us to the main building with the rooms — that was a pleasant surprise. At checkout, they gave us a bottle of sparkling wine as a gift — unexpected but very nice. We loved everything and think we'll come back again many times.”

We chose this hotel primarily for its promise of a secluded, nature-connected experience and its on-site hot springs—a perfect antidote to busy city life. The room was warm, cozy, and wonderfully quiet. The bed was big and incredibly comfortable, ensuring great sleep. The bathroom was spacious and well-appointed. The best feature was the house's layout—separated from others, it felt private, secluded, and truly integrated with the natural surroundings. It was the peaceful haven we needed. The hotel territory is vast and beautifully maintained, perfect for calming walks. The dining experience was excellent: the food was tasty, presented in a clean environment, and offered a satisfying variety. Unfortunately, the main attraction became a source of stress. The culture of quiet, therapeutic relaxation expected at a hot spring was completely absent. The most visitors were behaving like they are in a public swimming pool, with yelling and kids jumping, splashing, and running around. This chaotic atmosphere made it impossible to relax or enjoy the springs' intended benefits. It felt like a disaster for anyone seeking the tranquil, restorative experience hot springs are known for. Despite the hot springs issue, our overall stay was very nice, thanks to the superb room, excellent food, and beautiful grounds. The core product—the accommodation—is outstanding. I will definitely return, but I will plan my visit for a much less busy period (perhaps weekdays or off-holidays). If you are seeking solitude and quiet, I highly recommend the rooms but advise cautious timing for the hot springs. This place has all the ingredients for a perfect retreat; you just need to find the right moment to enjoy them fully.
