Great location to base yourself for a few days of seeing Queenstown. (It really is that close.) Nice and friendly staff at check in and throughout. Most helpful. Ents included TV, books, games, couple of guitars, ocassional theme evenings. Couple of outdoor spaces. Bathrooms are fine although if fairly or more than fairly tall, the shower heads are surprisingly low down. I understand the difficulties with this given the time of year but a floor by floor deep clean is probably needed. Whilst I am no member of the fun police, having numerous notes across the place emphasising the need to keep noise down after 10pm, I can see why this might be a bit galling when the staff who live there alongside guests do not abide by this - especially when you have no idea who is a worker who is off duty. Might be impossible given temperatures, but it wasn't ideal to climb into my bunk in the pitch black (other than the light from my phone) and find a cat sleeping there (honestly!) I like a cat but if I hadn't had my phone lit, I would never have known and would have landed forcefully on it. I actually found it quite funny but a lot wouldn't. All hell could have broken loose if I had landed on it. (Amusingly and no joke, I was watching Don't F*** with Cats at the time and had paused it while I climbed in. Perhaps it was written...) Anyway, really nice spot and right for the price. Cheers!

El excelente ubicación y el mecanismo de seguridad de bloqueo de código PIN en las entradas principales son útiles. Justo al lado de la estación de coche de Intercity, que me dependen de todo el viaje en NZ. Por lo tanto, no hay ascensor que se preocupe por llevar mi gran equipaje y la mano llevada. Me quedé en 6 dormitorios ensuite. Las habitaciones son más grandes y hay un enorme almacenamiento para cada residente. Las llaves y el almacenamiento adicional se encuentran fuera del bunker si necesita más espacio. También se ofrecen toallas. Muy tranquila en la noche, así puede dormir bien. La cocina es enorme y todavía encuentro espacio para colocar mis granjas en el frigorífico y el cubículo fuera. Estaré de vuelta para quedarme por unas noches cuando vuelva a Queenstown.

La habitación tiene una bonita vista al lago y comodidad. Hay una cocina común para cocinar y un salón para descansar. El único comentario pequeño es que no hay depósito de equipaje gratuito.

Always my favourite place to stay when we go to The Catlins. Beach is nearby, sunset view is awesome. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Will definitely come back again.

the location’s perfect if you’re not renting a car as a solo traveler. roof top lounge is pretty chill, and the view was breathtaking. They were renovating into a rooftop bar when I was visiting, seems likes the vibe at the area will be another level up

Aunque la habitación es pequeña, también se espera que no haya baño privado. ¡La instalación dice que hay un baño independiente, en realidad es una lavabo que se pone en el cuarto, el cajón también es público, si le importa, el pequeño compañero se selecciona! Y es que el estacionamiento no es fácil, no hay estacionamiento en el hotel, para estacionar en el lado de la carretera, la puerta del hotel está en dos lugares, básicamente no está libre, y los huéspedes del hotel también pueden estacionar aquí, hay autos estacionados en ambos lados de la carretera, es difícil tener un lugar. El hotel está en la otra cara de una fila de casas privadas. La puerta está vacía, hablando muy mal, conozco a alguien tan malo aquí en Nueva Zelanda, con otros locales, conozco muy amablemente.

Brilliant place like all haka houses are! Very clean and huge kitchen area, nice lounge area as well! Toilets were clean. Only downside is that there is advertised private parking but when I got there the car park was full with about 6 cars in it! This means you have to either park on the street or go up a huge hill and park outside houses just to get to your car! Wasn’t made clear.

Overall, the stay was quite satisfactory. The only downside is that the room is next to a shared toilet, and noise from the door opening and closing is noticeable.

衞生情況好，很乾凈，很明亮寬敞的廚房。距離湖邊走路5分鐘。周邊商店齊全，有紅超。很美麗的小鎮，讓人身心愉悦。
