La habitación estaba limpia, pero bastante estrecha: había mucho desorden en la cocina y las cosas no estaban etiquetadas. Tal vez si estuvieras solo podrías soportarlo, pero con un grupo pequeño no es tan tolerable.

La habitación está bien. Hay un restaurante tailandés cercano llamado Receta de Bangkok y la comida allí muy buena, ordenamos té de leche tailandés, pad tailandés, noddel de manzana y satay porcino. Un pueblo tranquilo con pocos lugares para ir, pero bueno para relajarse.

酒店環境特別好，老闆娘是一位中國姐姐，特別好，還給我牛奶，這裏很安靜，而且離景區很近，十米的地方有個麥當勞和加油站，100米的地方有一個炸魚薯條也是國人開的很好吃但不友善，總之酒店很乾凈衞生，地理位置好，方便快捷，停車很方便

Clean, tidy, and generally comfortable stay. The room was quite compact, but there was just enough space to store and open large suitcases, and there are heavy drawers under the bed for storage (no lock provided). The building itself is narrow and compact, with quite a few stairs required to access the kitchen, bathrooms, lounge areas, and some rooms, which may be inconvenient for those with heavy luggage or limited mobility. Our ground-floor room was directly below the shower units, and with thin walls, noise from water running, footsteps, and street traffic (as it’s centrally located on a main road) was noticeable. Light sleepers may find this disruptive. Facilities are good, with two shared kitchens (stovetops, toaster, microwave, kettle, fridge, cutlery, and crockery), indoor and balcony seating areas, and a large lounge (TV plays DVDs only). There are multiple shared unisex bathrooms, including single units and a space with two showers and toilets. This may not suit everyone. Cleaned in the morning but gets dirty by end of day. On a positive, there are plenty of bath mats, liquid soap, and a hair dryer are provided. Laundry is available via QR code payment (around $6 per wash or dry), and on-site parking is offered at $40 per night. Towel available for hire ($4). Staff super friendly.

Good things are that pod is clean, bath towel was given, and check-in/out was easy with the touch panel. Bad things were that I couldn’t charge my phone for some reason even if I tried with different cables in my pod, and drain in the shower room was not great. Overall, it was good!

The room was very spacious and had great natural lighting, which I really appreciated. It felt comfortable during the day and overall the space itself was quite nice. However, the WiFi was extremely poor. Even basic social media would keep buffering, and trying to watch a show at night was almost impossible — it would pause every couple of minutes. Since there’s not much to do around in the evening, this was pretty frustrating. Another thing that felt a bit uncomfortable was the mirror placement next to the bed upstairs. It’s not directly facing the bed, but if you turn to the side, you’re basically looking straight into it. I know this might not bother everyone, but in some cultures (like feng shui), having a mirror facing the bed is considered bad for sleep and overall comfort, so it felt a bit odd to me. The bathroom was also a bit annoying — the fan automatically turns on with the light and can’t be switched off separately. It was quite loud, so even using the bathroom felt uncomfortable after a while. Parking space was decent in size, but getting out was inconvenient. I had to reverse multiple times because the space behind wasn’t very wide. Overall, the room itself is nice, but the WiFi and some layout details could really use improvement.

At first glance, the place seems lovely and inviting. However, on closer inspection, there are quite a few maintenance issues that need attention. Several lights weren’t working (only about 2 out of 5), the carpet wasn’t as clean as it initially appeared, and there was mould in the shower. There are also signs of wear such as plastering around the sink, and the hairdryer made an unhealthy noise when used. The toilet bolts were loose, which was concerning. The bathroom lacks an extractor fan, so it becomes very steamy. The shower head is quite small with low pressure. While there is an outdoor area, it doesn’t offer much privacy as the motel is right on the road. Parking is available on-site, which is a plus, but there are no laundry facilities. There is a makeshift kitchenette with a toaster, microwave, kettle, fridge, and basic cutlery and crockery. However, it’s not suitable for cooking proper meals, and the lack of a sink makes washing up or even filling the kettle inconvenient. On the positive side, the location is excellent—right next to a New World supermarket and very central. Overall, the place is reasonably clean, tidy, and comfortable, but it would benefit from some maintenance.

Una gran experiencia para una mujer que viaja sola. Ventajas Compartí un dormitorio femenino con otras tres mujeres y lo pasé genial conociendo a las que entraban y salían. El baño compartido siempre estaba limpio (lo limpiaban a diario). La cocina común es amplia y está bien organizada. Se pueden usar los condimentos que se dejen. Como todavía hacía frío, siempre hay chimeneas encendidas tanto en la recepción como en la sala común. Esto crea un ambiente muy acogedor. El mejor servicio que recibí fue en el mostrador de información, ubicado en la recepción. Como no tenía tarjeta de crédito y los negocios como Snowbiz en la ciudad no aceptan efectivo, pude pagar los forfaits y el alquiler de esquí reservando en el mostrador de atención al cliente (tienen un lector de tarjetas y también aceptan efectivo). Desventajas En esta parte del hostal donde estaba mi habitación hay mucho ruido, ya que hay barras abajo, a pesar de que la puerta corredera está insonorizada. No todas las lámparas de lectura de cada cama funcionan y también necesitan una reparación. La ducha perdía mucha agua porque la puerta de cristal no cerraba bien. En general, una estancia estupenda y con una excelente relación calidad-precio. Ahorras en alojamiento, ya que visitar Quebec es caro.

This is so far the best motel stay of my NZ holiday. The room is big and everything is sparkling clean. There’s plenty of room, the bed is very big. The bed linen is like brand new. Most of all, the landlord is super nice. I left my wallet at the reception when I checked in. This gentleman came and gave it to me. On the checking out day, I left my phone charge at the bedside. He left message for me. Luckily then I was still in Dunedine. I couldn’t be more grateful! Strongly recommend this motel👍👍👍
