My friends and I had a great stay at The Bealey Quarter! The motel is situated in Christchurch City, allowing easy access to the tourist sites, whether you're travelling on foot, by car, or by public transport. There are plenty of buses and metro buses that frequently stop right near the accommodation as well! The staff were very friendly. We had a late flight (that got delayed even later) and ended up having to check in after hours. They were very accommodating with this, and similarly, when we asked for new towels, we received them immediately. Similarly, they were kind enough to allow us to put our luggage in their reception office whilst we went to collect our rental car on the day that we checked out. My only issue is that I had to contact them a few times before I received the late check-in details. The facilities were lovely. and very clean! The bathroom was private with a shower with good pressure and hot water. The bench and the toilet were a little high, which we were surprised by, but this wasn't a major issue at all! My only recommendation would be to add a ventilation fan to the bathroom, as although there is an open window above the sink, ventilation was still not ideal. The room came with a heater, a really good fan, and very comfy blankets and duvets. We were also provided with glasses and mugs, a selection of tea, coffee, and hot chocolate, a hair dryer, a bin, a little cupboard, desk, chair, and even a bench where our suitcases fit really well. The view of the courtyard was beautiful despite the somewhat miserable weather, and access to the courtyard via the back door meant we could use the hammocks in the nice grassy area :) The back door was a bit tough to open, and we had to actually get the staff to show us how to use it. My only other qualm is that there is no potable water in the rooms themselves. Instead, our keycard allows us to the Lodge (I believe the hostel area), where there's a kitchen and we can fill up. Overall, we had a great experience here and I definitely recommend the Bealey Quarter to anyone coming to Christchurch. It was so affordable too :)) I didn't get many good photos but here you go!

The front desk was very welcoming, energetic and polite. Big room with all facilities. My partner and I had a lovely evening.

El puente es increíblemente agradable, con un gran desplome ciego, salidas personales y un poco de fan. El hotel está situado en una zona muy agradable para quedarse en el aire libre, trabajar o conocer a las personas, con una gran vibración, un cómodo asiento y actividades divertidas. La caminata al terminal del aeropuerto sólo tarda 10 minutos en un camino completamente plano, suave, super fácil incluso para un vuelo de medianoche.

Kevin y June son amables y accesibles. Las habitaciones están equipadas con las comodidades básicas. La ubicación es conveniente ya que estamos conduciendo. El único desventaja es nuestras habitaciones están en el nivel superior y no hay ascensor.

The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with all the essentials, including a comfortable bed and a small kitchenette. The Wi-Fi was reliable, and the parking was convenient. The staff was friendly and accommodating, always ready to help with any requests. The location was also great—close to shops, restaurants, and easy access to the city. Overall, it’s a good choice for a comfortable and hassle-free stay. I would definitely consider staying here again.

I had a truly enjoyable 4-night stay at Haka House Christchurch. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the cleanliness, comfortable facilities, and well-organised atmosphere. Everything was thoughtfully maintained, making it easy to feel relaxed and at home throughout my stay. The staff were consistently friendly, helpful, and welcoming, which made the experience even more pleasant. I really appreciated the care and attention given to maintaining such a comfortable environment for guests. Overall, it was a memorable and enjoyable stay, and I would gladly recommend Haka House Christchurch to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and welcoming place to stay.

I had a cosy and comfortable stay. The friendly staff at the reception offered a complimentary shuttle to the airport next morning, a service which I had not realized was available. The staff truly went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. Thoughtful gestures included offering a bottle of fresh milk, which was an unexpected but lovely touch, as well as assistance in carrying of luggage to both room and on board shuttle van. All these small acts of kindness made me feel so welcomed, especially on my last night in New Zealand. :)

Hay 2 puercos que siempre roamen alrededor.

Plocation was great, and the kitchen was very well equipped for cooking. One important tip — remember to do your grocery shopping before heading to Mount Cook. Otherwise, like us, your dinner might end up being Shin Ramyun while saying goodbye to steaks and meat for the night.

The twizel town is very beautiful and the place was at the right place. However, the room we choose wasn’t that great. I know it’s a small town but reception area was closed by 7pm so you need to make sure you arrive before time else need to message the check in time.
