This is one of the nicer Backpackers I’ve stayed in. It has only one bunk in each pod so you’re really separate from everybody else. The location is three hours from Amsterdam although it is very very close to the train station I loved the free fruit and the outside areas. There was two nice garden areas. The only thing I didn’t appreciate or enjoy was I booked in so late at night and it just happened to be handover and the lady could not help me as she was busy counting her hotel and finishing her day so therefore I did not get my free welcome drink. I thought it was just the water on the bar when I asked if there was any food she said no and did not offer me any fruit which of course I realised it’s free so there was food. Another couple were trying to book in at the same time as me so I gave them the computer. I really wish that the woman behind the bar could have told me there was a second computer. I guess she was just having a bad day. I also had had a bad day although it’s not a competition, I had caught the wrong train from Amsterdam and had an hour and a half detour. All my own fault but I was absolutely shattered. I could not think straight when I got there and needed a little help to check In. Highly recommend doing the caves and fort at Saint Petersburg.
