I had a flight with an overnight layover in Qingdao, so I opted to stay locally in a hotel. 'Locally' meant riding two stops on the subway, and catching the bus for two stops which altogether cost me less than £1. Probably about $1 US, or €1. However, I had to wait a while for the bus, so it took me about an hour. Upon arrival, the landlord treated me like a king and was exceptionally helpful. I can speak Chinese, and I wouldn't recommend this hotel unless people can speak a little Chinese and can read basic sentences. The hotel is fairly basic but, as I said, the proprietors are extremely accommodating and told me to ask if I needed anything. The landlord showed me where to eat locally (and physically took me there!) and when I left, he showed me where the nearest bus stop is (photo). I couldn't make the hot water work for a shower, but had I asked I'm sure they would have sorted it. I was in a bit of a rush in the morning and I didn't want to make a fuss. The bed was hard (like I Chinese prefer) but I slept well. There was no kettle in the room, but boiling water was provided. The area is out in the country, so if you want to see how ordinary Chinese live, this is a good opportunity. City hotels are quite westernised but this place is authentic Chinese. La primera vez que experimenta el hotel juvenil, me siento muy bien, muy recomendado en esta tienda. Higiene limpia y limpia, baños y baños limpios y a tiempo, muy limpio y sin distinción. Located inside a housing compound. GPS navigation brought me to the door, which was fortunate as it would be hard to find otherwise. They could do with a sign in English – meanwhile, look out for the Chinese characters 观海. It looks like you're arriving at the back door of a ground floor apartment. The receptionist was friendly and helpful, using a translation app where necessary. The atmosphere is cheerfully scruffy and youthful, with hundreds of visitors' signature all over the walls. Facilities are basic – the showers are over squat toilets (plenty of water though), and there are no drinking water refill machine (buy plastic for 1 yuan at the reception). The lobby area is tiny – they actually advertise the sofa bed in the lobby as a single-occupancy. Not a great idea – don't confuse it with a tiny single room as I did. They upgraded me to a dorm room. The mattress is not soft. The location is good for a visit to May 4th Square and the seafront. Overall, it was okay to doss here one night, but I found Kaiyue Hostel much better value.

I simply can’t praise the team of this hostel enough. I think it would be safe to say ghat my 2-night stay at the DY hostel Qingdao has made it to top-3 of my hostel experiences ever worldwide. Immaculate cleanliness, big fluffy towels, great linen, superb location and design and the best draft beer at the hostel bar served by friendly and helpful employees. Great job! I will be baaaack!

Me quedé en un dormitorio para diez personas, pero la habitación era muy espaciosa y para nada estrecha; era mucho más grande que las anteriores. 2. Las duchas y los aseos están separados, lo que permite separar eficazmente las zonas húmedas de las secas, lo cual es muy higiénico. Los aseos también están separados para hombres y mujeres, y hay muchos urinarios. Hay secadores de pelo y zapatillas. Debes traer tus propios artículos de aseo o comprar paquetes individuales en la recepción. 3. Hay un balcón al aire libre. Me alojé allí durante las vacaciones del Primero de Mayo, y sentarme en el balcón disfrutando de la brisa fue realmente agradable. También se puede fumar en el balcón. 4. Lo más importante es que la intención original del hostal es hacer amigos con intereses similares, conocer gente de diferentes lugares y disfrutar de la hermosa época de la juventud. Yanqi lo consigue a la perfección 👍. El propietario es muy entusiasta y organiza regularmente juegos y actividades en la zona de trabajo a las 21:30. No importa si eres usuario de internet; muchos lo son y te ayudarán a integrarte. Todos juegan y se conocen entre sí. Durante mi estancia, conocí a mucha gente interesante, dejando una huella imborrable en mi juventud. También había muchos amigos extranjeros alojados aquí, e interactuamos mucho, lo cual fue genial. Sentado en el tren de alta velocidad de regreso a la universidad, extrañé mucho Yanqi. Si tuviera la oportunidad, elegiría alojarme aquí de nuevo. Es un lugar excelente para hospedarse en Jinan. (Está ubicado junto al lago Daming y la estación de metro está justo afuera, lo cual es muy conveniente. Por cierto, el dueño también tiene muchos gatos adorables).

這個民宿整體房間環境來講是比較樸實無華的，然後很細心的貼了好多標語。然後他的樓下就是超意興，然後他整個是一個商業區，不過這個商業區有一家賣串串的特別好吃，在其他的很多都是一些飯店你可以堂食，但很多都會提供對外的一個外賣。 老闆非常健談，而且這麼説，就是你睡的床，老闆也睡，哪張床剩下老闆睡哪張。所以衞生這個問題你們大可放心，老闆主業就是醫生！！！

La habitación es más limpia, hay aire acondicionado, hay baño en mi habitación, así que no tiene que ir al baño público, el baño público parece ser un mezcla de hombres y mujeres. No hay agua limpia ni limpiador ni taza única. Hay un jardín en el primer piso que puede coger agua, pero el agua me siento un poco mal bebiendo directamente, así que yo mismo salí a buscar una pequeña tienda para comprar agua para beber. Lo mejor es que esta familia tiene dos pandas, un buen tipo de dos pandas, que se puede mover.

The location is convenient to access the beach and subway. The staff are super friendly and communicate really well. There is also a washing machine. My kids liked the air raid shelter.

Las habitaciones son muy seguras y limpias ( todos tenemos nuestra propia clave electrónica ) ! ¡El personal es tan sorprendente como siempre (la mamá cocina los descartes para los huéspedes durante el día nacional, un gesto tan grande 🥰🥰🥰)! ¡Y el caballero siempre tan amable y profesional! Siempre dispuesto a ayudar por cualquier cosa, incluso si no está relacionado con el albergue! ¡Estaré de vuelta en 2 meses en Qingdao y me quedaré aquí otra vez! 🥰🥰🥰 te veré muy pronto!

老闆老闆娘人很好很熱情，剛開始找不到在哪裡，老闆還親自下樓接。環境特別好，很乾凈，大廳很寬敞，休息區也很大，還有小露台，衞生間也特別寬敞乾淨，洗手液吹風機頭梳都有。床鋪也很舒服，枕頭特別軟哇，而且三件套都是從消毒櫃拿出來的，大家可以放心ദ്ദി˶ｰ̀֊ｰ́ ）✧床邊有一條燈帶，開起來也很亮，床簾很遮光，而且青旅在三樓，基本聽不到外面樓下的聲音，睡得特別好哈哈哈٩（˃̶͈̀௰˂̶͈́）و（第一張圖衹是一條走廊，盡頭左拐還有一條，其實挺大滴青旅，第二張莫見怪我放的東西，三件套就是老闆娘從消毒櫃剛拿出來滴
