i saw many positive reviews and was excited to see if it was reality... Simply put, its worth visiting Luoyang just to stay at May Fourth Youth Hostel. The level of cleanliness, amicability, overall positive yet low-key ambience should be the standard across the country. From the music choice in the lobby to the staff who run it, It's clear it has been designed and is run by people who really understand what it means to be a traveller and what makes a good hotel. The rooms are spacious (sometimes hostels can feel claustophobic - but not here), with beds having more space than typical, good quality pillow and duvets. Suited for both travellers from the east and west, there are seated and squat toilets, with a large array of showers. The washing machine is great (if they had a couple of good Dryers too that would be amazing), as well as the communal rooms with vending machines, pool table, and seating area (including the lovely quiet library space) The location is decent too, a spacious cultural park is nearby with the hostel itself tucked away from the main street, creating convinience but not crowds. The price is perfect! ideal for young people, students and solo travellers visiting on a budget. My friend decided to stay here two more days just because of the comfort and facilities. As both a foreigner and a woman, i felt safe and welcome here so i reccommend friends from abroad to come check this place out. Possibly the best youth hostel i've had the pleasure of staying in oh also the little cat is so cute !

¡Qué lugar tan increíble! Entras por un ascensor que da a la calle y el hostel se encuentra ubicado en el tejado del edificio. Unas vistas estupendas. Un servicio agradable. Unas instalaciones de primera. Y una ubicación inmejorable en el corazón de la ciudad pero sin demasiado ajetreo. La verdad es que no me habría importado estar un par de días más relajado en este lugar privilegiado. Recomendable 100%!

我在中秋前夜到達小院 這裏的氛圍非常温暖 特別是兩位前台的熱情 她們不像在工作牛馬。我很想知道是什麼樣的人能夠開這樣一家旅社。 當晚有幸和老闆共飲 瞭解了小院的一些。一開始我以為老闆是個富婆 讓她能夠按照自己的想法來經營這裏。但聽她講她也在被房貸 物業費困擾時 我就覺得她是一位idéalisme 她在她的能力之中努力讓這裏變得更好 更温暖。 我在這裏過了一個最熱鬧的中秋 我們共同舉杯 談天説地 而我衹是一個與她們認識兩天的客人兼朋友 最純粹的熱情與友誼讓這裏變成一個有愛的家園。 用文字表達感受很蒼白 但我希望每一個人到豫的年輕人都可以來到這裏體驗 感受。屋子不大 但堅持一客一換 乾淨整潔、屋子的清潔中不會使用空氣清新劑 而是薰香、露台是真的很完美 務必嘗試在那裡喝一杯老闆泡的梅子酒。 我沒有加任何一位的聯繫方式 不單單是那句“相逢何必曾相識” 而是我確信我今後每一年都會來到小院 看到小沛姐和她兩位義工共同經營的小家。 07-10-25

I had an absolutely wonderful stay in Luoyang and truly wished I could have stayed longer! On my first night, the host kindly invited me to a lovely barbecue with other guests. As a solo traveler and a foreigner not fluent in Chinese, I felt warmly welcomed, included, and genuinely cared for. The atmosphere was relaxed and heartwarming — it seems this hostel attracts kind, thoughtful people. Everything was spotless, and my bed was incredibly comfortable. Thank you again, uncle and all the guests, for your warmth and positive energy!

Este albergue es muy bonito. Es limpio y moderno. Está situado en una zona tranquila y agradable cerca de la estación de tren de Luoyang Longmen, por lo que fue fácil trasladarse al centro de la ciudad por la subasta o a cualquier otro destino. Tenemos una habitación privada con todas las comodidades y vistas al jardín. El host es una persona muy agradable, siempre listo para ayudarle y darle toda la información necesaria. ¡Todo perfecto!

第一次來開封玩，一個人青旅實在是太實惠了，而且都是女生還很安心哦，一進去就被這個環境吸引到了，特別喜歡，而且客服和房間裏都是有空調的，剛開始找不到地方和老闆打電話也是很耐用在指引呢，而且老闆人超好，環境和衞生也超好，如果你是臨時出來旅遊沒有準備生活用品，入店會有免費的洗漱用品，離開時也會贈送小禮品哦，而且老闆還會準備桌遊，一個人來玩的寶子也不會孤單呢，如果你衹是想來休息也是可以的，房間很安靜也不會有人打擾你，而且房間的床上用品，也是第二天換新的，完全不會有其他顧慮，房間內和客廳都跟暖和哦，想洗澡的也有衞浴不過要購買一次性浴巾哦，衹要5元也是很實惠了，睡眠不好的老闆還會給你提供免費的耳塞哦，反正就是很滿意啦，糾結的寶寶可以看這家哦，超好，下次去還會考慮噠，話不多説直接上圖哦，圖片僅是本人居住周圍的環境哦

Antes de mis vacaciones, estaba navegando por la página web de la escuela cuando me topé con un lugar súper acogedor y ¡lo reservé enseguida! Al llegar después de las vacaciones, me fui sintiendo atraída poco a poco. El dueño estaba cenando fuera cuando llegué, pero después de contactarlo, regresó enseguida. De repente, apareció un joven amable que insistió en ayudarme con mi equipaje. Insistí en llevarlo yo misma, pero él insistió en ayudarme. Entonces apareció otra dueña, increíblemente amable. Me habló directamente, pero no pude oírla. Se sorprendió al darse cuenta de que podría ser la primera vez que se encontraba con alguien con discapacidad auditiva como yo. Charlamos un buen rato y fue muy paciente, no fría conmigo porque no podía hablar. Dentro, era una casita muy acogedora. Me mostró las duchas y los baños de ambas plantas, charlando mientras me guiaba. ¡Ver su sonrisa me conmovió! Escuchar eso me hizo sentir muy a gusto. ¡Gracias por decírmelo! Dos días después, me fui. Me daban ganas de irme; era tan amable y gentil, ¡la quería tanto! Definitivamente quiero quedarme aquí nuevamente la próxima vez y experimentar esta calidez nuevamente 🥰

#衞生院子、走廊、房間、衞生間都乾淨整潔，雖然和新開業的沒法比，但是同價位的比還是很乾凈的。#服務老闆熱情貼心，第二次住了。#位置交通方便，附近商户也多，買東西方便。#房間設施大桶免費飲用水，棒棒，插座多，位置也方便，我同時用了五個還有空餘，哈哈。美中不足這次房間沒有梳子和空調遙控器，雖然今晚天冷用不到，梳子和一次性馬桶墊也有自帶的。#停車方便，有停車位。#床適中#性價比較高

the hostel is located very near the subway and just a few stops from the railway station. there are restaurants and shops around. staff is helpful. the place is a little bit messy but ok for one-two nights. it feels safe. you can communicate with them on wechat and it's better to ask information about the floor and apartment number of the hostel (and pass code) beforehand, so you don't have to call them when you get there, since it's located inside a building. I feel if is better organized it can be a great hostel.
