I stayed in a 4-person room. The room was minimalist and medium-small, with lockers – basic but comfortable. The common area is stylish and inviting, with plenty of seating, cozy corners, plants, kettles, and power outlets, though it’s on a high floor with a glass ceiling – warm when hot, cozy when cold, and the few fans aren’t always enough. The staff at the desk were friendly, laundry facilities available, though no snacks or cold drinks. The area is urban, among regular buildings, so not particularly attractive from the outside, but within walking distance to the museum and the metro station, with a large supermarket and several food options nearby. Overall, a decent place to stay in Lanzhou.

I stayed in this hostel for a total of 5 nights, with two breaks when I went on tours outside of Lanzhou. I have put in reviews earlier, so this is my final for the hostel that had begun to feel like Home. The hostel itself is very comfortable a stay: clean, comfortable wide bed with sliding door for privacy, nice seating areas... It is run by a family who take turns staying over so that there is 24 hour reception. All are friendly and kind, especially the father. The parents don't speak English but you can easily use a translation app; other guests will probably interact with you. The location: it is situated about a 5 minute walk to the Yellow River Tower, and a further 10 minute walk to the Lanzhou Old Street area where there is an amazing array of food options. Just outside the hostel is a Halal (Muslim-run) restaurant called (Ruhua 如华）which the hostel owners say have been in operation for 20 or 30 years. The hand-pulled (手抓) mutton that I had there was fantastic, even though I am typically not a mutton eater --- the taste is a delicate and balanced mix of light spices (I could taste a hint of ginger, for example) and saltiness. And the 八宝茶 is also excellent. A 7 minute walk to the right after exiting the hostel (past the above -mentioned restaurant) to the main road where many buses ply, you will find another good mix of local food options, especially in the morning. The hostel is conveniently located near the Lanzhou West railway station. There is a bus 136 that runs just outside the hostel and gets you to the railway station in 20 minutes. Hope this helps someone deciding on where to stay in Lanzhou, since there doesn't seem such a good range of hostels. Fue un alojamiento perfecto en todos los sentidos. Me hospedé aquí durante mi viaje de Xi'an a Urumqi, y su mayor ventaja fue que organiza sus propios programas turísticos. El hecho de que se pudiera hablar inglés también fue muy satisfactorio. Reservé excursiones al Templo Maji y a las Gargantas de Piedra de Siete Colores, y disfruté mucho de ambas, ya que hice buenos amigos. Recomiendo encarecidamente este alojamiento a los mochileros que viajen a Zhangye.

The place is a cheap solid utilitarian option in an excellent location. This is not a hostel for the meek. As far as I can tell: there are at least 16 sleep pods and one bathroom. (A 2-liter Platypus water bladder can, as always, help men not need to use the bathroom to pee as much (also great for not needing to leave the from room at all, for that.) There is a very accesible stairwell for any serious emergency- just bring a container and your TP. Bring your own toilet paper. No towel service. I am not sure my sheets were clean- I just slept in my clothes. The whole place needs a good scrub-down. WiFi is by QR-code only. Potable water appeared to be provided. Sleep pod had decent lighting and sockets. No carpets. Finding and accessing the building takes a little detective work but the person managing their account sent me decent enough pics to find my way. I got into and out of the building by following tenants- never needed to solo. The picture of the small room I got for $2 extra was not the one in the picture- it was actually in a pod; but the pod was in a good location. The place is a cheap solid utilitarian option in an excellent location.

La habitación está limpia y ordenada, con fundas de inodoro desechables y paquetes separados de champú y gel de ducha, lo cual es genial. La jefa es guapa, amable y es fácil comunicarse con ella. Te presentará a los grupos de tours de uno y tres días de la tienda, sin exagerar. También te recomendará qué comida deliciosa hay cerca. La ubicación del albergue juvenil es muy buena, a solo 2 kilómetros de la estación de Zhangye Oeste, y puedes caminar hasta la antigua calle Ming y Qing. Es muy conveniente para encontrar comida deliciosa. ¡Lo recomiendo encarecidamente!

The staff and volunteers were all great! I am truly impressed by how helpful they were. I think the young boss should take credit for this - staff seems to have autonomy to make decisions and therefore were confident and sure of what they could offer. My two favourite persons from the hostel in the pictures : ) But this morning there were another staff and a volunteer who really went out of their way to consider and advise two travellers regarding hitchhiking. I wasn't disturbed by the smell of the camels. Location wise, it's really convenient to visit the oasis and sand dunes. Downside : food in the area is limited in choice and quite costly. Plus: it's really not that far from the city. There's a bus #3 that takes you for ¥2 to the city and back. Didi rides are also mostly under ¥10 to the city.

A las 5:30 de la mañana, me dirigí a la estación de Zhangjiang, me dirigí al hotel de Qingjiang, no estaba en el día, el jefe estaba despierto, abrió la puerta, dejó la maleta para el desayuno, volví a las 8:00, el jefe me ayudó a quedarme sin oro.Nunca había vivido un viaje tan hermoso y cómodo. Lavandería es conveniente, hay lavabos de agua para lavar el pelo, limpiar todas las cajas de papel y todas las chicas. No vayas a ninguna parte, sentarse en el pequeño jardín es muy descomprimido.

Me encanta este albergue por sus vibes - realmente grandes propietarios que son informativos y útiles, y por supuesto, amigables. Es literalmente justo fuera de la entrada principal al museo y al fort. Al principio pensé que sería muy lejano y fuera del camino, pero podría llegar a él con autobús público desde la estación de tren (aunque a alguna distancia) y hay varios restaurantes alrededor de la zona que no sólo están alojados para turistas con locos El hotel dispone de un restaurante con buenas opciones de comida. Instalaciones buenas incluyen un área de lavandería, una cocina, una máquina de hielo (utilizan agua en botella)....

La decoración de estilo *******o primero llevará a los turistas a una tierra extranjera y los preparará para comenzar a viajar ~ La casera es muy entusiasta, me cuida y saluda todos los días, y además me recomienda lugares adecuados para visitar (viene con guía). Después de jugar todos los días, regresé a la posada, me lavé y dormí en una habitación limpia y cómoda, y partí lleno de energía al día siguiente. Al jefe y a su esposa les encanta viajar y compartirán sus experiencias de viajes alrededor del mundo. La cuestión es: ¡la posada sólo estará abierta medio año! Porque el jefe y su esposa tienen que salir a bailar el resto del tiempo ~ Por lo tanto, recomiendo a todos que vengan a Dunhuang para experimentar esta posada, ¡pero primero deben confirmar si está abierta!

Este hotel es realmente difícil de encontrar, oculto en un lugar muy profundo en el edificio. El calor en la habitación es enorme y el aire acondicionado se espera hasta que sea tarde. La sala está llena de equipaje y otras cosas, prácticamente no hay lugar para estacionar. La caja de almacenamiento de la habitación es demasiado pequeña, mi maleta no está en la caja. Hay cuatro baños comunes entre hombres y mujeres, pero a pesar de que su tía se lava a menudo, los hombres siempre se suelen hacer muy sucios y se usan realmente muy mal. Tengo un techo bajo en mi cama, me siento superpreso cuando duermo, y casi se está presionando. El Wi-Fi es muy útil, y la ubicación es muy buena, muy cerca de la estación de tren y un restaurante. No habría sido mucho el hotel de Lanzhou, preferiría vivir en un lugar mejor la próxima vez.
