Si estás buscando un lugar perfecto de 4 estrellas en el centro de la ciudad, ¡no busques más! Este lugar es una buena ganga durante todo el año e incluso en temporada alta. Voy a dividir mi reseña en secciones tan claras para mí. 1) Habitaciones: Las habitaciones, anticuadas, necesitan un trabajo de pintura serio y el sofá tiene un material bastante ”rayado”. A pesar del interior molesto, los pisos son bastante acogedores y tienen todo lo necesario. En cuanto al paisaje, aquellos que no temen a las alturas solicitan las habitaciones con balcón. Tal vez no tengan las vistas del centro comercial de Shanghai, ¡pero la brisa de la tarde me hizo dormir como un bebé! Además, la televisión estaba llena de películas nostálgicas, realmente disfruté el entretenimiento. Aunque el volumen del televisor no sube demasiado, supongo que es un buen respeto hacia los vecinos, algunos de los cuales son inquilinos a largo plazo. 2) Servicio: Impecable. ¡La gente aquí, aunque claramente con exceso de trabajo, es muy amable! ¡Las amas de llaves son maravillosas! Ellos fueron los que me dejaron volver a un piso limpio todos los días, ¡realmente fue un pedazo de hogar con mucha ayuda! Para champús, acondicionadores y gel de ducha, deberá informar a la recepción que los necesita, ¡así que téngalo en cuenta! 3) Desayuno: lo suficiente para sobrevivir, soy bastante exigente con mis gustos en la comida, donde las opciones de buffet eran muy escasas y desafortunadamente no muy sabrosas. La vista desde los grandes ventanales es realmente buena, especialmente la vista nocturna por la noche. La habitación es muy grande y está decorada con buen gusto, y la cama es tamaño king y muy cómoda. Es higiénico y limpio, sin puntos ciegos. El proyector de la marca de 100 pulgadas tiene alta definición y es muy agradable ver películas. El transporte es conveniente. La entrada del metro está justo abajo. Very good apartment in one of the skyscrapers in the Suzhou Industrial Park district. Despite our request to live on the higher floor with a lake view, we lived in the apartment on the 27th (from 47) floor with the city view. Probably, they just don't have lake-view apartments. However, there is another skyscraper in front of our building. Though, the room was perfect! Very clean, with home shoes, slippers, bath and face towels, teeth kits, kitchen (fridge, microwave, kettle). However, there was no cookware or dishware. We also needed an iron (as was promised in the room description), but the administrator brought us a steamer (which is even better) a few hours after the request. There are many convenient stores around, where you can buy even cooked food. In general, we recommend this place to everyone! Однако, прямо перед этим небосрёбом находится другой со стороны как раз озера. И всё равно, сама комната оказалась просто превосходной! Очень чистая, с домашними тапочками, душевыми сланцами, банными и лицевыми полотенцами, зубным набором, кухней (холодильник, микроволновка, чайник). Однако, не было ни посуды для приготовления, ни столовой посуды. Когда нам понадобился утюг (а он был обещан в описании номера), мы попросили администратора, и тот принёс отпариватель (что даже удобнее) через несколько часов. Вокруг здания много небольших магазинчиков, в том числе с готовой едой. В общем и целом, мы рекомендуем это место для всех путешественников!

A couple of days ago, we checked into Oakwood Hotel & Residence Suzhou at around 11 p.m., so we missed the beautiful lake view. The apartment was spacious, and the front desk staff were kind and welcoming. Unfortunately, when we entered the room, we noticed a strong musty smell coming from the carpet. There were many visible stains, and some areas looked worn and dark. After such a long trip, this was disappointing. If we hadn’t arrived so late, we probably would have asked for a different room. I hope someone from the hotel can take a look at the carpet in this room. If it can’t be cleaned properly, I believe replacing it or even removing it would make the room feel much cleaner and more comfortable. The location, apartment, and staff are all wonderful, and updating the carpet would bring the room up to the same high standard.

We had a wonderful stay at Somerset Baitang Suzhou. The location is excellent — accessible to Metro Line 1, making it easy to travel to popular sightseeing spots and the Suzhou Industrial Park High-Speed Rail Station. Our family room was spacious, clean, and quiet, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. We really appreciated the strict no-smoking policy in the rooms, which kept the air fresh. The gym was well equipped, and we loved the thoughtful touch of refreshment drinks available in the reception area. Breakfast was served buffet-style with a good balance of Chinese and Western options. The staff were professional and courteous, communicating fluently in both English and Mandarin. They were also quick to respond via the residence’s WeChat, which made everything from inquiries to requests very convenient. Overall, an excellent stay that combines comfort, convenience, and great service — highly recommended for families and travelers alike
