Very pleasant establishment. Clean room, friendly staff, good food for a dinner takeout and breakfast the next morning. We came in around 8pm from long ride and was greeted with a smile and an offer for takeout dinner from the restaurant on sight when it closed at 9pm. Room was clean, hot shower with good pressure, comfortable beds with warm bedding, good working A/C and a beautiful balcony view, all reasonably priced. Breakfast next morning was friendly, accommodating, fresh and better than a typical hotel included breakfast. Wonderful restaurant atmosphere and design! Would definitely recommend though we r from NY in US. Deb and Mark Weinsheimer

It was unclear to me when I booked online that a “physical” credit card was required to use for a damage deposit. *I had loaded my credit card to my wallet on my iPhone & left the physical card @ home. (I don’t carry a purse, so this was a great option for me). The motels policy was credit card to use as a damage deposit…NO exceptions 😱 I had offered to use cash, but, was told no 😱😱 It just so happened that I had a credit card tucked away in my glove box or I would have been out of luck…would not have been allowed to check in & would have lost $400 on the room rental. SO…beware travellers!!

Si estás planeando hacer el Cabot Trail, y no empezando en Sydney, este es un gran lugar para quedarse antes de empezar el coche. Las habitaciones son confortables y tranquilas, y el lavandería en el lugar era grande - nos ha ahorrado mucho tiempo tratando de encontrar uno en los próximos días. El hotel está muy bien situado, y el desayuno es uno de los mejores en nuestro viaje hasta ahora, con mucho fruto fresco.

Absolutely wonderful experience! The place was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. Parking and Wi-Fi were both excellent. The highlight was definitely the breakfast—you order it the night before by scanning a QR code, and in the morning it’s ready to pick up. It was generous, delicious, and really well prepared. The host was also very kind and welcoming. Highly recommend!

i was a little bit reluctant because of the low rating in google, but when we had our stay there, it wasnt bad at all. the only thing that id say wasnt really good was the breakfast. not much to choose from, and the poor taste of coffee. Nevertheless, for its price, id stay here again.

I always have a good experience at this motel. It is just down the road from my daughter’s home so very convenient. It is comfortable and cozy. My room was a housekeeping unit so would be convenient for a longer stay to cook a few meals in the unit.  The bed was very comfortable.

El hotel tiene sólo 6 habitaciones y es un antiguo edificio histórico. Así que todo es algo brillante. Se oyó cuando alguien usaba la toalla. El hotel está en una calle más conducida y, lamentablemente, se oyen los coches. Tenemos el sol y no podíamos oscurecerlo. No recomendar a las personas que necesitan oscuridad. Es muy bien decorado, pero el duche no funcionó correctamente, la electricidad en el baño se había desaparecido y se tuvo la impresión de que era necesario una renovación técnica. El personal es muy agradable. El desayuno es más bien visual. Todo contado y no se prevé un aplazamiento. Está justo al lado de la bodega. Hemos hecho una muestra y queríamos que se escribira en la habitación, pero no fue porque las empresas están separadas. Puede hacerlo, pero no es fácil para los clientes. Todo en conjunto para 1-2 Noche OK, pero nuestras expectativas fueron mayores.

Our family of three was traveling to Halifax and finally booked this motel. Very nice quiet environment with a beautiful view of the river. The service staff was very nice. I will go again if I have the chance.

This hotel is near Peggy’s cove, but I don’t recommend you stay here because it’s too expensive and there is just one restaurant and one store around this motel. You can drive to Halifax for more choices.
