Ventajas: Excelente ubicación, en pleno centro de la ciudad, a poca distancia a pie de Stanley Park, Gastown y centros comerciales; buena recepción y desayuno. Desventajas: Poca presión de agua en el baño, inodoro muy pequeño; las sábanas estaban muy sucias y polvorientas; ¡un huésped asiático mayor particularmente grosero! Algunos huéspedes también hicieron que la habitación oliera mal y la ventilación era deficiente.

Las habitaciones están limpias y el hotel es muy cómodo. Hay una piscina de agua caliente en el patio y podrá relajarse en el baño de aguas termales en traje de baño. Se recomienda un restaurante de carnes cercano. (fotografía)

This hotel was built in 1885 with historical background according to the pictures on the wall. It would be more informative if there was a more thorough descriptions next to the pictures and become a museum like Inn. We stayed in the Superior King room with balcony, the river view was excellent. This little town is very tranquil with relaxing vibe. We loved to stay in the balcony, unfortunately, there is no any BBQ or stove for cooking here, or we would love to stay more days. There is also no sun umbrella or shaded place in the balcony, and it could be very bright and hot even during 11C in the summer. Our room is the closest to the car park, but we can’t access the stairs directly down to the car park. Instead, we had to detour in the hotel, walked the a few levels of stairs with passing two doors to the car park. There are more than a dozen of stairs in the hotel. Elderly and anyone with leg or back problems need to be aware of it. 
Our room has been renovated recently. Everything maintains in very good condition, besides of the air conditioning. The air conditioning system was connected to another three rooms in the same isle. If any of the room turns on the heater while everyone is using the cool mode, the air conditioning will be shown in error. Thanks for Meghan that she was willing to come back to the hotel for us in 5 mins even it was out of her work time. She has been very helpful and nice during our stay. She is the best front desk I have seen on this island. We were happy with our stay, even we noticed that the noisy music from the pub right under the hotel level not only on in the weekend until midnight. However, we felt that compressor next to us had been noisy all day. We only felt quiet after we turned off the bathroom ventilator, air conditioning and closed the window. There was also two washing machines and one dryer on site charging only CAD$2 for each laundry. I think this is the cheapest laundry service on the island. The last but not least is the bath towels. We can’t stand with it snowing with crushes. I would suggest people bringing their towels. And the water pressure was too weak like a garden pot watering.

It was a pretty good place to stay in downtown Vancouver. I chose this hostel because I had to wait for my next flight and didn’t have much time there, but I really appreciated the staff letting me check in early. I arrived about an hour before check-in time expecting to just wait, but my room was already ready and they let me in right away, which I was very grateful for because I was exhausted and really needed some sleep. I didn’t stay long, but during my time there everything was comfortable and I had a good experience overall.

Es realmente genial, tiene una excelente relación calidad-precio, es tranquilo, limpio y está muy cerca del centro de la ciudad y de los restaurantes de los alrededores. Ya me he alojado aquí dos veces y sin duda volvería a elegir este lugar la próxima vez.

This is an ancient hotel but with very convenient location and plenty of parking lots. The room is clean and tidy with romantic dim lighting in the room area. Simple breakfast comes with boiled eggs [very limited quantity and you won't get one if even at 9am], cereal, breads, muffin, yogurt, milk and coffee. Surprised that there's sauna room and a small pool. Helpful and polite Front Desk staffs with efficient services.

We had a great experience with this place, cozy, quiet place to stay. Very convenient location, room is clean, all facilities are well maintained. We were offered with coffee and tea for free, all instructions were explained patiently. Will be our first choice to book next time we visit Richmond.

Después de vivir el tercer día, sentí que las instalaciones estaban completas, la salud también era muy buena, el entorno estaba tranquilo, el servicio estaba bien, la estancia rápida, la práctica económica, y luego vivía, no está lejos de allí

Excelente ubicación. Fácil de llegar a cualquier lugar del centro. El personal es amable y simpático. No había tanto ruido por la noche como esperaba. Quizás había gente de fiesta caminando por el pasillo y charlando hasta altas horas de la noche. Pero no duró mucho y no afectó mucho el sueño. No se puede pedir demasiado a un hostal como este. Lo recomiendo para quienes viajan solos y necesitan una estancia corta en Van City.

El lugar cerca del aeropuerto y el puerto es conveniente para el día siguiente. Todo el hotel tiene un ascensor. Es muy difícil esperar que haya una posición para salir de la mañana en el pico, especialmente con el equipaje para salir por las escaleras. El entorno general es bueno, es el problema de los electrodomésticos
