We have just spent a week in Nomad Yurts. Our stay was amazing. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The location is great if you like staying a little distance away from the crowded area. It’s about a kilometre or 5 minutes scooter ride away. Our host, Chingy, was incredibly helpful and friendly. We highly recommend staying in Nomad Yurts. 5 stars

Ideal for solo travelers and couples without babies. The place is squeaky clean but there is a shared shotlet bathroom. Still very clean. It’s located next to a busy road so I couldn’t sleep all night with the tricycles passing by and there was also a baby from one of the guests that was crying but not too much. If you like sleep and you’re a light sleeper don’t go there. The location is not great cos of this.

La habitación es amplia, hay un baño, pero todo está muy girado, no me importaría un poco de mejora. La habitación no tenía suficientes cuchillos y cuchillos en el baño, las cosas tenían que ser dobladas justo en el piso.

100% recomendado. Operado por una familia muy amable que nos organizaron TODO, tours, transporte, a precios muy accesibles y la comodidad de que te hacen todo. El desayuno lo cambiaron para nosotras al ser vegetarianas y también se ocuparon de pedir comida apta para los tours. La habitación tiene ventilador que funciona bien, baño y una cama cómoda. Buena ubicación a diez min del aeropuerto. Volvería muchas veces mas !

We stayed for 3nights and the location are nice and quiet, just expect the brownout/no power as it seems normal in Puerto Galera but they do have back up generator which is nice. The ambience of the surrounding, the pool and the bar are amazing. Overall, we are happy and definitely will go back to this resort.

Casalay Resort truly felt like a home away from home. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the amazing staff who made us feel like family. Everyone was incredibly kind, thoughtful, and genuinely caring — we especially loved catching up with them after our daily activities. It’s those small, personal touches that made our stay so special and unforgettable. The resort itself is a peaceful and beautiful escape — the villas are charming and surrounded by nature. Breakfast was always delicious and filling, the perfect way to start each day. We do have a few small suggestions that might make future stays even better: 1. Blackout curtains on the villa verandas for those who like to sleep in. 2. Clothing hooks in the shower or changing rooms would be super convenient. 3. It would be great to have an option for two queen beds in rooms, especially for friends traveling together. 4. And if all villas are fully booked, we think it would be such a lovely idea for the resort to organize a long dinner or a small evening activity for all guests to connect and enjoy the evening together under the stars. Overall, we had an amazing experience and are already looking forward to coming back. Thank you again to the entire Casalay team for making our stay so warm, relaxing, and memorable. Hoteles en la selva, lo que es necesario! Una ubicación increíble con vistas al mar, desde la mañana en la ventana parece una foto! El desayuno incluido es muy bueno por el camino, muy delicioso y puedes elegir lo que quieras. Desde la inconveniente, excepto que subiendo a la montaña, a las casas, el baño no está en la habitación y la distancia a la playa (arbol) minutos a pie (en la bicicleta en absoluto sin problemas)

First and foremost, I would like to express how much I appreciated the serene environment and the thoughtful design of the space. The scenery was breathtaking, and it was wonderful to feel so connected to nature. The eco-friendly amenities and décor truly made for a unique and refreshing experience. However, I did encounter one challenge during my stay. Unfortunately, there was no hot shower available, which made it somewhat difficult to freshen up after a day of outdoor activities. While I understand that being eco-friendly often involves conservation measures, a warm shower would have greatly enhanced my experience. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and am grateful for the opportunity to connect with nature in such a lovely setting. I hope you consider adding hot shower facilities in the future, as it would make a significant difference for guests.
