I had a truly wonderful stay at this retreat. The place itself is absolutely spectacular — very calming, beautifully maintained, and surrounded by breathtaking views. The deck is stunning, and it was the perfect spot to relax and unwind. The owners were exceptionally friendly and went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and looked after throughout my stay. Their hospitality genuinely stood out. The dogs were lovely and added so much warmth to the experience. Breakfast was excellent, and the variety of teas available was out of this world. As a female solo traveller, I felt completely safe, comfortable, and well cared for, which is something I value highly. The atmosphere is peaceful and nurturing — exactly what you want from a retreat. The only minor downside is that it’s a bit far from the shops (around a one-hour walk). However, this was easily managed as Uber is only a 6-minute drive, and the hosts were also kind enough to offer lifts when possible. Overall, an absolutely stunning place, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and memorable stay

Stay is fine but kitchen has no utensils. Extra rental is needed. Why not just collect deposits for borrowing them, but instead they charge it.

El personal fue amable y servicial. La habitación era básica y pequeña, pero estaba bien para un par de noches. Estaba muy concurrida por motociclistas y hay una prohibición de ruido después de las 22:00, pero las paredes son finas, así que se oía bastante aunque la gente no fuera ruidosa. Unas vistas estupendas desde nuestra habitación cuando las chicas de al lado no tenían la ropa tendida.

El hotel es acogedor, tienen una zona de cocina donde tienes acceso a café y té gratis, lo cual se agradece. La chica fue muy amable. La habitación no es muy grande y está un poco anticuada, pero suficiente para pasar una noche.

El hotel está situado en el centro de la ciudad, a 10 minutos a pie de la zona principal de la ciudad. La habitación era espaciosa y bien mantenida, aunque tenga en cuenta que usted tendrá que subir algunas escaleras para acceder a determinadas habitaciones, pero fue realmente una estancia maravillosa y le recomendamos encarecidamente :)

Here is a nice lodge and location is excellent. Even walk to town central just 10 mins. However, the lodge is including 3 rooms and each room for 3 or 4 guests. I stayed the night with a big ********* family they are living 2 rooms up to 6 or 7 ppl. In Chinese new year night they have a big party dinner until 1am. They ignored other guests and keeps make noise the whole night. Terrible.

If you use Google Maps, remember to select the pedestrian path for directions. Otherwise, it may guide you to an abandoned house. The view from the dining room was nice, but we found some short blond hairs on the bed. We weren't too concerned about it, but others might be. The breakfast is quite Western—bread and jam, with milk or yogurt. It's a nice place, suitable for a short nap before takeoff. Nearby Saddle Hill is a great spot for viewing the Southern Lights if the timing is right. You could also ask John for local tips—he might know the best viewing spots. Este es un castillo lleno de historia y anécdotas, con vistas especialmente hermosas de los jardines del castillo y del lago que lo domina. Aunque los baños son compartidos, están excepcionalmente limpios y son abundantes; no había muchos huéspedes, así que no hubo necesidad de hacer cola. El desayuno fue excepcionalmente lujoso, delicioso y servido con un servicio aristocrático. Recomiendo encarecidamente este hotel.

Love love love the location! ❤️ 😍 💖 2-3 minutes walk to Queenstown mall which u dont have to worry as there are shops, halal restaurants and 4 Square where u can get ur last min groceries. Also nearby the skyline which one of a MUST GO attraction in Queenstown. Big rooms and suitable for families of 4. Cozy and comfortabl beds. Staff at the reception very friendly and it makes us guests feels welcome all the time!
