Lovely friendly place next to the river. Plenty of parking facilities just over the bridge which is approx five minute walk.  The room itself is spacious enough although for some may be a little dated. Bed is comfortable with a lovely duvet and pillows. Only downside was the curtains which are not blackout so do let in too much light for me but heyho I still had a reasonable night sleep  To get to the room we stayed in, we had to walk up a spiral staircase which for some people, this could be a struggle as the steps have been assembled quite tightly due to space so make the steps on the small side, there is obviously a handrail so coming down side ways helps.  Breakfast was continental consisting of fruit, cereal, yoghurt ( which was exceptionally tasty) toast etc. An English breakfast was offered at an additional cost but we preferred this option.  All in all a lovely place to stay with friendly welcoming hosts who were on hand to offer advise and assistance should you need it.

Booked a last minute break and have to say what a little gem this hotel is. We were welcomed by the owners Steve & Wendy who the most friendly and down to earth people you would ever wish to meet. Their attention to detail is second to none. Complimentary home baked Bakewell tart, fresh milk if needed and an even honesty bar whereby you are trusted to serve your own drinks and settle upon departure. Never came across this before at any hotel stay, just shows what genuine good people the owners are. The hotel is immaculate, tastefully decorated and only a few moments stroll to the sea front. We had the best nights sleep, mattress was extremely comfortable and bed linen was of high quality. Lovely freshly cooked breakfast made to order with additional fresh continental offerings available. This hotel failed to disappoint we can’t wait to visit again.

A must stay for couples! The view was incredible (y puedes ver en las fotos abajo)! We also had a fantastic meal at The Rockfish restaurant, and the hotel's location couldn't be more convenient for all the shops/bars/restaurants in the port. Si no está seguro de dónde permanecer - no perder tiempo buscando en otro lugar, puedo recomendar 100% quedarse en Arran Lodge. Nos impresionó tanto lo bien que nos cuidamos, una habitación limpia y mantenida con todo lo que quizás necesites, incluyendo un tratamiento de bienvenida - torta de casa, espacio para estacionar el coche fuera de la casa, ¡Una recepción y la más maravillosa elección de desayuno! Ha estado aquí algunas veces y siempre ha disfrutado. Las habitaciones están un poco fechadas, pero son todas hermosas y limpias, eso es todo lo que importa. Así que todos están cubiertos 😊 10 minutos a pie del mar, pubs, Diversión. Seguramente estarán de nuevo 😊

Great location, only 5 minutes walk from Exeter St David's train station. I've only stayed for one night due to business travelling. The breakfast variety and service experience was great, a good variety of refreshments. The building itself shows its age, and my floor was very squeaky, I hope there were no tenants below me! I've opted on with the shared bathroom option and the bathroom was sparkling clean. Overall great place!

Wonderful stay Sam the barman was a superstar rescuing us from the cliff walk before dark. Thanku Sam for Yr kindness and help and carrying our bag! Overall stay was amazing. Clean and fresh room. Breakfast was outstanding with loads of choice. Service was fabulous. The cleaner was so helpful when we needed info Thanks everyone. And Sam we are so grateful. We thought we may have to camp on South West path over night!!!

We booked a room with a sea view. Clearly stated this in the booking and on Trip. Apparently that means nothing according to the manager and the fact that you can book one doesn’t mean you’ll get it he said. I doubt there are sea views from any room as the pub is up a side road. Still, very good location. The member of staff who greeted us could not have been nicer. Close to good restaurants.
