Our stay at the J. Mountain hotel was beyond our wildest dreams. I rarely leave reviews but our 3 nights here were so stunningly exceptional that we felt driven to express our gratitude and appreciation for the stellar staff, service, and beautiful setting of this hidden gem of a hotel. The service was without exception some of the best if not the best I have ever experienced at a hotel, and I travel often, having visited over 20 countries in the last few years alone and stayed at many beautiful and well-known five-star hotels and brands. Despite being a very young hotel (having just opened in September) J. Mountain Hotel holds its own and then some. It began months before our stay when we reached out to the hotel on WeChat to ask for guidance on equipment, tickets, and transportation. As we are visiting from America the area isn’t necessarily the easiest to access or plan for. Responses were almost immediate no matter when we reached out and always went above and beyond. For instance, my mother is nearly 70 and although very active was worried about slipping and falling while hiking in icier conditions; they offered to even purchase crampons for us should we wish although they advised us we would not need them for the time of year we were here (they were right). While here their thoughtfulness included texting us updates on and warning us about inclement weather while we were hiking around Huang Shan (there is cell service), drying and fluffing our wet gear when we returned from a particularly wet hike, and most astounding of all resolving an incredibly stressful issue we had with an upcoming flight that had been canceled (they suggested and secured alternative means of transport to a second city and then arranged for a different flight with the airline directly). We must specifically give our thanks to Hotel Manager Ryan, who is young but clearly extremely talented and excels in his role. He not only oversaw and proactively sought to help us on every front but was responsible for resolving our flight emergency. He also clearly had directed staff to help us to their utmost ability at all times, including having breakfast and dinner ready for and served to us at the times we requested. Ryan also personally met us and gave us a tour of the hotel and its history and design, as well as accompanied us to the art gallery and an evening tea tasting held in the gorgeous tea house on the grounds. He checked in with us every day and night and made sure everything was to our liking. Driver Wang Kai was our personal chauffer throughout the stay and was extremely courteous, professional, and attentive; he was always there to pick us up and see us off at multiple locations throughout our trip and not once were we ever allowed to wait. He even brought us hotel slippers and large down jackets to change into out of our soaking wet gear when picking us up at the end of a hike. When we said we did not think we would need some of the gear they offer their guests, we noticed he packed it in the car just in case we changed our minds and needed them later. I could literally go on and on but wanted to make sure I left room to appreciate how beautiful the hotel itself is and how much attention to detail has gone into its design and planning; at almost every turn we discovered something that added to the ease, enjoyment, and comfort of our stay. J. Mountain Hotel, thank you for one of the best experiences we have had in many, many years.

Realmente es mi primera opción vivir recluido en las montañas y cultivar la inmortalidad ~ La ventaja de hospedarse en este hotel es que la experiencia es excelente sin importar el clima. Cuando hace buen tiempo, puedes dar un paseo y observar a los monos en el mar. El pico Shixin está muy cerca, que es un excelente lugar para observar el amanecer sobre el mar de nubes. Si hace mal tiempo, puedes jugar en el hotel, vivir aislado en la montaña, relajarte y disfrutar de la lluvia a través de la ventana y quedarte dormido escuchando la lluvia. Vestíbulo cálido, limpio y hermoso~ ¡Ven a Huangshan, cuanto menos concurrido, mejor será la experiencia! Cuando el paisaje es demasiado escaso, hay demasiada gente en la montaña. Xu Xiake exclamó una vez: “Ni en casa ni en el extranjero, no hay nada como la montaña Huangshan en Huizhou”. El Pino Dando la Bienvenida se alza majestuosamente en el acantilado, extendiendo sus ramas para abrazar el mundo; el Pico del Loto se eleva hacia el cielo, apareciendo y desapareciendo entre las nubes. El Gran Cañón del Mar del Oeste es profundo, misterioso y espectacular, con paisajes que cambian a cada paso; la Cima Brillante ofrece vistas panorámicas, y el amanecer sobre el mar de nubes es magnífico. La singularidad de Huangshan radica en sus paisajes cambiantes y sus estaciones distintas: en primavera, los rododendros florecen con esplendor, y en invierno, el rocío helado brilla como cristales. Además, las inscripciones en las rocas añaden un toque cultural, donde la poesía de literatos y eruditos se entrelaza con la destreza de la naturaleza. Subir a Huangshan es como caminar por un pergamino de tinta china, donde cada vista es una belleza irrepetible. Esta cualidad única le otorga a Huangshan el merecido título de “la montaña más extraordinaria bajo el cielo”.

El aspecto del hotel es muy brillante, especialmente la noche muy bonito, la habitación también es amplia y brillante, la vista está abierta, un ojo verde es muy cerca de Hoshan, y la tienda cercana también es muy deliciosa.

La primera vez que vivía en el pueblo, es realmente super sorpresa. Hay un parque infantil aquí, muy adecuado para viajar por los padres. My stay at Luming Valley Hotspring Holidays B&B exceeded every expectation from the moment we drove up the hill. My husband and I stayed in the Mountainscape Terrace Mountain View Suite, which genuinely felt like a 5‑star hotel room. It was spotless, beautifully furnished, and equipped with an incredibly comfortable bed, a fully stocked mini fridge, and a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains. The smart controls operated by “Xiao Bao” were a fun and convenient touch. We were completely blown away and honestly wished we could have stayed in the room forever. Even before our arrival, the staff communicated with us via WeChat to ensure everything went smoothly. We were able to speak with an English‑speaking staff member who took care of every detail for us—booking the hot springs, arranging breakfast, dinner, and afternoon tea, and even offering to help us get to the train station on our last day. Their attentiveness went far beyond anything we’ve experienced at other hotels. We were even given a thoughtful bag of gifts upon departure. Because the hotel is quite isolated, we ate all our meals on-site. The cuisine is Chinese, which isn’t usually my preference, but everything was delicious, freshly prepared, and presented with great care. A standout was the afternoon tea we enjoyed on our second day. We could choose to dine in our room or at the restaurant, which was perfect depending on how we felt each day. The highlight of our stay was definitely the hot springs. There are four in total, and we used the two located higher on the hill, which offered an incredible view—even on a cloudy day. The temperature was perfect, and everything was exceptionally clean. The staff assured us that each pool is drained and refilled after every use, which gave us great peace of mind. Soaking in the hot springs in the heart of winter, surrounded by Huangshan’s beautiful mountains, was an unforgettable experience. The hotel is about an hour from both Huangshanxi and Huangshanbei stations and easily reachable by car or Didi. Due to the weather, we didn’t visit the mountain scenic area, but the staff were more than willing to help us plan if we wanted to explore the surroundings. This was truly a 10/10 stay. The staff make you feel like you’re the only guests there with their warmth and attentiveness. The design and architecture are stunning, and the hotel even smells amazing. I have absolutely no complaints and would rank this among the best hotels I’ve stayed at anywhere in the world. It’s a perfect romantic getaway, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful escape. I can’t wait to return!

This hotel is located stone throw from both the bus terminals, so location 5 stars. Amenities - rooms, restaurant, foot massage center(cannot locate) and Chinese chess rooms. Not sure, how this hotel is awarded 5 stars? Rooms setup - guess it is time to renovate. Heard the renovation project is approved! Cheers! Services - rooms for improvement! As I had a early flight to catch at 9.50am and the earliest bus from the mountain to the tourist center was 6.30am (again different front desk staffs told me different timings) so I tried to request for a paid car service to send me down. They said the hotel doesn't provide such service, asked me to reach out in the streets to see if the resturants or shop owners can provide such services! 1st time encounter in a 5 stars hotel, really a good learning for me in 2024:)

Mi primera vez en Hefei, elegí el Langham y superó mis expectativas. Primero, el servicio fue excelente. La recepción fue profesional y el servicio de mayordomo personalizado fue muy atento. No tuve que preocuparme por nada. Mención especial a Jane. Hice algunas solicitudes previas como más agua, habitaciones en la misma planta y elección de almohadas, y todo lo organizó perfectamente sin necesidad de recordárselo. Realmente fue muy responsable. He experimentado muchos servicios de hotel, pero este fue el primero con tanta dedicación, responsabilidad y profesionalismo. En segundo lugar, el diseño del hotel es atractivo y las habitaciones están muy bien mantenidas, no se ven viejas. La iluminación es excelente, muy brillante, y todos los botones de control están claramente etiquetados. La relación calidad-precio es muy alta. Mi estancia en Tingquan Xiaoyuan ha sido absolutamente encantadora. Reservé una estadía larga aquí como retiro y descanso del trabajo y es exactamente todo lo que necesito para relajarme y recargar energías. La casa de huéspedes dirigida por un equipo formado por marido y mujer es muy hospitalario y hace un esfuerzo adicional para asegurarse de que mi estadía aquí sea relajante y que tenga todo lo que necesito para trabajar y seguir con mi día. La habitación en la que me alojo está muy iluminada y cuenta con un escritorio para trabajar. Debo decir que la cama también es muy cómoda y he dormido bien todas las noches. El entorno es muy pacífico y tranquilo, con jardines, flores y picos de montañas en la distancia. Estoy bastante contento de quedarme aquí en el valle en lugar de cerca del centro. En términos de servicio, el jefe es muy útil y receptivo a mis mensajes cuando necesitamos hacer alguna pregunta o solicitar que lo recojan después de las caminatas. La jefa es igualmente extremadamente amigable, cálida y amable y se asegura de que mis necesidades y mi bienestar sean atendidos todos los días. Ella me cuidó como a su propia familia. Disfrutamos de una puesta de sol excepcional después de la lluvia y recogimos una caja llena de flores de ciruelo y cerezo. 🌸 Nuestro viaje a Huangshan terminó de maravilla.
