Was a convenient location and check in was easy. However, there was difficulty with the room keys. I entered the room left my purse and one key in the room went out to my car for luggage - entered at the rear door using the key. However, the key failed to work for my room. Had to go to the desk and have a new set of keys made. This happened again the next day as well, however, that time the on call clerk said it frequently happens when using the rear door. If they know it happens why not fix it or warn the client in advance. This was very stressful. The room itself was extremely disappointing. It was supposed to sleep 3 adults yet it contained only a queen size bed and a window ledge. No couch, roll away nothing. The sitting area was non existent. Your options were the bed, the window ledge or a straight back wood desk chair. Not at all comfortable. The television was smaller than my computer monitor definately not more than a 24”. Even though all advertisements stated a refrigerator in the room there was not one. Which meant I was unable to keep any cold drinks in my room. The breakfast was an even bigger joke - cold hard boiled eggs were available one day, cold cereal, very limited fruit if you were not there early there was none it was not refilled. Donuts were prepackaged and old. Was not anything available that was at all desirable. I knew there was not a pool or exercise room which I did not expect however, for 100 a night in Delphos, OH I expected more. I had a handicapped room as I have 2 artificial knees and occasionally have difficulity with low toliets and tubs. The room showed handicapped on the exterior door however, the toliet was low and there was not a shower but a tub you had to step into. I spent 3 nights and the only maid service I received was towel replacement - the bed was not made and I do not believe the vaccum was ran. One day I someone had left their pass key in my room along with a roll of wastepaper bags. I took it to the desk and told the clerk I thought #6 would be looking for their keys in the morning. Not a thank or any sense of concern. I entered the lobby at various times of the day and evening and I don't believe I EVER saw anyone sitting at the desk just a sign that read ring bell for service. They were not even in the office directly behind the desk. To say I was disappointed would be putting it mildly I can assure you I will not be returning to this facility or any other Microtel in the future. Stay away it is definetly worth an additional 20-30 to get an indoor pool, hot breakfast, king size bed, comfortable chair as well as an adjustable desk chair with a refrigerator and microwave in your room which you did not get here. Stay in Van Wert at the Comfort Inn or Holiday Inn express.

¡Me encanta este hotel! Mi habitación era limpia y acogedora. Me encantan los hoteles donde usted entra directamente a su habitación desde el estacionamiento. Me quedaría definitivamente aquí otra vez! No estoy seguro del nombre de las damas del escritorio delantera, pero ella era increíble!

I found this place near a new contracted job due to a 8.0⭐️on this website. I read the reviews stating that they were revamping the hotel but was a great stay. So I took a chance on it and it was affordable. Shannon at the desk was amazing when I checked in. Walked into my room at the end of the hall…most doors down the hallway were open, no locks/handles on most doors so kinda felt like I had the place to myself while upgrading. The room looked like it was still being worked on but would do for a couple days. Noticed food crumbs all of the floor. Took it as maybe their vacuum wasn’t working, you know well, things happen….but when I went to grab the ice bucket, it was full of mold. Not only inside the plastic liner but when I took the liner out was full of mold along with the lid. Well seems like word gets around town about the fact that most rooms are not locked and wide open anyone could walk into and stay the night there and it was nonstop all night long of slamming doors and stomping around. I got little sleep the first night, worked a 14 hour shift on no sleep. Second night, same thing…slamming doors, a party going on outside my window with loud people and music. Tried to call the front desk from my room with only a busy signal. No answer. Had to walk to the front desk to speak to someone. I don’t remember his name, but explained the situation. He was nice…saying I’m not trying to be a Karen but I cannot take care of patients with minimal sleep from the night before and handled it but while he didn’t even give me a chance to get to my room walked right in front of me to confront them. Mind you I’m a woman by myself trying to go make a living caring for patients out of state. The gap around my door after being shut and locked at the end of a hallways is beyond concerning for my safety. I will not go back. They did do their best to make it right with the ice bucket and the shady stuff going on both nights. But if you are a woman trying to find a place to stay I would highly not recommend this place. I do not have pics of the bucket and floor because i could not find it at the time.

Our stay at The Lodge was nice. There were a few little things that I questioned, but that honestly is normal & did not really effect our stay. Everything in the lodge was clean & I do not know what wonderful smell they are pumping through the building... but walking into the lobby was wonderful! The decor was nicely decked out in holiday cheer! The Christmas Trees were beautiful too. We booked a King Suite, as the pic on Trip.com showed a jacuzzi tub in the suite. This is not the case. In fact, The staff at the front desk said they have not had jacuzzi tubs in the rooms for over 8 years. That was a disappointment... And King suites do not have a balcony, but Queen suites do have a balcony with sliding doors! They front desk did not offer to help with that misunderstanding, as offering a ”Fireplace room” (they said the jacuzzi rooms now had fireplaces after the removal of said tubs??... but no fireplace in my suite) or offering anything else... probably because I booked thru a third party(trip.com). It was definitely a spacious room, but a little overly ”roomy” with just a king bed, 2 nightstands,the entertainment/dresser, completely with a fridge in the cabinet, a very small ”dining table”, a glass coffee table & a pull out couch. The thermostat was set at a scorching 75 degrees, which I immediately turned down. At first, I figured it was just a fluke, but the power did go out one evening & sure enough, when the power was restored the thermostat reset to 75 again! We dined at the bar on a few occasions, which was nice & staffed ok, not the latest hours for a bar. The food is good & of course a little pricey. I'm sure there is a lot more to do during the nicer seasons... the answer for everything it seemed was ”it is the off season”. Overall, it was a nice place to stay in wine country & probably will return next year.

Viajando por una muerte en la familia, a nuestra llegada, que fue un poco más allá del check 3:00PM en nosotros se nos informó que estaban cortos en el mantenimiento de la casa y no estaba disponible una habitación y si estaba bien con una habitación con discapacidad, No tenía problemas porque estoy deficiente. No hay biggie, fuimos a cenar. El problema era que no recibimos una llamada telefónica hasta después de 6PM, 3 horas después de que podíamos inspeccionar y nuestra habitación era una habitación estándar, claramente no para ayudar a las personas con discapacidad. Si hubiese sido un servicio de vistas esa noche, sería un problema importante porque tuvimos que poner nuestros bienes en otro cuarto de familiares. Cuando finalmente llegamos a nuestra habitación, había como 2 piezas de papel higiénico en el rodillo sin rodillos adicionales disponibles. La última noche, me despertó un alarma que me despertó de otra habitación antes de que yo tenía mi propio alarma. No estaba a punto de ir y tratar de localizar este misterioso alarma y de cerrarlo, pero el alarma se extendió bien durante 15 a 20 minutos. El personal que estaba en la vista fue muy amable y útil para su mejor capacidad, considerando su falta de personas para hacer los trabajos necesarios y me encantó que estaba aparcando para los veteranos. Si viajaba con mi esposa y mis hijos, optaría por un hotel diferente, pero ver cómo era este el lugar donde mi familia decidió que todos nosotros ibamos para que podamos estar juntos en nuestro tiempo de tristeza, es lo que es. No voy a mirar a esta cadena de hoteles para planes de viaje futuros.

I had a very disappointing and uncomfortable experience with the front desk staff. I arrived at the hotel Sunday 01 march around 12:30 PM and politely asked if early check-in was possible. The two women working at the reception told me that no rooms were available until 4:00 PM. I said that was fine and that I would wait in the lobby. However, while I was waiting, several other guests arrived and they were checked in immediately. It was very clear that rooms were available, which made the situation feel unfair. Later, I approached the desk again with the same guests who were checking in and said that I had a reservation for today. The receptionist acted as if nothing had happened and looked visibly annoyed. During check-in, she tried to charge my card again for the reservation, even though my booking had already been fully paid online. When I saw the amount and asked what it was for, she could not clearly explain it. I had to tell her again that the reservation was already paid. Both receptionists then started checking the system and appeared irritated and nervous in front of other guests. Eventually they explained that there was a security deposit of $50 per day, which I completely understood and agreed with. However, they attempted to charge the wrong amount again, and I had to question it once more before they finally corrected the charge to the proper deposit amount. Overall, the situation was extremely uncomfortable and unprofessional. First I was told to wait until 4 PM while other guests were checked in, and then I had to deal with confusion about charges that should have been clear from the beginning. The hotel facilities are good, but the front desk service was very disappointing and needs improvement.

La habitación es grande y amplia, las instalaciones son muy completas, microondas, jaulas, lavavajillas, cafeteras deben estar completas. Las mesa también están completas, incluso con bombillas de aceite, se puede hacer algo para comer por sí mismos cuando se quedan cortos.

Not bad of a hotel, wish I utilized the indoor pool though haha but the room was comfortable & clean. The breakfast is alright though nothing extravagant just very basic but at least it was free

This hotel is aging, but the location is amazing! We traveled to Cleveland for my son's birthday trip to a Cavs game. Upon arrival, the valet was extremely congested. No one came out to welcome us or anything so I thought all the valet were out parking cars. Instead, three of them were inside, laughing and talking. There was no mention of cost anywhere, so I was very surprised at the $50/day charge upon checkout. Considering it took them an hour to bring my car back to me upon check out, I would say that charge is VERY exaggerated. When we went to check in, I was surprised that they needed a credit card to hold $200 on. I prepaid and expected they would need a card on file, not to hold funds. Anyway, our first room seemed nice. It had an amazing view of Rocket Arena. But, I decided to rest a minute and when I looked at the ceiling, it was falling apart!! This was something I decided to give a pass on, considering the age of the building. However, when I got up to shower and there was a huge clump of long brown hair on the wall, that was too much for me. I went to the front desk and they were very nice about the issue and quickly moved us to another room. The rooms are basic. There is an armoire with an iron, two bottles of water, a coffee maker and coffee and a mini fridge. The televisions in the rooms are very large, that was nice. Check out was easy, just a lobby full of people all waiting for their cars to show up! The only other thing I can say is that I paid for a supreme room through Trip and was only given a standard room. So, there must be a miscommunication between Trip and the hotels. Be wary...

La ubicación era primo justo a la parte de Interstate 71, era muy fácil de encontrar. La limpieza era buena. Creo que era un gran centro de conferencias en un momento, que ha visto mejores días. La habitación era buena, excepto para la unidad A/C muy alta. No había secador de pelo en el baño. El baño continuó a veces a correr, que me fijé manualmente. La TV era una de las más fáciles de usar para mí. El desayuno continental publicitado consistió en cereales secos para los niños, leche y yogur en la nevera, café débil, jugo de manzana, frutas frescas y harina de ovejas para mezclarse. Necesito más agua caliente para usar. También necesitaba una cafetería de café descafeinado. La habitación era muy buena. La cama era cómoda, y me encantaban las muñecas, estaban justo. Creo que todos los tapices en el lugar necesitaban limpieza de vapor, no huelen, pero estaban muy oscuros. Una vez más, este lugar necesita una gran infusión de efectivo y algunos personal necesitan volver a la escuela de gestión de hospitalidad.
