Excelente ubicación, excelente, trato y servicio por todo el personal, especialmente por el recepcionista que está por las mañanas y que sabe hablar español. Su amabilidad y su atención: excepcional, el que tenga piscina, aunque sea pequeñita, para darse un chapuzón sobre todo en verano, con el calor que hace, es un punto importante a tener en cuenta, y aunque he leído que no avisan de que no tiene ascensor y que muchos casos, como a nosotros, te mandan al segundo piso con muchos escalones, es cierto, pero también ellos te suben y te bajan las maletas. Sin duda, repetiré en este Hotel en mi próximo viaje a Florencia .

El mayor problema es la mala insonorización de las habitaciones; se oye todo en el pasillo. Quienes tengan problemas para dormir deberían elegir esta opción con precaución. Las ventajas son la ubicación conveniente, casi siempre a poca distancia, y el anfitrión, muy amable, que ofrece consigna de equipaje gratuita incluso si no se puede llegar temprano.

Villa Tortorelli is a charming mix between a bed-and-breakfast and a hotel. My experience here was mostly positive, and while there were a few minor issues, I could tell that the staff genuinely does their best to run the villa as smoothly as possible. Check-in & First Impressions The first thing to note is that the villa is designed to work with automated check-in processes, which is great for most travelers. However, it could be better explained to future guests to avoid any confusion. Not everyone will have a working phone or data plan when they arrive in Italy, and it’s important for the villa to have a backup plan in case guests are unable to connect. One simple suggestion would be to provide Wi-Fi access at the entrance of the villa and share the network name and password with guests before their arrival. This would make it easier for everyone to access the automated system without any issues. Room & Comfort I stayed in the Deluxe Suite, located on the first floor of a three-story villa, right next to the breakfast room. At first, I was concerned about noise, but the thick, heavy door completely blocked any sounds from the breakfast area. I never heard a thing in the morning. The room has blackout curtains that provide great privacy and darkness, which I really appreciated. The bathroom was newly renovated with luxury finishes, including stone walls that give it a high-end feel. The room was clean, and the daily housekeeping service kept everything spotless, with fresh towels replaced daily. One of the standout features of Villa Tortorelli is Karen, the person in charge of breakfast service and housekeeping. She is incredibly attentive and hardworking. She ensures that guests are well taken care of, and the breakfast is always well-prepared and served hot. Honestly, if they lose Karen, the villa would lose two stars in reviews. She is one of their greatest assets. Breakfast Experience The breakfast service was excellent. The food is prepared fresh every morning, and Karen makes sure there is always a variety of hot and cold options available. The breakfast room is cozy and inviting, with plenty of choices to start your day off right. The Villa’s Atmosphere & Location The villa is peaceful and surrounded by greenery, making it a relaxing place to stay. It’s also within walking distance of all the major tourist attractions in Florence, which makes it very convenient for exploring the city. One Minor Issue The only negative point during my stay was that the room felt quite cold when I first arrived. However, I reached out to the WhatsApp help service, and the heating system was adjusted quickly. Within a short time, the room felt much warmer and more comfortable. Final Thoughts Overall, Villa Tortorelli is a great option for those looking for a peaceful, well-located stay in Florence. The automated check-in system could use some improvement to avoid any potential issues for guests without a data plan, but aside from that, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the breakfast is excellent, and the staff is very attentive. Would I stay here again? Yes, especially for Karen’s service and the peaceful villa atmosphere!

We stayed at Agriturismo Podere l’Aione during our Tuscany road trip, and overall it was a pleasant stay with warm hospitality, but there is one important point future guests should know. First, the positives. The property itself is very charming and peaceful, surrounded by beautiful Tuscan countryside. The compound is spacious and relaxing, and the small cottage-style rooms feel cosy and private. The rooms appear fairly new (the property is only about four years old) and have modern amenities with a proper heating system, which made the stay comfortable. Parking inside the compound is also very convenient and safe. The hospitality was excellent. The owner’s daughter who welcomed us was very friendly, helpful and lovely. The lady attending breakfast was also incredibly warm and attentive, making the morning experience very pleasant. The people running the place truly make guests feel welcome. However, the main reason for our feedback is that the first photo shown in the listing does not appear to be this property. The image appears twice in the listing and shows a much larger estate with a very big swimming pool and a different compound layout. We booked the stay thinking it was that beautiful estate shown in the photos and were excited to experience that setting. When we arrived, we realised the accommodation is actually a smaller white cottage-style agriturismo, which is still beautiful, but quite different from the property shown in the first images. The one I uploaded the first two picture does not belong to this property. We were quite disappointed. Some more, it is the first image listed in this property, so we thought it is but if not. Because of this, it felt a little misleading at first as we kept wondering where that particular property in the photos was. In terms of pricing, similar agriturismo stays in this region with comparable cottage-style rooms can often be found for around SGD150 per night. However, we paid over SGD250+ which is roughly about 40% higher, because we believed we were booking the property shown in the main photo with the large swimming pool and grand compound. To be clear, the place itself is lovely, cosy, peaceful and well maintained, and the hospitality is wonderful. Our only suggestion would be for the management to update the listing photos so they accurately represent the actual property, which will help future guests have the right expectations. A small note for guests with mobility concerns: since the compound is quite spread out, you may need to walk a short distance and take a few steps to reach some of the cottages. Overall, it is still a charming countryside stay with very kind hosts, but the listing photos should better reflect the actual property

Acabamos de regresar de pasar unos días en el hotel con nuestro bebé de 8 meses y tenemos que decir que quedamos muy satisfechos con nuestra estancia. En cuanto llegamos, nos dieron la habitación, a pesar de haber llegado unas horas antes. La habitación estaba impecable, incluyendo el servicio de limpieza diario, y las toallas estaban perfectas. El personal de recepción fue maravilloso y muy servicial con el cochecito. El personal del restaurante fue encantador, el café estaba bueno y el bufé era pequeño pero estaba bien preparado. Recomendamos encarecidamente este hotel.

Durante mi reciente viaje a Florencia, tuve el placer de alojarme en el Hotel Anglo American. En general, mi experiencia en este hotel fue maravillosa y lo recomendaría con gusto a mis compañeros de viaje. En primer lugar, la ubicación del Hotel Anglo American es magnífica. Situado en el corazón de Florencia, ofrece fácil acceso a las principales atracciones de la ciudad, como el Duomo, el Ponte Vecchio y la Galería Uffizi. Su céntrica ubicación me permitió explorar la ciudad a pie y sumergirme en su rica historia y cultura. El hotel en sí tiene un ambiente encantador y elegante. El interior está decorado con gusto, combinando elementos clásicos con toques modernos. Las zonas comunes, como el vestíbulo y el salón, son acogedoras y ofrecen un espacio cómodo para relajarse después de un día de turismo. El personal del Hotel Anglo American merece un elogio especial. Desde mi llegada, fueron amables, profesionales y atentos. Siempre estuvieron dispuestos a ayudarme con cualquier consulta o solicitud, y sus conocimientos locales y recomendaciones fueron invaluables para ayudarme a explorar la ciudad y descubrir rincones escondidos. Mi habitación en el hotel era espaciosa y estaba bien equipada. La cama era cómoda y las comodidades, incluyendo un televisor de pantalla plana y un minibar, cumplieron con mis expectativas. La limpieza y el orden de la habitación se mantuvieron durante toda mi estancia, gracias al diligente personal de limpieza. Si bien el hotel no cuenta con restaurante, ofrece un delicioso desayuno buffet cada mañana. El desayuno era variado y se adaptaba a todos los gustos y preferencias dietéticas. Disfruté especialmente de la repostería recién horneada y la selección de quesos y embutidos locales. Un pequeño inconveniente fue la ausencia de gimnasio o spa dentro del hotel. Sin embargo, el personal fue muy amable al proporcionarme información sobre gimnasios y opciones de bienestar cercanas, asegurándose de que los huéspedes tuvieran acceso a estos servicios si lo deseaban. En resumen, mi estancia en el Anglo American Hotel Florence fue una experiencia maravillosa. La ubicación privilegiada, el personal atento y las cómodas habitaciones contribuyeron a una visita memorable a esta hermosa ciudad. Si bien la falta de ciertas comodidades fue un inconveniente menor, no afectó significativamente mi satisfacción general con el hotel. Recomiendo el Hotel Anglo American a quienes buscan un hotel céntrico, bien equipado y con un ambiente encantador en Florencia.

El hotel en general increíble. Muy limpio y tenía de todo incluso mi habitación venía con una terracita. Todo muy moderno e intuitivo. Cerca de la estación de tren que se puede ir caminando. Y de nuevo a 20-25min caminando de los lugares de interés turístico más interesantes. Desayuno bueno pero reducido en variedad. Lo único malo que le pondría sería por el aislamiento del ruido con la habitación de al lado. Mi habitación 415 con la que era vecina del 417 si no recuerdo mal. Entre estas dos habitaciones había una puerta que obviamente estaba cerrada; pero lo malo fue el “ruido” que genera y la falta de privacidad. Podía escuchar sin prestar atención casi todo lo que estaba haciendo. No culpo a los coreanos que estaban al lado riéndose, viendo videos,…; pero la verdad este aspecto se tendría que tener en cuanta para tener una experiencia mucho mejor. Todo lo demás fue perfecto.

El desayuno tenía una amplia variedad de opciones y estaba delicioso cada mañana (2 noches). La habitación también estaba limpia y pudimos curar el cansancio de nuestro viaje. Como era la primera vez que viajaba en autobús público dentro de Florencia, tenía problemas para desplazarme entre la estación de Florencia y el hotel, así que terminé usando un taxi. Si domina el transporte en autobús hacia y desde la estación, podrá causar una impresión aún mejor. El hotel en sí estaba bien.

Todo perfecto, al lado de la estación de tren, habitaciones bien distribuidas y con todo lo necesario, en nuestro caso daba a la parte trasera y muy silenciosa, colchón perfecto y con dos almohadas para cubrir cualquier necesidad. El desayuno, simplemente genial, tiene de todo, bollería, tartas, huevos revueltos con panceta, fruta, yogures y mucho más. Personal muy atento y profesional, mis ++++

I was there with my wife for 7 days-6 nights. The location is great, we used it as a base for our daily trips by car. The Apartment was ok, the water in the bathroom sink couldnt go throught fast, which was not that nice. The reception in the night shaft was very kind and friendly. The reception in the day shaft was very uncomfortable, he discussed every single word you said and never try to solve your problems in an easy way. As we checked in, the night shaft told us after we have asked that we could get 1 time free cleaning cause we are staying for 7 days. I told the day reception one day before, and the day after we called and asked when they are comming? The answers were like you are asking a politician why he lost in his elections. Welllll we dont knoww, maybe 10, maybe 3pm, we said sir we want to go out, we dont want to do that before we close our door and be sure that no body is comming. Again he started to philosophize every single explanation. Alot of other examples. In general, the employee can be a problem solver, or making it more complicated. Te kind thing was that i asked him to print me two papers, he did (after telling me to go to the website and search for their email during he has a business card in his hands). The breakfast for extra 12 euro per person was not good, unhealthy, and very very simple and cheap. Not even a fresh juice (juice machine full with sugar instead). First day not any kind of egg, we asked why, they said it is sunday we didnt get egg! Only mini croissants, mini butter, jam, toast, bread, little of salad leaves, if you dont catch the first dish of fresh tomato, you will not see it again. I would not pay more than 5 euro for this breakfast. The place itself was very calm, green, big, and beautiful. It is on the top of the mountain, you have a wonderful restaurant nearby, nice area to walk throught. Good connected to the highway (8-10 minutes to the highway). The gym was very old and neglected. The pool was closed as we we were there.
