I stay here once a year as it is not far from the NEC in Birmingham. The location of the hotel is perfect as so close to the motorway but feels like you are in countryside as so quiet and relaxing. It could probably do with a little TLC as the some of the furniture in my room was looking a little tired but still very clean. The staff are lovely and helpful with good service. I have been to this hotel many times over the years and only used the swimming pool once which is the only downside to this place. I would not use again as not the relaxing hotel experience I anticipated as was very busy. Priority appears to be given to the paying public over hotel residents and the changing room was disgusting with used towels piled high on the floor. Staff were stood around having a laugh with their mates and had to interrupt to ask where to get towels then had to ask another member of the public how to open the lockers. I would continue to use this hotel but wouldn’t risk the swimming pool again.

Después de leer los comentarios y ver imágenes del hotel, me preocupaba quedarme en The Britainnia. El hotel se ha construido en los años 70, pero no ha sido mejor. Mi habitación 330 me saludó con el olor de pintura fresca, carpeta nueva, muebles y un baño recientemente renovado. Para el precio que pague, fue un buen valor para el dinero.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4/5 con una ubicación excelente cerca de la estación de tren. Tuve una estancia muy agradable en el Britannia Hotel Birmingham New Street. La habitación era espaciosa, ordenada y muy limpia, lo que me hizo sentir cómoda y relajada después de un largo día explorando la ciudad. La ubicación céntrica del hotel es perfecta: a pocos pasos de la estación de tren, tiendas y restaurantes, lo que lo hace muy conveniente tanto para viajes de placer como de negocios. El personal fue amable y atento, siempre dispuesto a ayudarme con lo que necesitara. Había un poco de ruido porque mi habitación está al lado de la calle donde hay un mercado navideño, pero la habitación estaba bien mantenida. En general, fue una gran experiencia: excelente relación calidad-precio, habitaciones limpias y una ubicación conveniente. Sin duda me alojaría aquí de nuevo y lo recomiendo ampliamente a cualquiera que visite Birmingham.

Localización perfecta. Las habitaciones estaban muy limpias, sólo la cuestión era cuánto tiempo llevó para inspeccionar, esperamos 20/30mins para inspeccionar, ya que sólo había dos receptores en el momento de un examen ocupado. Una vez que nos inspeccionaron si no podía fallar el lugar.

Una estancia increíble, como siempre. El personal siempre se esmera en ayudarte. Necesitabas una habitación un poco más grande porque mi pareja usa muletas, ¡e incluso nos dieron una habitación que ya teníamos! Mi pareja y yo nos sentimos muy cómodos, seguros y felices. ¡Volveremos! Almohadas y cama cómodas, baño con ducha y bañera precioso, artículos de aseo en la pared con un olor muy agradable. ¡Volveremos el jueves! :)

Tuvimos una estancia encantadora. Excelente ubicación (a 9 minutos de la estación de tren). La habitación estaba limpia y cómoda. Disfrutamos mucho del desayuno, que además tenía un precio estupendo de 8,50 £ por persona. En el salón hay máquinas expendedoras de comida con una gran variedad de opciones. El personal fue muy atento. ¡Sin duda recomendaría este lugar a familiares y amigos!

La señorita de recepción fue muy amable, era el día más caluroso del año y nos quejamos del aire acondicionado, rápidamente nos cambió de habitación, cuando tuvimos más inquietudes y llamamos a recepción, apareció rápidamente y nos brindó una cálida asistencia, seguro valor por mi dinero.

Firstly, the staff we encountered were lovely, very accommodating and helpful. The reception entrance was promising, being bright and modern with a very pleasant receptionist and smooth check in. However, our room lacked appeal, comfort or anything that made one wish to stay in it for longer than a night. To be fair, we were asked twice on check in, if we would like to move to a different floor. I jokingly asked if there was a problem with the room we'd been allocated but was told no. We were allocated Room 7. Whilst it appeared clean to the best the facilities allowed, it was unpleasant. The bottom of the bathroom door appeared water damaged and rotten. The sink was cracked. The radiator was rusted by urine splashes as situated beside the toilet and the shower was situated in a recess with no curtain or screen, so quickly spilled on to the floor making the bath mat soaked. The lock on the bathroom door didn't work. There was no hair dryer. Only one USB point within the very small TV which only charged if it was on. Being on the ground floor, our window opened out on to the narrow walk way and one poor man walked into it on his way to reception. SatNav instructions take you to a dead end further down the road and several attempts at finding our way around the God awful roundabout eventually led us to a very small parking area at the front of the hotel. Breakfast at 9.00 pm was initially disappointing. One plate was available, no bread for the toaster, no milk for the cereals. One sausage, no beans, no bacon. More food did eventually appear, as did plates, and it was very nice. The croissants and pastries were lovely too. The coffee machine was good. As mentioned, the staff were very good and we requested an iron which was bought to us quickly with a board by a lovely young man. The bed was awful. Rock hard and not much comfort from a meagre duvet that was so thin that initially we thought it had been forgotten. Anyway, one night, cheap and basic. Served its purpose but would look elsewhere and pay more. Think we were just unlucky.

Good location close to M42, free parking onsite, easy access to reception check in was straightforward lifts to all floors and the room was perfect clean and warm. self service for buffet breakfast good variety for every taste. would recommend this hotel to friends and family.
