I stay here once a year as it is not far from the NEC in Birmingham. The location of the hotel is perfect as so close to the motorway but feels like you are in countryside as so quiet and relaxing. It could probably do with a little TLC as the some of the furniture in my room was looking a little tired but still very clean. The staff are lovely and helpful with good service. I have been to this hotel many times over the years and only used the swimming pool once which is the only downside to this place. I would not use again as not the relaxing hotel experience I anticipated as was very busy. Priority appears to be given to the paying public over hotel residents and the changing room was disgusting with used towels piled high on the floor. Staff were stood around having a laugh with their mates and had to interrupt to ask where to get towels then had to ask another member of the public how to open the lockers. I would continue to use this hotel but wouldn’t risk the swimming pool again.

Quedé muy satisfecho con mi estancia. La habitación estaba limpia y ordenada. La ubicación es muy buena. El Hospital de la Amistad China-Japón está justo al lado. muy bien. Muy apoyador

Sí, está muy desgastado y anticuado, pero tiene un encanto retro de los años 70 y ofrece una muy buena relación calidad-precio. La recepción fue educada y profesional, pero podría haber sido más solidaria. Tuvimos un problema ya que nuestro sitio de reserva de hotel no había pagado el hotel. La recepcionista nos pide que les llamemos por teléfono para solucionar el problema. En mejores hoteles, la recepción se habría ofrecido a proporcionar este servicio. ¿Falta de formación? La ubicación es excelente al estar en el centro de la ciudad, frente a la estación de autobuses y al museo del transporte. Las vistas de las ruinas antiguas al fondo y las nuevas en primer plano, entre otros edificios antiguos y contemporáneos, son maravillosas desde las habitaciones en la parte trasera del hotel. El balcón que tienen algunas de las habitaciones de la parte trasera sería un lugar muy agradable para relajarse cuando hace buen tiempo. Las camas son muy grandes y bastante cómodas, con cuentas limpias. La alfombra de nuestra habitación era nueva y otras estaban siendo reemplazadas mientras estábamos allí. El estado de la decoración era adecuado y estaba listo para una renovación. Sin embargo, por el precio y la ubicación, era aceptable. El desayuno, que estaba incluido, fue una agradable sorpresa. La sala de desayuno buffet tenía un ambiente acogedor, había una buena selección de cereales, frutas en conserva y yogur. El desayuno inglés completo estaba muy bien preparado y con ingredientes de buena calidad. El té y el café también eran de buena calidad. El servicio fue profesional y eficiente, con el claro objetivo de brindar a sus clientes un comienzo muy agradable del día.

Room was clean and tidy but we was put on 9th floor which was grest as we like higher floors but the vents in the room was rattling all day and night no matter whether air con was on or not, no cold water from taps, just warm lukewarm even on cold setting we left a day early as autistics we couldn't deal with the noise and lack of cold water, staff was very nice though

Una estancia increíble, como siempre. El personal siempre se esmera en ayudarte. Necesitabas una habitación un poco más grande porque mi pareja usa muletas, ¡e incluso nos dieron una habitación que ya teníamos! Mi pareja y yo nos sentimos muy cómodos, seguros y felices. ¡Volveremos! Almohadas y cama cómodas, baño con ducha y bañera precioso, artículos de aseo en la pared con un olor muy agradable. ¡Volveremos el jueves! :)

Excellent service from the staff which are helpful and detailed. Good location to the city centre within 10-15 minutes walking distance. Lucky it is not the hottest day because the air conditioning is a central one which cannot be adjusted in the room. The staff is helpful to bring us a fan for our good sleep.

Este hotel fue hermoso que tuvimos que hacer un check-in tarde después de las 9:00 como oímos tarde pero el servicio de personal fue fantástico muy útil y muy amable sería segura de quedarse escuchando de nuevo el desayuno fue un desayuno buffet ayuda a usted mismo lo único que no hizo have fue huevos fritos pero habían huevos quebrado tu tenías café de té caliente chocolate máquina y también ayudarte a su propio jugo de zumo naranja jugo mucha personal alrededor de la zona limpia era la gente había estado listo para que otras personas sentarse como la zona de desayuno era La habitación es limpia y limpia y la douche y la cama de baño están cómodas y cuentan con una habitación familiar con una cama doble y un sofá .

Firstly, the staff we encountered were lovely, very accommodating and helpful. The reception entrance was promising, being bright and modern with a very pleasant receptionist and smooth check in. However, our room lacked appeal, comfort or anything that made one wish to stay in it for longer than a night. To be fair, we were asked twice on check in, if we would like to move to a different floor. I jokingly asked if there was a problem with the room we'd been allocated but was told no. We were allocated Room 7. Whilst it appeared clean to the best the facilities allowed, it was unpleasant. The bottom of the bathroom door appeared water damaged and rotten. The sink was cracked. The radiator was rusted by urine splashes as situated beside the toilet and the shower was situated in a recess with no curtain or screen, so quickly spilled on to the floor making the bath mat soaked. The lock on the bathroom door didn't work. There was no hair dryer. Only one USB point within the very small TV which only charged if it was on. Being on the ground floor, our window opened out on to the narrow walk way and one poor man walked into it on his way to reception. SatNav instructions take you to a dead end further down the road and several attempts at finding our way around the God awful roundabout eventually led us to a very small parking area at the front of the hotel. Breakfast at 9.00 pm was initially disappointing. One plate was available, no bread for the toaster, no milk for the cereals. One sausage, no beans, no bacon. More food did eventually appear, as did plates, and it was very nice. The croissants and pastries were lovely too. The coffee machine was good. As mentioned, the staff were very good and we requested an iron which was bought to us quickly with a board by a lovely young man. The bed was awful. Rock hard and not much comfort from a meagre duvet that was so thin that initially we thought it had been forgotten. Anyway, one night, cheap and basic. Served its purpose but would look elsewhere and pay more. Think we were just unlucky.

Good location close to M42, free parking onsite, easy access to reception check in was straightforward lifts to all floors and the room was perfect clean and warm. self service for buffet breakfast good variety for every taste. would recommend this hotel to friends and family.

I recently stayed at your hotel and unfortunately left feeling quite disappointed with several aspects of my stay. Upon arrival, I noticed what appeared to be blood stains on the curtains, hair left on the towel/flannel in the bathroom, and marks on the table surfaces. I have attached photographs for reference, as I feel these are basic housekeeping standards that should have been checked prior to a guest arriving. I also experienced multiple issues with food and service during my stay. I ordered a charcuterie board, however the Parma ham and other cured meats appeared dried out, discoloured and no longer fresh. Unfortunately, after eating it, I also felt unwell afterwards, which was particularly concerning. Later, when ordering dinner, I asked for a croque monsieur but the staff member repeatedly did not understand the order, despite me explaining it was a toasted ham and cheese sandwich. I was eventually advised to order a panini instead. Additionally, I ordered truffle fries but was informed they were unavailable. I agreed to normal fries, however what arrived were heavily seasoned thick-cut chips which were completely different from what I expected and unfortunately not enjoyable. Another issue was the iron provided in the room, which had black residue/staining on it and ended up marking my top, which was very frustrating. As I had booked the stay primarily to relax and enjoy a quiet evening in the room with room service, it was disappointing that the overall experience did not feel comfortable or enjoyable. What disappointed me further was that upon check-out, nobody asked how my stay was or whether everything had been satisfactory, despite the multiple issues experienced throughout my visit. I wanted to bring this to your attention as I do not usually complain, however I felt the overall standard of cleanliness, food quality and service fell below expectations. Kind regards, Karolina
