The Grand is in the middle of an extensive refurbishment programme. I booked 4 room for 2 nights on each side of my daughter's graduation - which I explained to the hotel in advance, so we could have rooms close together to help with hairdressing etc. First the good - beautiful building with stunning original features within a contemporary refurbishment. Stunning public areas, easy parking (albeit the car park is v tatty). The BEST service staff - accommodated all our requests, gave my daughters free parking as a gift. Everyone was delightful, helpful and effective. The bar was superb, superb service and drinks. Breakfast was gorgeous - huge variety with quality ingredients, beautifully presented. The rooms were simple yet luxurious. V nicely appointed bathrooms, comfy bed, lovely shower products. The bad - two of us had to change rooms due to ineffective / not working aircon. Unfortunately, my room was worst with heat topping 33 degrees, even hotter when the hairdresser arrived. I GOT NO SLEEP due to the heat. My friend had already had her room changed before she arrived due to a maintenance issue but her new room had no aircon at all - worth knowing that 4 stars does not mean aircon in all rooms (only 50%) have it. After having to back up we were allocated new rooms. My friend's room was an upgraded one. Mine was not, but the aircon worked to a nearly acceptable level. That said, nothing close to the ”fridge” temperature my daughter / boyfriend and her brother, enjoyed. I spoke to the manager after breakfast as I checked out. He too was charming and completely accepted my complaint. In essence, the ”build” is still happening and he is reporting the snagging issues. Given dinestiv builds can be a nightmare, he did my sympathy as he is trying to coordinate this, much larger build, with people getting in the way. I would love to revisit in 6mths or so - as so much of what they are doing is fantastic - its just quite there yet...but it will be fabulous!

From walking into the hotel to checking in I was greeted by pleasant and nice staff, helpful and cheerful. Stayed in the bar for a quick drink before going to the room and the bar and restaurant was clean, warm and inviting. Was nice to see it being used by others staying at the hotel for evening meal.  Lift wasn’t working but the stairs to my floor wasn’t an issue, I travelled light. The room I booked was a double room, which was clean and comfortable for the one night I stayed. Perfect location by the station and close enough to the shops and bars in the city itself.

The hotel was clean as was our room. The only thing was when we arrived and went to our room it was very cold. On phoning reception they told us how to put the heating on, when I asked about why it wasn’t on they said because of safety concerns. As it was we went out leaving the heater on, but if we had been a few hours later then we would have had to go to bed in a very cold room.  So that wasn’t good! We didn’t use any of the facilities, so can’t really comment on this.

Este es un hotel hermoso. El personal es muy bienvenido. Todos están listos para ayudar. El propio hotel se mantiene muy limpio. Definitivamente tuvimos un muy cómodo dormir de buena noche. El desayuno era bueno. Amamos las instalaciones de ocio. El jacuzzi era nuestro favorito, la temperatura del agua wS como tener un hermoso baño muy caliente! Fue sorprendente. Fue la mejor que he visto. También era muy buena tamaño.. La piscina era demasiado fría para entrar. Soy un paciente de cáncer y no puedo ir en agua fría. Eso era mi único punto negativo.bi habría querido ir a nadar. La habitación de vapor y la sauna eran buenos. También me di cuenta de que había un buen gimnasio pero no iba ahí. La habitación está equipada con sofás y mesas de café para relajarse o trabajar. This Days Inn made a great first impression thanks to its welcoming reception area. The staff at the front desk were friendly, polite, and quick to assist with check-in, making the whole process smooth and stress-free.

The location is fantastic! 10 minute walking distance to the theatres and shopping areas. The facade is clean and appealing and on entering the building, the bar/restaurant area really provides a wow factor. I had a double room which were two single beds pushed together, so there was no room to stretch out. The kitchenette doesn't come with washing up liquid or a sponge, so I was a little confused as to how I was supposed to clean up. The toilet was lovely, but having lifted the toilet seat, the toilet bowl was filled with yellow liquid. Easily solved with flushing. The shower was glorious I didn't want to get out. The rooms are not sound proofed so if you are a light sleeper like me, make sure you take your ear plugs. On the whole I paid £80 for the room on Trip, other sites were charging £140 so I do think I got a good deal. I paid for what I got.

Mi pareja y yo nos hospedamos en el hotel Bosworth Hall mientras viajábamos hacia el norte para pasar la noche y descansar del viaje y refrescarnos para continuar nuestro viaje. Lamentablemente, aunque el personal era amable y el sitio era bueno, dormimos muy poco ya que había mucho ruido durante la noche y temprano en la mañana. Esto era aceptable, pero las instalaciones del baño eran inaceptables. Había muy poca presión de agua, por lo que no pudimos ducharnos y, cuando la inspeccionamos, la tubería obviamente estaba defectuosa y tenía fugas antes de nuestra visita, pero la tubería había sido envuelta con cinta aislante eléctrica y la presión se redujo para que no volara la cinta cuando usado. Hotel con una excelente relación calidad-precio en el aeropuerto de East Midlands. Me alojé aquí una noche por su proximidad al aeropuerto. El personal fue muy amable y atento. Las habitaciones son bastante sencillas, pero se trata de un Holiday Inn Express, no de un hotel de lujo. La cama era cómoda y la habitación contaba con secador de pelo, hervidor de agua, plancha y algunas otras comodidades. El wifi era rápido y estable, lo cual es una gran ventaja. La comida del restaurante era bastante buena y, sin duda, estaba bastante concurrido la noche que estuve allí. El desayuno está incluido en todas las habitaciones y había una gran variedad de opciones frías y calientes, además de zumos, cafés, etc. Vale, no es un hotel de lujo, pero quedé satisfecho por el precio. El hotel está a unos 10 minutos a pie de la terminal, o bien, hay una parada de autobús justo enfrente que llega en pocos minutos.

Grande ubicación y jardines de fab,hotel interior es fechado y necesita un cambio de impresiones,nuestra habitación era básica,comfortable,forma negra en el baño mastica y ropa de ropa en la zona de ducha,ladrillos en la zona de techo,puertas de patio al exterior,pero en la apertura de la mañana, se saludó por un camión de tránsito blanco justo fuera de las puertas y los planificadores de bodas para el próximo boda que se iba a marchar y salir, por lo que no podían tener las cortinas abiertas,grandes opciones de desayuno inglés completo, Pero la comida se mantuvo claramente caliente durante un tiempo,no había placas,no había bolsas de té,tenía que preguntar,las mesa no habían sido limpiadas de placas sucias,brillas,mugs,etc. y no había personal para ver, así que tuvo que limpiar nuestra propia mesa,el personal todo parecía miserable y cuando apareceron, ¡No nos hablan uno de ellos!
