I recently stayed at JEN Hotel by Shangri-La in Shenyang, and while the property itself is a bit dated, the service I received was truly outstanding and made my entire trip memorable. I would especially like to thank the front desk team, Bessie (管家), and the airport transfer driver for their exceptional care and support. Upon arrival, I faced some challenges as I didn’t have a local China phone number, and due to severe weather, I was unable to arrange food delivery on my own. The team stepped in immediately to help place orders for me and even ensured the food was delivered right to my room. They also assisted with receiving and managing courier deliveries for my online purchases, which was incredibly helpful. In addition, my luggage was damaged at the airport, and the hotel staff went above and beyond by following up daily and assisting me throughout the process until the issue was resolved. Their dedication and genuine willingness to help made a stressful situation much easier. What truly stood out was the warmth and kindness of everyone I interacted with. The people here are incredibly warm-hearted and attentive, and they made me feel genuinely cared for throughout my stay. Although the hotel itself shows some age, the level of service is among the best I have experienced. I would definitely return when I travel to Shenyang, China again. Thank you to the entire team for such a wonderful experience.

Desde nuestra habitación teníamos las mejores vistas del río Yalu, el Puente Roto y el Puente de la Amistad, y podíamos ver Corea del Norte con binoculares. Wow! Very impressive! Our family stayed here with our friends from back home for one night. Thoroughly enjoyed it! Everything was top notch. From the decor down to the last details of cleanliness live up to the 5 star standards! The service was friendly and efficient. Most staff can speak some English to help us. Nice big windows with a great city view. The breakfast was probably one of the best in all the 5 star hotels I have tried in Asia! They had an awesome real expresso coffee machine and REAL Canadian bacon plus a very good variety of pastries and hot food! More than enough to get you through the morning and afternoon! Went to the pool on 5th floor and it had a panoramic view of the city and water was very clean. So yes! Well worth the money! Only regret was that we wish we had booked one more night of stay! Keep it up! We will be back!
