It was a nice and hassle free stay. The place was very clean and nicely maintained. I would recommend this place to my friends and families.

Agradecimientos: 1) El servicio de atención al cliente por WhatsApp responde muy rápido y amablemente :). 2) Hay muchos restaurantes cerca. Busca ”restaurante Claypot” y comimos allí cuatro días seguidos, incluso después de mudarnos de hotel. 3) La piscina estaba limpia y bonita. 4) La decoración antigua del hotel es increíble. 5) El hotel tenía dos plazas de aparcamiento privadas; también hay plazas de aparcamiento fuera, pero no estoy seguro de si es legal. Tuvimos suerte de tener al menos una plaza en el hotel durante nuestra estancia. A mejorar: 1) El hotel no tiene recepción. Asegúrate de que los clientes reciban los datos de su check-in antes de llegar o al menos justo antes de las 15:00. 2) El wifi podría ser más rápido. Falló varias veces durante mi estancia de tres días y dos noches. Mi señora y yo ni siquiera pudimos cargar Google Maps. Fue bastante frustrante. Tuve que usar mis datos. 3) ¿Tal vez la insonorización? Teníamos una habitación que daba a la calle principal y en nuestra habitación había una puerta que antes se abría y daba al balcón, pero está bloqueada por un armario grande. Esto permitía que el sonido se filtrara por las rendijas de la puerta. 4) El inodoro podría estar más limpio; revisen los sifones del suelo y asegúrense de que estén limpios; el limpiador dejó una bola de pelo atrapada en ellos. 5) El suelo del inodoro podría tener tiras antideslizantes. Estaba muy resbaladizo. Tuve que prohibirle a mi hijo pequeño que usara el baño. 6) Había demasiados mosquitos en el hotel. Por suerte, no había en nuestra habitación.

We were a bit nervous after reading the reviews online but we had a really excellent stay. The rooms were super clean and modern with a beautiful sea view and the bed was really comfortable. The rooms had a kettle with teas, a hairdryer and iron and the shower was lovely and hot. Great AC too. The pool was lovely with a beautiful view of the sea and very nice and peaceful. The location was also great with a huge food market right opposite. Overall a really lovely stay

View from the apartment was amazing and just need to look through the window and you see the blue sky and ocean. Just that the apartment they gave us has 3 rooms and if you book 2 rooms they will locked up the one of the room. The issue is that when we checked in they just let the 3rd room open and we thought we could used it until the security guard came and knock the door and said he has to lock up one of the rooms.

Good location. Nice beach view. Clean and comfortable. Services can improve. Do not make room unless by request of guest only to ensure privacy and two way agreed communication thank you.

Nice view and great swimming pool. However be aware that the pool is 1.2m deep. Facilities wise nothing wow, just enough. Hard to drive across the road, as traffic is busy in front of the hotel. The way up to the parking also winding and narrow. Lift need to wait long time during peak hour. There is no aircon outside of the room, but during our visit in December, it’s windy, so the heat is bearable. Breakfast ok, kids love it, for adult is ok but not many good options. Need to queue for some time for seatings, advisable to be early to get good seats.

La recepcionista no fue muy servicial y no me explicó mucho. Tuve algunos problemas con el desayuno; de repente, mi habitación no tenía desayuno incluido, aunque lo habíamos pagado juntos al hacer la reserva. Intenté explicárselo al gerente de comida y bebida india, pero al principio se negó a confiar en mí y me pidió que fuera al vestíbulo. Gracias al Sr. Vincent, se disculpó sinceramente por el malentendido del sistema. Al gerente de comida y bebida india: debe aprender a disculparse sinceramente con el Sr. Vincent y a ser educado, ya que también lo escuché hablar mal de otros clientes. Comida: No había mucha variedad, pero la comida estaba buena. En general, volveré en el futuro y espero que el servicio sea mucho mejor. Gracias.

I think this hotel was renovated and re-opened in 2025, though some fixtures like the room doors are still old. The room size is spacious and the view is nice facing the sea. The swimming pool is big enough and there is a beach right beside the hotel. Location-wise, it’s 25-min away from Georgetown by car.

Very nice view from the room window and the hotel lounge. Room is spacious and clean. Parking space is from level 2 to 9. Easy access to food court just walking distance opposite from hotel lobby. If easy access to ferringi area.

Surprised by how clean it was despite being an old hotel in the area. I am overall satisfied with the hotel and my room, especially the cleanliness of the toilet and tub area. If I have to be really fussy and pin point a thing I did not like, it would be that the blanket is slightly thinner than I would normally prefer a hotel blanket to me. However, this is just my very fussy side speaking. Overall, I would give this hotel a 4.9 out of 5. I had booked a room with breakfast during my two days there for a workshop. Both days are somewhat the same, food was decent. The workshop provided lunch which led me to again dining in the lunch buffet section, overall it was pleasant. I like it that the hotel provided a variety of Penang food over the two days. My fav was the rojak which I took a photo here haha! Hub enjoyed the pool and hot & cold pool (sadly the sauna was under maintenance). Before I checked out, I also happened to be part of the Penang heritage launch ceremony. So, I got to see some of the really beautiful art work and nyonya clothing items on sale at the pop up stalls at the lobby too. The hotel also was serving nutmeg juice and Penang famous snack 豆沙饼. I must mention too, that I got a sea view room which allowed me to see the extension project by MBPP. There was a very happening and lovely park opposite the hotel just minutes walk away. I couldn’t help to bring myself over and was really happy to experience the joy of the families enjoying the facilities there. Huge slide, lots of climbing equipment and a very decent skatepark! Running track was very nice too! You must check it out if you’re in Penang! It was overall a pleasant stay in all.
