The hotel room was clean, spacious, and clearly recently renovated. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We were able to store our luggage safely in a locked baggage room. The hotel grounds are beautiful, with clean and very attractive pool areas surrounded by lush plants. In the early evening, you can even see fruit bats flying over the property, which adds a special touch to the atmosphere. The hotel is a bit further away from the city centre, but only 15min from the airport.

I recently stayed at Hides Hotel during a trip to Cairns and was pleasantly surprised by the value and charm this heritage-style hotel offers. The location is absolutely unbeatable—right in the heart of the city and within walking distance of the Esplanade, night markets, Reef Fleet Terminal, and plenty of restaurants and cafes. Whether you’re heading out for a reef tour or just exploring the local area, Hides is a super convenient base. The room was basic but clean and comfortable. It had everything I needed, including air-conditioning (a must in Cairns!), a small fridge, and free Wi-Fi. The building itself has an old-school character that’s a bit different from your typical chain hotels, which I actually really liked—it feels like you’re staying somewhere with history. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay, happy to give recommendations and assist with bookings. There’s also a lovely wide veranda on the upper level, which is a great spot to relax in the evening and take in the atmosphere of the city. Only downside was that the hotel is a bit dated in places, and depending on the room you’re in, you might hear a bit of street noise—but that’s to be expected in a central location like this. Overall, Hides Hotel is a great choice for budget-conscious travelers who want clean, central, no-fuss accommodation with character. I’d definitely consider staying again.

El hotel está a 10 minutos a pie del centro y a 8 minutos de la estación de autobuses. No limpian la habitación si la reserva es de menos de 6 noches. La habitación tenía un tamaño razonable y contaba con comodidades básicas. El aire acondicionado era de ventana. Se puede guardar el equipaje después de la salida.

No se presta atención al momento de reservar la habitación. Es bueno llegar al hotel es tiempo de trabajo. La recepción dice que los dos grandes y los pequeños no pueden vivir en el cuarto estándar. Necesitan más dinero para vivir en una habitación y en una habitación. El precio es justo 2 noches 100. Una habitación y una habitación son realmente muy buenos. Hay lavanderías super grandes con lavadora y secador, cocina sencilla, y compré un desayuno muy rico en el supermercado. El hotel es en realidad una comunidad independiente, con un salón, una habitación y un apartamento, estacionamiento gratuito, un entorno muy bueno, muy tranquilo y buenas vacaciones.

La ubicación es excelente, justo enfrente del paseo marítimo. Nadar en la piscina todos los días mientras contemplas el océano es muy relajante. El desayuno es abundante y variado, con una marcada tendencia hacia los estilos japonés y occidental. La habitación es lo suficientemente amplia como para acomodar fácilmente tres maletas.

El hotel tiene dos entradas. No usé mucho las instalaciones porque llovía, así que pedí prestado un paraguas y guardé mi equipaje.

A good location for a few night. Pricing is ok and value for money. It' aged and has seen many years, especially bathroom facilities which are not ensuite. At least it is kept clean. Staff at reception is very friendly, but mainly students with no deep and profound knowledge about facility

I really like this hotel — the location is excellent, and the sea view from the balcony is absolutely stunning. However, the only downside is that the bathroom faucet and toilet brush are very rusty. It would be great if they could be replaced with new ones, as the rust really affects the overall experience.

Recently renovated rooms with modern facilities. The bistro has one of the finest menus you'll ever see in pubs. The best place to wind down whether you're on holidays or just stopping overnight. The onsite BWS is also quite handy.

Tuve una estancia excepcional de 7 noches en Crystalbrook Flynn. La hospitalidad y el servicio fueron excepcionales, con un personal siempre atento y amable. Mi habitación se limpiaba impecablemente a diario y el agua embotellada se reponía constantemente, lo que garantizaba una estancia cómoda y refrescante. La ubicación del hotel es un punto a destacar: estratégicamente ubicado cerca de restaurantes y lugares de interés populares, lo que lo hace increíblemente práctico y accesible. Ya sea para explorar las atracciones cercanas o para salir a cenar, todo estaba a un paso. Disfruté muchísimo de mi estancia en Crystalbrook Flynn y lo recomiendo encarecidamente por su excelente servicio y ubicación privilegiada.
