Hotel staff service was top tier. Check-in counter staff allowed me to use their telephone for local call when I needed it urgently and even asked if I would be okay with Japanese and offered to help me call. Felt really relieved that help was provided without me asking and it was really touching. Check in counter staff were also sincere with their service and had wide smiles on their faces. The room was quite old but clean, quite contrasting to the modern lobby they had. Breakfast was amazing, so much choices (from smoothies to a katsu station) and delicious. Would recommend if you have the time in the morning.

El hotel está muy bien situado y está muy cerca de la salida de la casa. El hotel está cerca de 7 personas, pero hay que tener en cuenta que la tienda de conveniencia se cerrará a 2300.

The room was large and we could see the suwa lake. The beddings were prepared by staffs and breakfast was also good. We could also enjoy the onsen downstairs. Also they let us check out an hour later. Perfect experience

The location is near but consider as far walking from station. It’s very far from the walking streets/ town and castle (approx 1km or slightly more). The bus/ transport couldn’t stop exact to those area hence walking is required. If you wanted to stay close to the station, there’s more better choices which more straight forward locate from the stations. Hotel buena vista just not as straight forward. The staff is just junior inexperience. I have phone data issue and ask for wifi assistance. The wifi in the lobby is so weak that I couldn’t connect. I ended up going back to JR station to get the public wifi to fix my data. Staff just look at me without offering any solutions. But one staff is kind and he stood at the lobby. He handed me the Matsumoto map for my exploring before the 3pm check in. Hey, I expected this is done by the one at the counter not this gentleman who stand at the hotel lobby! When it mentioned hotel buena vista has good cafe etc etc .. it’s actually dated and nothing to shout about. However the perks is to book a slot and visit the sister hotel closer to the mountain with the provided shuttle bus for their onsen facilities. That was top notch !!! Please book it earlier before it’s gone. However the slot available is dinner time. So please consider it.

Había un salón de bebidas y vinos, que todos los huéspedes podían disfrutar, lo que aprecié más es el establecimiento de biblioteca con libros para leer. El servicio era fenomenal, la recepción y todos los empleados fueron útiles.

El hotel está a unos 10 minutos a pie de la estación de Nagano, lo cual es bastante conveniente. Las habitaciones del hotel son limpias e higiénicas y el espacio es relativamente grande. Hay un autobús al templo Zenkoji en la puerta. conveniente Lo mejor es que el restaurante de la azotea tiene vista a los Alpes del Norte. El paisaje es hermoso y disfrutar de la vista pintoresca mientras desayuna es una ventaja definitiva.

家族旅行で2泊しました。7万坪という広大な敷地にホテル3つのとチャペル、披露宴会場を合わせ持った贅沢なつくりでリラックスしたひとときを堪能しました。朝食のブッフェも夕食フレンチも美味しく、サービスも良かったです。温泉の大浴場もあり緑も多く散歩も心地よいひとときでした。1泊ではなく、2泊、3泊するのもオススメです。

La habitación era inmaculada, con vistas a la nieve. Delicioso desayuno y ubicación convencional. Altamente recomendable para los viajeros de negocios y de ocio. ¡Seguramente volverá!

Great place to stay! Perfect location and convenient to have food and very near to the station. The bunk bed is also comfortable and perfect for solo travelers. Friendly for ladies too with ladies-only shower room in dormitory.
