The location of the property is excellent, and the building is well maintained. The unit is equipped with most essential amenities, including a refrigerator, washing machine, water heater, iron, and basic kitchen utensils. However, several advertised facilities were not functional during our stay, including the kitchen stove, chimney hood, living room ceiling fan, and TV. The check-in process could be clearer. I had to contact the property a day in advance to obtain the check-in instructions and pay a RM200 security deposit. The deposit was refunded a few hours after checkout without any issues. The biggest downside of this property is the ongoing construction directly in front of the building. There was constant noise from drilling and blasting, and the area was very dusty. Construction work even continued into the night, making it difficult to relax and causing me a headache. If you’re looking for a peaceful stay, it’s worth checking whether the construction has been completed before booking.

There are plenty of restaurants, cafés, convenience stores, and shopping options within walking distance, making it very convenient for families and larger groups. The host was responsive and replied promptly when we raised issues during our stay. Unfortunately, the cleanliness and maintenance of the property fell well below our expectations. We encountered ants throughout the apartment—including the living room, sofa, dining area, kitchen, bedrooms, and bathrooms—which made it difficult to enjoy our stay. Although the host provided insect spray after we reported the issue, the infestation was so widespread that spraying the entire apartment was neither practical nor a comfortable solution. Several areas were dusty, the curtains had a noticeable layer of dust, and the bedsheets and toilet rolls appeared old. We were also charged RM60 for an extra bedsheet for two nights, but the condition of the bedding did not justify the additional fee. The sofa showed signs of wear, and one of the ceiling fans was noisy during operation. For larger groups, please note that when someone showers upstairs, the downstairs bathroom cannot be used properly due to water pressure issues. We were informed that this affects every unit in the building, suggesting it is a known issue rather than an isolated incident. The facilities were also disappointing. The jacuzzi was unavailable during our stay and appeared to be non-functional, making it more decorative than usable. The host initially agreed to compensate us for the cleaning fee due to the cleanliness issues, but we did not receive any further update after that. Overall, the apartment has great potential because of its strategic location, but significant improvements in cleanliness, pest control, maintenance, and facility upkeep are needed before I could recommend it to others. El encargado dijo que enviaría el secador de pelo inmediatamente, pero después de esperar 10 minutos, nadie vino. Bajamos a recepción de nuevo, y el personal nos dijo: ”Estamos un poco ocupados, pueden volver a subir ahora, mi personal está esperando fuera de su puerta”. Honestamente, parecía que solo querían que nos fuéramos rápido y nos dieron una excusa aleatoria para despacharnos, porque cuando regresamos a la habitación, no había nadie. Al final, solo recibimos el secador de pelo a las 11 AM. Tardar una hora completa solo para que nos entregaran un secador de pelo en la habitación fue, honestamente, bastante ridículo.

El bidé o rociador está roto y el agua se esparce por todas partes, ¡mojando nuestra ropa y papel higiénico! (Adjunto foto del bidé roto). No instalaron ventilador en el baño y, al abrir la ventana para ventilar, los vecinos pueden verte. Sus intenciones son muy claras: no les importa la comodidad de los huéspedes (adjunto foto de cuando se abre la ventana del baño para ventilar; se puede ver desde arriba, por lo que no hay privacidad al ducharse. ¡Te duchas con la ventana cerrada y después de un rato te sientes asfixiado!). Como Ipoh es famosa por sus restaurantes, para nuestra sorpresa, al llevarnos la cena a casa, los utensilios fueron realmente decepcionantes. El anfitrión apenas proporciona platos y cubiertos. Quizás solo 4 tazas y 4 platos, como si cualquier cosa extra les supusiera una inversión millonaria. No hay bolsas de plástico ni papel higiénico adicionales. Son demasiado tacaños y no proporcionan nada extra, incluso si lo pides. Al menos, si nos proporcionan bolsas de plástico adicionales para la basura, podríamos empacar nuestros residuos y mantener la limpieza e higiene. Cada habitación solo tiene dos toallas para la ducha y ninguna para la piscina. ¡Qué falta de consideración! Lo peor es que te envían las instrucciones de salida a las 6 de la mañana para despertarte. Si tienen una reserva en temporada alta el día de nuestra salida, podrían enviarnos un recordatorio, pero ¡por favor, no a las 6 de la mañana! Creo que Trip.com debería evaluar la calidad de sus agentes y establecer estándares mínimos. Overall, I had a pleasant stay. The room floor was a little dusty, but the rest of the room and common areas were clean. The gym facilities are good and well-equipped. There is also a swimming pool, although the design seems more suitable for relaxing, playing in the water, or taking photos rather than actual swimming. Free parking is available, which is a nice bonus. The kitchen utensils were new and clean, and the room was also equipped with a fridge and microwave, making it convenient for longer stays. The best part is definitely the mini mart on the ground floor. It offers a good variety of groceries, food and beverages, and the prices are quite reasonable. Very convenient if you need to grab something without leaving the property.

Tuve una estancia muy agradable en el Hotel Kinta durante mi reciente viaje. El hotel es limpio, cómodo y está ubicado en una zona muy conveniente, con fácil acceso a tiendas y restaurantes cercanos. El registro fue rápido y el personal fue amable y atento durante toda la estancia. Sin duda, lo mejor del viaje fue la experiencia de romper el ayuno (buka puasa). El ambiente recordaba a la época clásica de P. Ramlee y Saloma: muy animado y nostálgico. Had a wonderful stay! The location was perfect for sightseeing, and the hotel staff made us feel at home. Rooms were clean, spacious, and had all the amenities we needed. I highly recommend it

From collecting keys till checkout, everything went smoothly. The room is clean and nice. And the price is worth it with the pool view. Very efficient and responsive. Definitely will choose this place again. The security guard also do well their job to look after the kids at the splash pool to make sure kid play safely. 👍 👍

The location was great 👍 . Suitable for stress free environment - the beauty of greenery and mountain view so fascinating !🥰 Things got annoyed with my unit (E2) were: I) Key collection locker - couldn't see the numbers clearly (due to same silver colours). 2) The bathroom door (inside Master Bedroom) so noisy eg. krak krak really annoying !😐. 3) The mattress inside Bedroom 2 is uneven. (Those with slip disc problems having difficulty to sleep on it.) 🙁 Need improvements ASAP !
