Cave of the Winds Mountain Park is an exciting blend of natural wonder and adventure. Located near Manitou Springs, it offers guided cave tours that showcase fascinating underground formations while sharing the history and geology of the area. Beyond the caves, the park is known for its adrenaline-pumping attractions like the Terror-Dactyl ride, zip lines, and Via Ferrata climbing routes, all set against stunning mountain scenery. It’s a great spot for families, couples, or thrill-seekers looking for both education and excitement. With options ranging from easy cave walks to extreme adventures, the park provides a memorable Colorado experience for all ages.

This was a neat exhibit but short and sweet for the price. Staff was pleasant and welcoming, and it is dog friendly, a plus. I guess we were just spoiled when we visited cliff dwellings in New Mexico, because these were not as impressive. Good if you are short on time.

The Broadmoor Seven Falls is one of Colorado Springs’ most breathtaking natural attractions. Known as the “Grandest Mile of Scenery in Colorado,” it features a series of seven cascading waterfalls tucked within a scenic 1,250-foot granite canyon.
