When we arrived the reception was empty. There was not even a welcome drink in the room. The cleanliness of the hotel in general and the room in particular left a lot to be desired. Nothing you would expect from a 5 star hotel.The room was horribly decorated. The rug under the bed was completely crooked, and a wooden lamp that almost pierced my eyes twice. Over the bed there was a button that said do not disturb with a night light so bright it was impossible to sleep well. The bedroom furniture was old and chipped.The bathtub had one of the faucets broken.The hotstone massage was one of the worst ever. Impossible to relax when the masseuse tries to make conversation and makes so much noise with the stones that it is impossible to relax even 1 min. The pool was okay. The rest of the SPA we did not try.We booked dinner at reception but when we arrived at the restaurant there was no reservation. The rest was across the street from the hotel, very uncomfortable having to go out to dinner in another building, especially on a cold and rainy day. But the worst was yet to come. We asked if it would be possible to make a bowl of rice or pasta for our 3 year old daughter but they refused. What restaurant, much more than 5 stars, refuses to make a simple rice for a child? Neither the poorest restaurant nor a 3 star hotel. Then we ordered fondue for two. When the waitress brought us the food came a plate with 5 small pieces of grilled meat and a tiny bowl of fries. When we said that it was not what we had ordered, but the fondue, they told us that the restaurant no longer made fondue. But then why was it on the menu? Why didn't the employee who served us the first time inform us that there was no fondue? As the dish that came was very little food for 2 adults and 1 child, we ordered another steak. Waiting another 30 min. When the waitress came with the plate, she dumped the fries all over the floor. We had to wait a little longer for the fries.The steak was good but for 30€ you expected a little more than 5 tiny strips of meat and a small bowl of pre-fried supermarket potatoes. Needless to say, our 3 year old daughter ate very poorly.Definitely untrained and very unfriendly staff.Breakfast was mediocre for a 5 star hotel. Breakfast at the level of a 2 star pension. 5 star hotel has absolutely nothing. At most 3 stars and already very forced. In the end they wanted to charge us 15€ for the car park when the reservation we made on booking.com said that the car park was free. As we complained about the bad service they did, they decided to withdraw the 15€ from the final bill and the two tonic waters we drank for dinner. Hotel not recommendable at all.

A large hotel, conveniently situated close to the station, and also the centre of Leiden. Very friendly and helpful staff. The room was clean and pleasant, and the bed comfortable. At a very reasonable price too! I would certainly stay here again if I return to lovely Leiden. Definitely Recommended.

El hotel está situado a 30 minutos a pie del centro de la ciudad. El staff es muy atento y dispone de parking gratuito. ¿Por que digo que es multihotel? Básicamente porque en la habitación hay cosas que no pegan ni con pegamento, la zona de la cama, muy mona y bien decorada, pero luego tienes una pared con un grafitti que da la impresión que estés en un hostel de mochileros. Junto al televisor un ventilador de esos típicos de pie, que aún da más ambiente de hostel. Aún así, repetiría. La habitación dispone de una pequeña zona de cocina con nevera y microondas que es de agradecer.

Habitaciones sin espacios con baños muy bonitos. Sólo un problema negativo fue el servicio en la recepción. Apenas sonríe, no tienes la sensación de que estás bienvenido. Recibí una factura incorrecta con el nombre de otro cliente cuando alquilé una bicicleta. Sin embargo, el alquiler de bicicletas es de lo contrario muy fácil y las bicicletas son de buena calidad. Si el tiempo me permite recomendar ciclismo a su destino. Excelente desayuno con una variedad de opciones de gluten libre y vegan. También puede tener una omeleta de uso personalizado.

Antes leímos todas las malas críticas sobre este hotel pero no nos hemos reservado nada de atraído & una habitación. Como el edificio es probablemente un antiguo edificio de oficinas, se puede ver con qué medios se ha intentado dar un aspecto muy agradable. Y eso lo ha logrado! La habitación era muy espaciosa, muy limpia y tenía un aspecto moderno. El único punto de descuento fue que no había TV (para la música) y ninguna silla. Pero usted podía sentarse bien en el pantalla de ventana. Un desayuno de lujo se vendía en el restaurante abajo por €12. ¡Con una experiencia muy positiva!

5 star rating in my opinion definitely a place to stay in delft. The city is beautiful to visit. And food is excellent. I will be returning to stay when I visit my family. The hotel feels luxurious and the best I had on this trip. My only fault was not to stay longer in vander valk hotel delft A4

Great hotel, with quiet lobby. Handy automatic supermarket machine witch gets you food and drinks anytime you like. Staff is semi Dutch speaking but deliver a great clean and tidy hotel. Traveled for business, good location. Sea is just around the corner. Photos look the same as reality, so I won’t include photos in my review.

Estaba en este hotel con un amigo durante casi una semana en agosto. Lo que realmente nos gustaba fue el personal muy amigable y útil y la gran ubicación (5 minutos a pie de la playa de Scheveningen, la promenade con muchos restaurantes y el Pier con sus atracciones como Zip-Linking, saltar bungee, la comida o las saunas, 5 minutos a tranvías al centro de la ciudad), aunque las habitaciones son bastante pequeñas. Lo que no nos gustaba es que se cargan extra por muchas cosas (los bloqueadores para almacenar el equipaje el último día por 6€ / bloqueador! - un descanso; limpieza extra de la habitación - 15€, de lo contrario se limpia después de 4 días sólo). El hotel dispone de una habitación de desayuno, pero el desayuno no es en el hotel, sino en el centro comercial (a la distancia de caminar, pero aún así), aunque hay una habitación de desayuno en el hotel.

After stay at the Copenhagen CityHub I thought why not give this Rotterdam one a go as my experience before was great. Well firstly my god it was noisy, I had requested a quiet pod in the hotel as I'm a very light sleeper (even with earplugs in and pillow overhead lol) . So I was placed near the toilets/showers.... Ding ding ding alarms should have been going off then as the amount of banging those toilets/showers doors and the thumping of the people who sounded like they was thumping past all the pods (request a top pod in future). With ear plugs I was woken up early by other pod users who didn't have a care about anybody else who would have even been asleep as long as the could have a chat in the hall ways as loud as possible. So if you are going out and getting drunk this hotel is perfect for you but if you are on a sightseeing trip and wanting a early night we'll best of luck with that. None of my USB chargers were working in my pod but luckily I had brought a plug with more than 1 socket on it for charging. You get what you pay here and for a single person it's the cheapest option in the city. Lockers are huge and fitted my large suitcase in very easily. Staff very helpful as usual especially the American guy. Would I stay again, I'm afraid I wouldn't at this one as far too noisy for me. Maybe big groups shouldn't be all put on same floor and then they can meet in area downstairs and chat as loud as possible as they want at any time that suits them.
