The positives first? The duplex rooms had very comfortable beds and solid temperature controls. The negatives? There is no view of Macau from the "Sea View" rooms. Prices increase quite a bit during Chinese New Year, though other chains in the area are even more extreme about it. The fire safety products featured four pictures of the same woman on the package and had been subject to a recall notice by the Chinese government because they weren't certified appropriately.

We have a lovely and comfortable stay in this place, everything is fine and well equipped with our needs except a two bedroom apartment should at least have 4 tea cups than 2. The balcony is hugh and all rooms can access, I wish I have more time to stay. Check in staff is a nice guy with heartfelt smile, you feel being welcomed. One thing about the room was the smell of the air conditioning, they needed to be cleaned.

It is a super bad and sad experience to live in this hotel, the lobby is extremely hot with no AC and even no ventilation, and then after we get into room, the door lock is found defective, called concierge, their want us to wait and don't know when can be fixed. And then tell us to call housekeeping, but this keeper said we have e to call back concierge by ourselves, seems this hotel staff don't wanna communicate internally. After an hour arguing, they change another room for us, but the fridge of new room also defective, there are stain, water and not cold after power on 4 hours. We are exhaust and nobody can help us. And then the wifi issue, we cannot use it and nobody tell us what's the password, of course I tried to input mu last name 100 times.... I booked 2 rooms to live in this hotel but all we got is exhaust and bad experiences, if you dun believe it, then go this hotel and try, I will not go this hotel never and ever.

Overall speaking, the room was fantastic! The staff were attentive and polite. Our plan included a "520 Confession Set Dinner" which had a steak (though cooked well-done), fried chicken rolls with bacon, a bowl of Caesar salad, a truffle sauce pasta with clamps. The food were good, at least we don't have anything to complain with this price. Also, the air-conditioning was great, which was outstanding compared to some 5-star hotels. Definitely recommend couples to have an overnight stay here.

Huafa Place was a pleasant surprise. I was a little skeptical at first because of its low price, but since I was only staying for 1 night, I opted for the room with the lowest rate, a room with 2 twin beds with city view. I was greeted by Joey who was very helpful and nice, and upgraded me with a room ion the high floor with view. When I stepped into the room, I found that the room offered more than a beautiful water view of Macau, but it also had a living room and a big balcony. The 2 twin beds were comfortable, supportive but not hard (which is the norm for most Asian hotels). There was also a plate of fresh fruit on the coffee table, another surprise. When I checked out, Ann was there and she was just as pleasant. I will not hesitate to come back to Huafa Place when I come to ZhuHai again.

There is a mouldy smell in the room which is not very pleasant, and the shower is not strong enough. Otherwise everything is fine. Breakfast is good.

The sofa, floor and walls were dirty. Dust was everywhere. The furniture was old. The air con was noisy.
