MalisGarten Green Spa Hotel

The hotel is modern while retaining a traditional feel. The rooms are comfortable. The spa is quite large with plenty of relaxation areas and a nice indoor/outdoor pool. The garden area is pleasant and a good place to take a meal or snack. The staff is warm and helpful. The breakfasts are very good; for dinner the food is better at the sister hotel Das Posthotel 100m down the street.

We had a wonderful stay at MalisGarten and left with many great memories. From the moment we arrived, we felt very welcome. The whole team was friendly, helpful, and genuinely interested in making sure we had a great experience. The service throughout our stay was excellent and made us feel very comfortable. The food was one of the highlights of our visit. Every meal was beautifully prepared, with great attention to detail and amazing flavors. We really enjoyed discovering the different dishes and the quality of the ingredients. The location of the hotel is something special. Being surrounded by mountains creates such a peaceful atmosphere, and the views are simply beautiful. One of our favorite experiences was the guided hike with a local guide. It was not only a great way to explore the area, but also a chance to learn more about the history and nature of this wonderful place. We also spent time in the spa area, which was a perfect place to relax after hiking. We appreciated that it never felt too busy, allowing us to really enjoy the calm atmosphere. The spirits tasting was another memorable experience. It was not just about trying different drinks, but also about learning the stories behind them and enjoying the passion of the people who shared their knowledge with us. The cocktail at the end was a lovely finishing touch. Our room was very comfortable and cozy, and every detail of the hotel contributed to making our stay special. Thank you to the entire MalisGarten team for creating such a beautiful experience. We had a fantastic holiday and would love to come back again.

Wow, what can I say, this truly is an amazing hotel. We stayed for 4 nights in May, in two Bellis rooms, as we also had our older teenage sons with us (this is a 14+ adult hotel). The staff were all so lovely and attentive, nothing was ever too much trouble. The rooms were beautiful, nice size and had everything we needed, and more. The views from our rooms were just stunning. Fantastic breakfast offering, with plenty of options. Lovely pool, great spa facilities and the bikes available to borrow were also a great addition, it's in a great spot for cycling. We also loved hearing the neighbouring church bells. We'll definitely be back :)

Beautiful hotel, relaxing and reviving. Interiors were so lovely and the setting and views amazing. Very helpful staff, all top quality.

Fabulous stay. Room had a stunning view of the mountains, staff couldn’t do enough for us, excellent food and the spa / pool was heavenly. Truly luxurious. May is between seasons so the plus is that it was quiet. The down side was that lots of restaurants weren’t open.

Beautiful hotel, although, upon arrival, my stomach sank as the approach was a bit disappointing.....and Entrance Lobby a little underwhelming. Once inside, the welcome and feel of the place soon made up for that..... I stayed with my elderly Mother, for 7 nights in one of their suites, The Lavender Room. The hotel was extremely quiet, so when presented with the room, and limited views (a side angle view of the famous church), I asked if there may have been another room, same category that had a full view of their well advertised views.....and sure enough, we were swiftly moved, albeit the following day (It's worth asking but couldn't understand as they were so quiet, and we were staying a while, why was this not a consideration prior to our arrival. Some guests would most likely feel reluctant to ask....:( Beautiful room. I think our biggest disappointment was the food. Although one couldn't fault the quality, the aesthetics, the professionalism behind each dish, the menu (we decided on half board) was far too repetitive. Two choices - Classic or Vegetarian .So, if you weren't keen on meat, it's vegetarian. No fish option or otherwise. A Garden salad that was the same every night, lovely but the same, and soups that were delicious, but either super creamy or consomme. Not a fan of consomme so it was cream soups for 7 days!!!!! Very rich.......Deserts again, similar presentation, some mousse, some crumble and some ice cream, of varying flavours. Most alarmingly, nothing at all pertaining to Austrian/local cuisine!!! I appreciate the fact that all ingredients are sourced locally, but cuisine wise, not one insight into Austrian/Tyrolean flavours....and we travel regularly to Austria and Germany for their food!!!! Not even a whiff of a Goulascht soup or an Apfel Strudel, had to head to the local cafe for that!!!! :( I guess if we hadn't stayed for 7 nights, it would have been different, but it was just the lack of variety at dinner that let our experience down somewhat......one looks forward to surprises, particularly on the culinary front, but sadly, this was not the case..... Having said this, all in all, a lovely stay. SPA was just perfect. And the room/beds were top notch. Thankyou!

We stayed for 4 nights at the hotel and really loved it. On arrival we were a bit sceptical because it’s located right by a street, but when entering the hotel the whole atmosphere brings one into a different world and one forgets about the surroundings completely. The whole building is made out of wood, which creates a very nice and calming room climate. We particularly liked the interior design and overall style of the building, very calming and great as a get away. We booked breakfast and dinner and really liked the food. Also spa area was very appealing with recommendable facial treatments. Surely a place we would come back to :)

Although we haven’t stayed here ourselves we have received wonderful service from them. Our very good friends had booked this hotel for their wedding anniversary and we wanted to surprise them by having a bottle of sparkling wine waiting for them in their room on arrival. We emailed the hotel hoping this could be arranged. Within an hour we received a telephone call from Calvin Schumbera at the hotel and he very enthusiastically explained that of course he could assist us and what our options were. We went with Calvins recommendation and paid over the phone. A receipt was immediately emailed to us. When our friends arrived they were absolutely thrilled with the surprise and sent us pictures immediately. We are looking forward to hearing all the details when they return home. Thank you so much Calvin for your recommendation, assistance and making our friends stay really memorable.

Beautiful and luxurious hotel in the heart of the Austrian Alps. Food and amenities were top notch. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
