Muy cerca del aeropuerto, pero este es el más pequeño elogio que podía dar. Muchas gracias al director Marili, usted fue increíblemente agradable para nosotros, por supuesto que hizo nuestra estadía aún más especial! Muchas gracias al resto del personal, el equipo de limpieza, el equipo de desayuno, el turno de noche, todos ustedes fueron increíbles!!! Por supuesto, tengo que mencionar que las habitaciones y el hotel son muy hermosas, mucho de calidad y atención al detalle en todas partes, desde los dormitorios hasta la zona de piscina, pasando por las calles, por todas partes literalmente. Absolutely loved our recent stay at Ionian Hill Hotel. From check in to check out our stay was easy, peaceful and clean. Parking is located at the top (quite a steep drive up and sharp corner). The lobby, grounds and rooms are spotless. The lady at breakfast and lunch was absolutely lovely. She seemed to really enjoy interacting with everyone and went above and beyond to ensure everyone was looked after. The only problem we found were the wasps whenever you wanted to eat by the restaurant they would appear instantly. I'm not sure if this was due to the time of year but there were alot of them! We had a room on the ground floor by the pool (room 5) it was lovely. We did feel like more cupboard clothes space would have been useful as we stayed for 10 nights and you could hear water when people above were using their bathrooms. The air conditioning worked perfectly however the power stopped when you took your key out so don't leave anything in the fridge that could go off! The pool is not heated bur after a few moments you get used to the temperature. It's a very deep pool but always clean with the best view. Plenty of sunbeds. Would Absolutely stay here again if visiting zakynthos. A beautiful island but you definitely need a car!

Esta habitación es fantástica. Nos quedamos en una habitación superior que era moderna y tenía unas vistas al mar y una cama confortable. La piscina siempre tenía camas solares disponibles y nunca fue demasiado ocupada. Aunque el alojamiento está ligeramente fuera de la ciudad. Es un paseo fácil a la colina hacia el centro con muchos cabinas para llevarte de vuelta.

Back from another stay at Contessina Suites, and just like last time it didn’t disappoint. We were met by Marinos (from last year) and then Sara and Maria (also from last year!) it says a lot about a hotel when staff are willing to return!! We didn’t think it could get any better than before, but they did by exceeding our expectations again. We were offered a room upgrade for just €60 a night, so of course said yea! A pool for €60 a night, you have too! Breakfast was the same high standard, but with more things to build your own salad. Buffet dinner wasn’t quite up to last year, but was still enjoyable. We went out some nights though, and Elia was recommended to us - thanks reception for making the booking. They have a different excursion this year (although it’s the same boat) and the farm visit is very good. Lunch is also included this year! Beach within walking distance, and main shops/bars New staff this year that stood out was Che and Eduardo the Italian stallion. Already planning visit 3!

Just returned from a week's all-inclusive holiday at Cavo Orient. After reading some of the reviews we were a bit apprehensive about the accommodation, food and service but we found it all to be fantastic. We stayed in a family room with a private pool in the Annex. This is about a 5 min walk away from the main hotel complex/pool/beach. We personally preferred this as it was very peaceful and we enjoyed the walk through the olive trees in the evenings. If you don't want to walk it, you just call to reception and they send a private car within 2 minutes! The accommodation was really lovely. It had a double bed and 2 single beds with dividing doors. Great for a bit of privacy for the teenagers! The private pool was such an amazing addition with sea views and Kefalonia in the distance. The room was cleaned and beds made every day, without fail. Water in the fridge replenished, toilet rolls, bins emptied etc. Room had tea and coffee making facilities, mini fridge, robes and slippers. Even a bottle of wine on arrival! (Bring bottle opener though!) The main hotel was lovely. Pool was warm, loads of sun loungers at all times. The beach was gorgeous. Clear, warm waters and my partner even snorkelled with a turtle! Location was perfect for us, out of the way of the tourist areas and lovely and peaceful. There was a supermarket at the top of the hill which was handy for buying snacks, extra bits and bobs. The hotel food was absolutely amazing. We've been to a few all inclusive hotels and this definitely had the best quality and selection of food. Too much really! Definitely put on a few pounds! The all-inclusive drinks were to be as expected. The beer was quite weak and the cocktails made from the pre-made mixers. Only improvement on this front would be to include better cocktails for the all-inclusive guests. The staff were fantastic. So friendly and couldn't do enough to help and make us feel welcome and comfortable. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would love to return one day.

Las camas de sol eran muy cómodas y abundantes. Nos gusta decir un gran “Gracias” a todo el personal y esperamos verte de nuevo en 6 semanas 😁
