"Good drink selection in a country pub. Went for a Mother's Day meal with family, everyone enjoyed their food however as the vegetarian I was let down with a greasy pie lid, a Yorkshire pudding and half a carrot and parsnip cost £19.95. The veggie option was advertised as a tart and that was the only option (advertised as tart received a pie). Quite dissatisfied. Attention to detail was lacking, no serving spoons for the meat eaters sharing platter. The girls serving were attentive as we thought we might get forgotten about as it was just us in a room upstairs. Personally won't be returning."

"Our 5th stay at The swan, whenever we visit Upton The swan is our go to place. It's a gem, it's a wonderful old building, full of character and charm. The bathrooms has changed some since our last visit, a job well done. We had room 2, this time, overlooking the river, stunning views. The food is always tasty, never had any complaints there, uncomplicated menu, and great food. And last but by no means least, is the staff, just marvelous, welcoming, friendly and so very helpful, we have always been looked after well whilst staying at the Swan. Luke is doing a great job, and has a great team, and it's clear to see, and nice to see happy staff. Debbie we have met from our very first visit to the swan, 5 years ago, feels like going back to see a friend now, nothing is too much trouble for her and the other staff too, sorry guys I don't know all your names, but thankyou to you every single one of you for our lovely stay once again.! Orchard Side Bed and Breakfast

"Went here earlier this year to stay in Hanley Swan visiting with my partner. Easy to book and pay, not a problem. The host named Gigi was a very attentive, accomodating and helpful host. Explained all that was we needed to know. Greeted us at the door and showed us the room and facilities. The room was the Swan room. Very nicely decorated, all amenities were available, Wifi, tv, kettle in the room and lovely breakfast. The bathroom was modern, stylish, nicely decorated and well equipped. There was even a small fridge near the room entrance to put any extra personal perishables that we brought with us like milk or juice or snacks. Gigi made us feel welcome and looked after. A real nice gem right by the Malvern Hills. The prices were mid range to high. Not too expensive but not inexpensive. Gigi does get booked up quickly so do plan ahead if you want to enjoy this lovely place with plenty of things to do and go see during your stay. No noise levels to mention as it was fairly quiet there, and the place was very clean and tidy. No complaints here, all was very good. Thanks Gigi!"

"This is an old farmhouse, run by a charming old couple. The rooms are basic and very small, the wash/ shower area in the room we stayed in was inside half a wardrobe, rather cramped. The stairs were rather steep, not good if you have a knee problem as the handrail comes very close to the wall so not a lot to hold onto. You can have use of the lounge and pool table if you want to. There are stables with horses in also. The delightful bit is the superb breakfast cooked by the lady of the house, she is also good at giving some ideas on what to see in the area."
