Das Hotel liegt direkt gegenüber dem Bahnhof. Die Zimmer sind ausreichend groß. Das Personal ist z.T. freundlich und hilfsbereit. Leider ein Manko - es hat kein Restaurant, da kein Koch vorhanden ist. Das Frühstück war überraschend abwechslungsreich und in Ordnung

Zeer vriendelijke ontvangst. Het hotel is gedateerd maar goed onderhouden. Kamers zijn schoon en fris. Prima tv. Basic badkamer Ontbijt is wat ondermaats. Restaurant gesloten! Parkeren op eigen terrein. Prima prijs kwaliteit verhouding

afgelopen weekend bezochten wij Middeleeuws Winschoten. Wij logeerden van vrijdag tot zondag in het City hotel. Heel fijn dat het zo dicht bij de trein was! Het festival was super! Ons verblijf in het hotel was top! Wij vonden het City Hotel een verademing in vergelijk met veel 13 in een dozijn hotels (overigens ook niks mis mee) Persoonlijke aandacht, een gezellig praatje, goede bedden, ruime kamer en een heerlijk ontbijt met een versgebakken eitje met spek! Heerlijk, wij komen graag terug!

Het hotel ligt op een prima locatie, tegenover het station en op loopafstand van het gezellige centrum. De kamers zijn netjes als ook de bedden. De douche zou iets ruimer mogen maar voldoet prima voor een niet al te lang verblijf. Het hotel heeft wat achterstallig onderhoud maar dit is zeker geen ramp. Het ontbijt is eenvoudig maar volstaat, de beheerder, Karin, probeert je wensen zo goed mogelijk te vervullen. Al met al een prima hotel voor iemand met niet al te luxe wensen.

Dieses Hotel ist teuer zu bezahlen, billigst eingerichtet und Komfort scheint ein Fremdwort. Wir hatten 2 Nächte gebucht, sind aber nur eine geblieben, weil die Kombination von Holzschutz-, Putzmitteln, sowie Wäschebleiche so auf unsere Atemwege gewirkt hat, dass wir Kopfschmerzen und Schwindel davon bekamen. Der Geruch zog massiv in unser Zimmer und es war nicht auszuhalten. Die Rezeptionistin verleugnete, dass überhaupt irgendwas zu riechen war und weigerte sich in Folge, uns die Nacht zu erstatten, die wir aufgrund des Gestanks nicht mehr in ihrem Hotel verbringen wollten. Im Bad fanden wir eine bunte, breit gestreute Kombination von Rot- und Schwarzschimmel. Alles in Allem eine sehr ärgerliche Situation, die uns unseren lange ersehnten Kurzurlaub gründlich vermiest hat und wir ihn abbrechen mussten. Komfort und Gastfreundlichkeit geht definitiv anders!
