Clean and confortabile. Stuffs are kind and fun to talk. Free snack was available.

Beers and food left on tables, just needs some one ie staff to clear up dishes once customers have left, found a table the other side of bar that was clean.

Unfriendly and unhelpful staff in Day 1 set the wrong tone. Didn't think it was all that. Even left a day earlier than planned and went somewhere else instead.

Lovely feel on entering the hotel. The reception staff helped me master paying for parking. Room was very clean, nicely decorated and had lots of lighting options. Bathroom was a joy with spacious walk in shower and a great fresh feel. I was spoilt for choice with breakfast and enjoyed the great selection of fresh fruit! Sadly we didn't get round to using the spa facilities but maybe next time!

We stayed for a wedding, perfect location next to the station. Standout was the receptionist - super friendly and helpful, took our bags ahead of checking and allowed us to use the facilities to change for the wedding. Would recommend.

Room was lovely with great air conditioning during heatwave. Swimming pool etc very nice. Reception area very comfortable. Had some problems at dinner but the Hotel Manager responded very well and made some recompense. This is the right way to deal with constructive criticism which I greatly appreciated.

Hotel is located in a walking distance to the High Street. Carpark and charging stations are available. Rooms are clean. Staff are friendly and very helpful.

It’s the second time we stay here, location Is convenient, can walk to town, standard breakfast. Will visit again next time in Winchester.

Very helpful, great location for walking into Winchester, has car parking, payable at £7.50 for 24 hours. Very comfortable bed. Only downside was we couldn't get a glass with ice from reception just after 11pm.

Stayed for a night in Winchester, place is around 8 mins walk from the train station so it is very convenient. However, the roads to it is quite dark especially in the late evening or night hence may not be suitable for solo travellers. Otherwise, it is indeed a very nice hotel and I am very very pleased.

I had a great time at the Hotel and Spa - all of the facilities were clean and appealing. I loved the art deco feel and the spa was amazing - spacious and well maintained. All staff members that I encountered were pleasant and helpful. Great location for train station and town. My only suggestion would be to make the bar more appealing, perhaps subtle showing of some sports or entertainment - with so many other local pubs and bars there was nothing to keep me in the hotel bar. 

Little noisey above room with floor boards also noisey with pipework in bathroom next to bed during the night. But bed was excellent room was great hotel was great everything else great

When we arrived at just gone 2pm, the receptionist said only one of our rooms was available. I commented that this wasn't very good and the receptionist told ne we weren't supposed to check in until 3pm. My confirmation said 2pm, so the receptionist said if you can prove it then I'll try to do something about it! Not a response I expected, not very professional, but I showed him my email to satisfy the receptionist. We had people in our party that needed to lie down mid-afternoon, so check-in time was more important that normal. Our room had no windows, just a draughty fire door with obscure glass, so you couldn't see out. The bathroom had a skylight with a blind pulled down on it - there was heaps of dust on the blind, so everytime I went in there, I was waiting for a load of dust to fall on me - it didn't, but it wasn't very pleasant. We booked our rooms several weeks in advance, and on the Saturday night there was a function going on. The music was so loud that we couldn't get to sleep until midnight when the music stopped. In the morning at breakfast the poached eggs had obviously been kept warm for a long time and were solid. Also at breakfast, the coffee machine wasn't working and they ran out of hot water for cups of tea. That's fair enough, but after the hot water was replenished, I went to get a cup of tea and there was no hot water again. I ended up giving up, since they couldn't keep up with the demand for hot water. We had decided to pay a bit more for a hotel that was supposedly a bit more up market - we were really disappointed.
