Travelodge Winchester

We had a great experience at the hotel, the staff were very helpful and welcoming. The hotel is well located and the rooms were clean.

The hotel was clean and centrally located. Reception lady at late shift was very helpful and informative about the area. We actually had a super room so kitkat and hotchocolate was icing on cake. Will be staying again in December.

The hotel is in a very central and convenient spot in Winchester. If you’re looking for affordable, centrally located accommodation in Winchester, and are okay with a budget-hotel level of comfort (with some variability in room quality), then Travelodge is a solid choice. The location is a major plus, especially for exploring on foot.

I really love the service they provide us😍its just too good❤️ This hotel was a great value for the money.the bed was remarkably comfortable ..the hotel surpassed all my expectations.. The staff was welcoming and accommodating right from the moment we checked in. The room was clean and the breakfast spread was also quite tasty. I will certainly return during my next visit.

I asked for the WiFi code at check in, having paid extra in my booking but was told that I would have received an email with these details and if not then to come back to reception. I couldn't find an email so stopped at reception again when we were going out where the same receptionist seemed to try to persuade us to come back when we returned from our trip out so we agreed. When we returned, there was a different receptionist so I relayed the story and was told that in order to get the WiFi code I would need to provide my booking reference which I couldn't get on my phone because I had no signal. Eventually the original receptionist arrived and after some time on the computer showed me his phone with a QR code to scan to connect my phone. The issue here was that it was my daugther's iPad that I wanted to connect which was in the room so I just asked that the WiFi be refunded and we could make do without it. I'm doubtful that this has been done. I was disappointed at the number of times that I had had to go to reception to try and get the issue resolved and also how during the 10 minues or so of standing there on the third time, when I was asked for my booking reference, I wasn't kept informed about what the potential issue might be, I still don't know what the problem was. The bath needed to be wiped down as had a dirty mark around it and the shower curtain was pretty disgusting along the bottom and should have been replaced, especially considering the low cost.

A wonderful stay at travel lodge Winchester. Perfect location. Amazing manager (Rabin) and a very friendly reception ( Meghan ) who helped try to find my missing rings . They were actually in my suitcase but she offered to search the room and phone me back either way. 💯 brilliant. Thank you 😊
