Stayed here for one night in April 2023 and thought it was fine. There is still reconstruction work going on on floor 1 but we didn't hear it. Did I hear it on the weekend? No. The junior suite was absolutely fine with a little balcony and a table outside. I am surprised this hotel doesn't have better reviews on here. POSITIVES: The room was very nice, bed was comfy and staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was excellent too. It is about 5 minutes to walk to the number 6 tram at the Friedhof St. Peter (Cemetery) stop from Moserhofgasse - this gets you into the city very quickly. NEGATIVES: There are only 5 very minor negatives about the stay here, which is the reason it only gets 4 out of 5. 1. Parking charges - you are nowhere near the middle of Graz but they would like you to park in their garage at a cost. Alternatively they offer you green zone parking on the street outside which is free, but only at the weekend. Why on earth they cannot come to some deal with the the BILLA supermarket next door is beyond me, as BILLA car parks are never full up. 2. The pillows were stupidly squashy and there were no spares/extra pillows in the room. 3. We were not offered a Wifi password when we arrived and used BILLA free wifi next door instead. 4. No spoons in the room. Granted they have a very nice Nespresso coffee machine and capsules but no spoons or stirrers for the coffee. The advert stated the room had a fridge - it didn't. 5. The HOTEL TV is a nuisance as the remote didn't work, neither did the HDMI socket. Why hotels switch off HDMI sockets on TVs is ridiculous - this is 2023 and we can bring our own devices, watch what we want on them and be able to plug them into the TV in the hotel. They need to fix this and regularly check their remote controls. If you are stuck for something to do on a Sunday, the Grazer Trödlermarkt (Fleamarket) is within walking distance of this hotel and although you probably won't buy anything, it is a real trip down memory lane looking at all the old junk that they have for sale there.

El tiempo de inicio de check-in se indica como 13:00-20:00. De hecho, el cuarto sólo pudo ser recibido justo antes de las 18:00. No estaba en el equipo de limpieza, sino en la recepción/gestión que permitió al antiguo huésped la ubicación del cuarto hasta las 17:00 (en lugar de las 12:00), así que el deseo del antiguo huésped fue a cargo del nuevo huésped. Las conversaciones de bienvenida a las 13:45, 17:25 y 17:50 son algo tensas, y un ”Bienvenido” amable y cálido es diferente. El check-out todavía tiene que pagar un impuesto, aunque la factura ya se ha cargado en la reserva, lo que podría haberse mencionado en la confirmación de reserva o en otro lugar o, al menos, en la entrada. Así, la aprobación se traduce en una situación desagradable en un debate con un recepcionista fuerte, desagradable y aparentemente perturbado. El equipamiento de la habitación está totalmente bien: si se utiliza el baño como ducha, sería una fuerte parada para la seguridad en el salir (glisante). Situación: a pie de la estación, muy accesible con tranvía, no demasiado del centro, correspondiendo algo (pero no mucho) ruido de carretera hasta las 24 horas y a partir de las 5:30.

He reservado este hotel para mi viaje de servicio y estoy absolutamente entusiasmado. Aquí está todo en orden. Las habitaciones son modernas y equipadas con todo. También hay un gran bar con Wi-Fi de alta velocidad y un gran bar para trabajar o permanecer. El desayuno es rica y simplemente muy bonito. El equipo super amable se encuentra aquí en una estancia excelente y agradable. Definitivamente no mi última visita aquí.

My family and I have been on travel for two months and stayed in 20 hotels. The Mercure Graz City is near the top of the list of our favorite hotels for this trip. From the service at check in through our check out, it was perfect. Great location, nice rooms, good breakfast, and convenient parking made this a ”we need to return to this hotel” event. I want to especially commend and thank Stoyan Yoroanov and Lily Nagy, front office, for their attention to detail and responsiveness.

Hoteles muy limpios, habitaciones amplias! Sin embargo, algunos servicios dejan que deseen! ¡Es un hotel de 4 estrellas y nadie sabía hablar italiano! ¡El inglés de algunos se hablaba, de otros no! La televisión por satélite no prevé la visión de la televisión italiana! Se rompió un rubínico de la lavandería. Nos comunicamos este fallo por la mañana a las 10.00, a bien 2 personas diferentes y a las 17.00, al volver a nuestra habitación, no se había reparado aún y, nos han hecho cambiar de alojamiento! Una noche, mientras estabamos fuera a cenar, un número desconocido nos llamó y pensando que era un spam, no respondimos. Al llegar, descubrimos que la recepción había cerrado a 21.00 y, estabamos fuera de la puerta del hotel, sin clave! Llamámos un número de emergencia y la persona que nos respondió nos dio un código para acceder. La noche siguiente, es decir, el sábado, nos llamaron para decir que la recepción habría cerrado a 19.00! Ahora, estamos en agosto y en un hotel de 4 estrellas y la recepción cerra como un hotel de última categoría?

El hotel se ve nuevo. Diseñado de manera minimalista, recortando los costes al servir los esenciales. Un albergue, de forma eficaz. Situado a más de 15 minutos en coche del centro de la ciudad, el hotel ofrece un parque de coches gratuito para atraer a los residentes.
