Stood here for the weekend with my partner. Aesthetically, the hotel is super artsy, fun, and pleasing to the eye. The decor and appearance screams chic, quirky, and metropolitan. From the lobby, adorned with all manners of interesting books, odd trinkets, and colorful sculptures, to the cute, cozy outdoor sitting space filled with pretty greenery, I could not stop raving about this hotel the entire trip.
The style of the rooms could very much be described as a European “take” on the well-known Japanese “Pod” style hotels. The rooms were concise (not cramped) and had a sleek, modern, and minimalistic style of furniture (desk with chair, bench, vanity w/sink, bed-frame with built in storage space).
Think “IKEA meets stylish, retro Japanese pod hotel”. If that makes sense. LOL.
Plus everything in the room is controlled using an iPad which I think it pretty flipping cool. SMART TV in the room, as well, meaning unlimited access to YouTube, Netflix, or pretty much anything that can stream from your phone/device which is perfect after a long day exploring the city.
(You can also change the color of the mood lighting in the room via the IPad which provided my boyfriend and I with hours of entertainment pretending we were post apocalyptic humans trapped in some green-tinted “Twilight Zone” style alien bunker)
Also, if you prefer a hard mattress, you will find the hotel bed very comfortable.
During our time here, we had easy access to a LOT of good food. There’s 2 restaurants inside the hotel as well as a really great Middle Eastern restaurant directly across the street. (I approve of their falafel and roasted sweet potatoes. Very good). There are so many cultural and ethnic restaurants in the immediate area for those who are adventurous eaters. There’s even a pretty nice Trader Joe’s around 4 blocks away for stocking the hotel room with healthy snacks and beverages (a must).
Plus Union Market is pretty close to the hotel. I wouldn’t miss it if I were you. Big hall with lots of food vendors and even a little shopping. Even if you aren’t looking to eat and just want to kill a little time, it’s still interesting to walk around and see the cool and unique foods they sell. Soak up the little local color.
Overall, it was a totally unique and memorable hotel experience that was totally worth the cost.

Este hotel tiene el Mejor personal de servicio al Cliente en todas las áreas, es súper lindo, la limpieza espectacular y la vista desde las habitaciones muy buenas, lo único que no me gusto es que está en un área donde por lo Menos yo no me sentí segura caminando, hay muchas personas homeless en esa zona y eso hace el salir a caminar o por lo menos para nosotros un poco incómodo, pero está muy bien ubicado, a poca distancia de todos los lugares de interés en carro.

El hotel no tiene un spa o piscina para que sea necesario ser reparado. El hotel tiene excelentes alojamientos! El bar AKB es fantástico y tiene un hh. El desayuno es genial. Our first time at this property and we chose it because of the location to the metro on the red line. It is right out the back door across the street. Extremely convenient! We were visiting DC for the weekend. The property was nice, the room was room was comfortable, the service was excellent, the underground parking, while there is an additional fee, is secure and convenient and the checkin/checkout process was flawless. If you want a completely digital experience this is it. The staff checked in via text a few times but were not intrusive. We requested extra towels and received them promptly. While we didn’t visit them, there is an on-site restaurant/bar and a coffee shop available. We have stayed at other properties in the area. I am glad we chose to disregard any disgruntled negative reviews. This will be our property of choice when we visit the city.

Vivir aquí una semana, me siento muy bien. El espacio es grande. Hay servicio de limpieza de clientes todos los días, por lo que es muy limpio. se trata de un hotel ubicado a unas 15 cuadras del capitolio , buen punto de partida para recorrer la zona monumental de Washington. Nos alojamos 5 personas, y realmente estuvimos muy cómodos ( tiene un área de living con sillon cama muy pero muy confortable hasta para un adultos). A una cuadra la entrada de metro ( en el caso de 5 personas es mas conveniente el Uber). tiene cochera de pago con valet ( 50 dólares) pero hay varios parking en la zona por 20 dólares ( a la vuelta ) Las camas muy cómodas y el hotel es silencioso. El servicio de limpieza hay que pedirlo ( no lo hacen rutinariamente) el desayuno muy correcto, con frutas ( manzanas y bananas) yoghurt, panificación, box con huevos , hamburguesas y tortillas). El desayunador es comodo y muy agradable, El personal de front desk muy amable y servicial. ( nos dieron las indicaciones de como llegar a diferentes lugares). El unico punto negativo el señor encargado de solicitar los carnet de vacunación, muy cascarrabias, siempre retándonos por motivos no claros. tiene cerca algunos resto , Mac Donald, domino pizza y 7 eleven. En resumen lo elegimos por el precio y resulto ser una buena elección .

La ubicación del hotel fue tan conveniente desde que se encuentra a un bloque de la estación de la Unión y entramos en Amtrak - pero también porque la línea de metro también corre desde allí.
