A warm welcome from friendly staff led us to delightful accommodation and followed by a delicious meal with good wines. A great nights sleep was followed by an excellent breakfast and concluded with a value for money bill

The Greyhound Inn exceeded our expectations and more. The service, the food, the rooms, the quality - it was absolutely brilliant. We felt like we were at home - the service was top-notch and topped with the amazing food, we'll be back!! Thank you for such a great weekend and for appeasing our needs rushing between a wedding and your venue.

We have just enjoyed another gorgeous stay at The Greyhound - sumptuous food, delightful service and divine beds and rooms. We will return again!

Stayed for one night. Booked online in advance for room & restaurant but booking confirmation for restaurant went to a totally different e-mail address to the accommodation booking and one which I did not use and so was seen by the person I was making a surprise booking for. Not a good start. I was told that the stay would be made ‘special’ or ‘memorable’ or some such but there was nothing provided or offered or discounted so I have no idea what that meant. Anyway……..check-in fine. Room at very top (Wantage) fine. Sat and drank next to the bar. Service good, beer good, wine good. Had dinner at another table (set for dinner) and the service and food were both very good. Slept well (which is good for me as sometimes I don’t in strange places) and considering the room overlooks the road it was quiet (Letcombe Regis is not a busy place anyway). Breakfast was very good in fact I would go as far as to say excellent. Excellent service. All in all I think one of the best stays anywhere (others have been more luxury but not as comfy) and one of the best meals I’ve had here. And I would say good value in total.

Wonderful food and service. This place excels at everything that it does and is a real find. Located in a beautiful village with amazing countryside on the doorstep, it is convenient for Oxford, Blenheim Palace or just exploring the local area. Will definitely be returning.

The place is amazing. The restaurant/ pub is very cosy and the food is delicious!!! The rooms are perfect for a short stay over. It’s incredible how quiet the rooms are considering there is a busy pub downstairs! The staff are lovely. If you are looking for somewhere to stay in the area definitely stay here! I found the food prices slightly on the high side; but to be honest the food was incredible!!!

I've been coming to The Greyhound for a couple of years now for Business. First introduced by a friend for dinner. On this occasion I stayed in the Ridgeway Room, small but perfect, the bed is as comfy as any I've stayed in and I've got fond of the smell of the toiletries provided. After a good night's sleep, I had an early morning run (and this is a brilliant reason to stay here), up on the Ridgeway and around the old Iron Age settlement. My breakfast was superb as ever (I had the Shakshouka for the first time). Can't recommend this place enough. I will miss staying here for Business and look forward to coming back for leisure.

Lovely old characterful Inn with great rooms. The restaurant delivers an extensive menu and was of a very high quality with a good choice of wines etc, the service was friendly but very professionally done, we will certainly return.
