"El tamaño de la habitación era aceptable, pero el baño era un poco pequeño. El hotel tiene un aire histórico y algunas instalaciones presentaban pequeños problemas. Las ventanas son de madera, pero la de mi habitación estaba torcida y no cerraba bien. Por suerte, no hacía frío. Una de las camas crujía al darme la vuelta. La ubicación del hotel es excelente, justo enfrente de la cadena Voss. El restaurante del desayuno tiene una vista preciosa y una gran variedad de platos. El personal del hotel fue muy amable y atento. Dispone de aparcamiento propio, gratuito para los huéspedes. (Olvidé accidentalmente una chaqueta de plumas en el armario y me di cuenta dos días después. Contacté con el hotel por teléfono online, la encontraron y me dijeron que la recogiera en un par de días. Por suerte, estaba en mi ruta habitual, así que pude recogerla sin problemas. Mi impresión del hotel mejoró muchísimo)."

"This place is a shadow of what it used to be. The hotel’s charm has completely worn off, and the family running it seems to have lost interest in maintaining any standards. The rooms are overpriced, noisy, and far from relaxing. The food, while still decent, is nowhere near the quality it was a few years ago. Expectation times are ridiculous—there’s rarely anyone at reception, and there aren’t enough waitresses to handle even a half-full restaurant. Sadly, the hotel gets worse with each passing year, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone anymore"

"It was by chance, due to a miscalculation of the mileage, that we ended up in this hotel… lost and far from everything. When we realized this, we wanted to cancel, but the establishment refused. So we went anyway. An hour and a half of driving on back roads to find a “hotel” at the end of the world where there was hardly anyone. I imagine it's more popular in the winter for ski touring trips. We did, however, find a woman who ran both the hotel and the small supermarket. That's also why I'm giving it two stars and not one. She was absolutely charming. But I absolutely do not recommend the hotel. Very expensive for what you get."

"Quiet, cozy, simple lodging off the beaten path. The lodge is old but obviously loved, next to a small but roaring river. Staff were very accommodating about our accidental late arrival, had excellent recommendations for the nearby hiking opportunities, and served great food. Patrons are welcome to take extra bread and sandwich material for lunches at a small cost. Rooms were small and utilitarian but comfortable; guests are asked to make their own beds upon arrival and to strip the beds down upon departure. Wish we stayed more than two nights here- this was definitely a highlight of our trip."

"Very friendly staff and ideal ski resort for beginners, the lessons given by Sebastian were very good. The hotel was nice and clean. I wasn't too keen on the food, it wasn't too bad but options were limited but I can live with that. The main issue I wasn't happy about was the room temperature - it was set to 19 degree which you could increase to 23 degrees. Problem is once it reached that, it then slowly dropped back to 19 and you have to increase it again. Not acceptable in a cold country. Aside from that, all round great experience, highly recommend."

"The epitome of Norway self-driving tour must live in a hotel with historical background, The view from the hotel is the most beautiful I have ever seen! Push, push, push! The interior and decoration are very old school, and the handsome guy at the front desk is so handsome in a suit and tie. The souvenir shop in the lobby is very distinctive, and the hotel has its own museum. It is not very far from voss and bergen, so it is very suitable for staying on the road by car."

"The hotel room is normal but the waitress of the restaurant is like a disaster. At 7pm we went to the glass house of the restaurant to have a drink and we didn’t feel like to eat. After we had the drinks and tried to pay, the waitress was very angry and asked why we don’t eat. The restaurant still got many empty seats and we don’t understand why we must order food. We have been travelled in Norway for a week and she is the rudest person I ever seen.酒店很普通，餐厅服务非常差，女服务员看上去很累的样子，也没有笑脸。我们点了几杯饮料和酒，不太想吃东西所以喝完准备买单，服务员很生气的问我们为什么不点吃的。餐厅还有很多空位子，我们为什么必须点吃的？下北欧旅游了这么多天，这家的服务是最差的。"

"Mountain lodge-like structure. Very beautiful setting, near a river. Rather isolated, perfect for hiking in the surrounding area, less so as a base for exploring the area due to the long road to get there (though the views are beautiful). Rooms: Bunk beds. We had a room for four, with a private bathroom. Spartan. Only one towel per person. Bed linens and beds need making. Duvets and pillows are quite worn. However, clean and comfortable beds. Very nice, spacious, homely lobby. Typical, homemade breakfast, good. Good dinner, the same for everyone, with no choice except for pizza day. However, expensive compared to other Norwegian dinners. Excellent staff, very friendly and helpful! I recommend this structure for hikers."
