Parque Mourabel, Oasis Village & Pe do Lago

A great hotel complex. Reception staff were SO helpful, above and beyond! Friendly and can communicate very well in English. A lovely walk to the marina from the hotel, takes a good 25-30mins though. This is fine but with young children it can take double the time 🤣, so, we hired bikes. The reception staff sorted this for us. It was a great bike rental company. Choice of three swimming pools but all are not heated. I’m a swimmer, after about 20 lengths I just got colder and colder. But fine for a cool down dip. My six and four year old did get in for a few minutes. They open late, 10am. I like to swim from 7.30/8am. So, if you’re after an early morning swim head for the sea. We had a massive apartment, it was fantastic. All necessities for self catering. Our apartment was clean, however, day two the cleaners were at our door around 3pm on our return from a day out. So, we told them not to bother to clean our room so that we could go into it. They did leave us more loo roll and towels. So, our apartment wasn’t cleaned throughout our five night stay, but where our apartment was so spacious it felt clean and tidy anyhow. Supermarket serves fresh rolls every morning and has a fair selection. Tasty fruit. There needs to be more child friendly facilities, like a play park, but the Portuguese don’t seem to have them like we do in England. Overall, it’s a basic hotel, but clean, pleasant and friendly staff.

Just got back after a weeks holiday with the family, 2 adults 3 children. Pros, Pool is big and has plenty of room. Plenty of sunbeds Air con is really good Towels changed every two days Free bus trips to the marina/beach daily Cons Beds not very comfortable, pull out single bed for a child is extremely uncomfortable. Massive gap in the middle of the mattress. Our other two children had to sleep on the two sofas in the living room so not actually on a bed. Itchy scratchy blanket is awful, don’t think they would put up with them in prison. Very slow service when waiting for food. Balcony far to low in corridors leading to your room so be careful if you have young children Sunbeds could do with a good clean Staff pretty miserable, you get the odd grunt when you speak to them. If your having burgers make sure they are cooked, very hit and miss! If you are looking for basic hotel then this is for you!

Checkin very speedy. You're left to make your way to the apartment on your own. But that's fine. Room was clean and spacious. Air con was difficult to get going but once sorted it kept the room lovely and cool. Plenty of cooking utensils but the cooker could do with renewing. You couldn't read any of the dials. Pool area is lovely and clean and enough sun beds. The bar area is nice and food is served throughout the day and in the evening. The beer and food is very reasonably priced. Location is good, only a 20 min walk to the marina and a couple of minutes away from a bar and nice restaurant. Overall it's a very good 3 star. We've stayed here 3 times and wouldn't hesitate to come back

We have been going for 20 years plus and have always had a great time. The staff are absolutely fantastic and they work so hard to give you the best experience. We have already booked for next year. Would always recommend and do when we are there to new visitors. 🥰🤪🍹🍽

We had a lovely 5 night break at these apartments, booked through Jet2. The apartment was spacious, well equipped and cleaned daily. Air Con was included which was great as usually pay extra. The pool area was large, lots of sunbeds. There was a restaurant / bar but we didn’t eat there. There was a local shop 2 minutes walk away where we stocked up. The apartments are set 25 minute walk from the marina. We used the bolt app (like Uber) every evening for a lift to the marina (approx €4), but enjoyed a walk back after dinner. If you are looking for a relaxing break, I would definitely recommend.

We stayed here for 1 week, with our 9 year old son. Our first stay here was over 9 years ago when she was pregnant with him so we got the chance to experience this place as a family and as a couple. Both stays were great, we loved the apartment we stayed in, was huge and had all the useful utilities needed. Pool area was always clean, staff were friendly and helpful. My only criticism before was when we came last time there wasn’t any WiFi in the apartments but now there is. Now my only criticism about the hotel is its condition, Looks somewhat outdated, however, we were throughly satisfied with the hotel overall and would definitely return. Thank you to the staff for making our holiday a great one

4 night stay in May half term. We had a lovely relaxing stay. Our apartment was an updated superior, 44, overlooking the pool which was great. Cleaner came everyday. The staff are very friendly, the grounds are kept well.Everything very clean. Food is good, and excellent value, as are the drinks, half the price of the marina. We will be returning (this was our 3rd visit).

We arrived at the hotel slightly worried after reading some negative reviews, but we were pleasantly surprised. The reception was clean and tidy and the man on reception was very welcoming. Although we were early they suggested we have a drink and then our room would be ready, the bar area and pool area are kept immaculate and all the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was a superior one bedroom apartment on the 4th floor, it had recently been refurbished and upgraded, it was beautiful and had everything we needed, if I had to pick any faults I would say the shower wasn't the best and the wardrobe doors stick ! So nothing really. The hotel location was overlooking the pool and was peaceful day and night. Breakfast was simple but adequate as a vegan i struggled slightly so did take my own milk and yoghurt in. We were bed and breakfast because of this, but those that were on half board were saying the food on an evening was beautiful. Location wise it is quiet, surrounded by a few restaurants the Lagos Azure ? I think, over the road near the supermarket was exceptional and we ate here twice. Its a nice walk to the marina, about 25mins and we used the Bolt app for getting about which was petfect. The hotel offers free shuttle and there's a tourist train also, so plenty of transport. We had entertainment of music, karaoke etc most evenings. I highly reccomend a trip to the gypsy markets for some bargains. Its just opposite Lidl. We had a 4 day break and I cant fault anything, from start to finish. Clean, Tidy, Friendly and nice location. Definitely warrants the 3star status. Arrived home yday, after a holiday here,on arrival Reception guy helpful,pleasant, apartment lounge huge ,welcome pack in kitchen, apartment lovely ,nice balcony views over pool,breakfast buffet lovely lots of choice, staff all lovely,friendly, helpful,nice relaxing days by the pool ,previous reviews of negative feed back ignore,because this is a great hotel supermarket 5 mins walk away,nice local restaurant over road next to supermarket do gorgeous salad or pasta dishes good price too, lovely holiday 😀
